How the dulhans died...

In last night's episode, seeing the recap today, Padmavati described how each of the brides died:

• Bali's bride fell down a staircase
• Adesh's bride was strangulated
  
• Avadh's bride (Chutki) fell down a well

So that clears that part of the mystery.  What's left is how exactly Padmavati/Kuber/Ghungru pulled each of these off.  Also, did Gajraj & Harihar lose their wives?

Also, from last night's episode, seemed like one of the servants, who returned to Gajraj reporting failure (this was the same guy who failed to guard Chutki's dad) was probably in league w/ Kuber.  I mean, how come he couldn't spot that chain, but Jai could?  They seemed to search the same area.

Good point about the guard guy.  He did come up and say he found no evidence of anyone.  But if he did go in that area and spotted Kuber's chain, he would have picked it up and not left it there for anyone else to see.  Maybe he didn't check at all and was just lying. That chain was quite bold and thick too.  Nobody can miss seeing that.

So everyone experienced different ways of death.  They attempted to kill Jamu by hitting her on the head  with a rock but she went in to a coma .  From the flashbacks , they showed Gajraj's wife falling down  over the balcony in the house and died.

Sita, you are absolutely right.   It has to be somebody working in the house.  They could even poison Jamu.  But now she is in a coma and she can't eat anything.  They have to give her IV drip only to keep her alive.

Padma and company are paying someone in there to do all this dirty work of killing all the brides.

Thinking about it again some more, the reason Chuki's dad managed to escape from that guard was not that the guard didn't want him to escape, but that he let him escape, while making it look like an escape.  Reason being that he wanted Jamu to be warned against entering that haveli.  Now, he may well be the person who caused these things, like making the top of the stairway slippery, causing the bricks in front of the well to be loose and for sabotaging the clothes in a manner that would force strangulation.

But I think Kuber threw the rock, not him.  Or else, how could Kuber's chain have been w/ him?  He may have probably missed it, or else, he'd have picked it up and given it back to Kuber.
