Ok lots going as we ended the 1st half of Round 11....

Everyone needs to just calm down! 😆

Believe it or not, this whole competition is meant to be kind of a reality show. After all, what separates it from the ones you see on TV? I mean besides for the obvious things like it's not on TV, and the contestants aren't professional, and they know if they are playing and so on. There is no separation. In both there is a similar format. In both the audience and judges know it's a competition and will take it somewhat seriously. In both you have both the audience, and judges, playing their part to rate each contestant. And it's inevitable that their opinions are not going to match. In both there is drama. There has been, and there will be.

One main difference is that the audience and judges can't interact in the ones you see in TV. Here you can. And that's where some of the drama originates from. Here, both the audience and judges are from the same platform. That's the main difference. And when they have different views, there will be altercations. This is inevitable. To continue this theory, let me talk to judges and audience

Judges- You remember watching that one reality TV show, or not that one, but almost every reality show, and there is always 1 or 2 judges, that everyone just seemed to disagree with collectively. Everyone on the forums would just get together, and go off on their judgments. And you were probably one of them. Well, now maybe you can see it from the judges point of view. Maybe now you are the one being attacked by everyone. Back then you probably thought, something was wrong with the judge. But now you see the same happen to you, it's kind of interesting to see things from a whole different POV.

But the point is, it happens to everyone. You just happened to be that unlucky judge. But when that judge was being criticized, did the show producer kick him out? No. The show continued. And the judge simply ignores all the comments and continues judging like nothing happened.

Audience- Audience, think of all the reality shows, or even shows with judges and audience you've seen, and think of all the times where you found 1 judge you disagreed with often. It happens all the time! I don't even need to give examples. So why would you not expect it to happen here? There should be at least 1 or 2, judges that you will just disagree with. This is a fact you should've accepted coming in. There will be a judge or 2 that you think is just wrong and biased.

So the point is, disagreements are inevitable with judges. Remember, I picked 4 judges that would bring something different to the table. If we had 4 of the same judges, with the same likes/dislikes, it would be boring. But now when you have 4 judges that bring something different to the table, there is no way that you will not disagree with at least 1 or 2. It's inevitable as I've been saying.

So the main point of that last post was, it's inevitable that there were going to be some serious disagreements between some of the judges and audience. It happens in every show that there are judges. And since audience can directly interact with judges here, these disagreements turn into altercations and drama.

So the next point to address is, what to be done? Well first of all, the judging panel is not changing. No one is resigning. And so on. As I said earlier, no matter how much everyone hates a judge even in real life, he doesn't just resign in the middle of it. Just doesn't work like that.

Hunk proposed a different scoring system, similar to the one that was already going to be used in the Final Round, and still will be used in the Final Round. Now the only issue is should we use it earlier? Starting next round? That I will still have to think about. But for those that didn't know, don't worry, at least in the Final Round, when there are still 3 singers left, there will be another system, that even Hunk wouldn't mind xobile judging in. 😆

What I'm trying to say is, in the Final Round, the winner will be a deserving one. From the eyes both the Audience and Judges!

Yeah I told hunk to come in and start attacking xobile and CPR.

I'm kidding. 😉 I don't have to do a thing to create drama. Just the love some of these posters have for their favorite singers is enough. And that could be called a good thing.

Anyways, got to go for now. Get onto the 2nd Half of Round 11!

Erm, it's simple.

Just like any reality show. The judges should be separated from the audience and any audience member who wants to question our scores should be banned. Make a separate thread for judges which only judges are allowed to post in. And the audience can read but not interact. There can be another thread for them to discuss.

Bas. Baat khatam. 😆 😛
