I still remember the literal explosion this precap and the promo caused in our forum then😳
Everyone went nuts....There was an incredibly cute varni and savni scene coming up and of course PRIDA...We all called this PRIDA IN BLACK....
This was Gaurav and Chandana's BEST looking scene IMHO....

Prithvi Saxena thinks she is the most arrogant and annoying girl he has ever met in his life and he cant wait to throw this job at her face and walk out...
But he needs proof which will prove his father's innocence...He cannot afford to bring his personal issues with that girl affect his goal..So bear her he will but he wont compromise on his self respect...
He is Balraj Saxena's Son and he will be extremely sincere to his duty even if he cannot tolerate Damini Gujaral for one second..
48 hours and he will gladly walk out of Damini Gujaral's life with the proofs he requires with his dad and his family will be one again in Manali...
That is what he thought.....
Damini Gujaral is a strong independent woman...She is tough, has a no-nonsense attitude towards life and people and is perfectly capable of taking care of herself.
She is highly agitated with the fact that her mom has appointed a Bodyguard for her..Despite her vociferous pleas that she does not need a bodyguard much less one with an attitude, Ila Gujaral does not budge and insists Prithvi Saxena will be the guy who will protect her...
Damini tries her best to throw him out but he manages to hold on to his job each time and to her irritation gets promoted as Chief Security Head too..
In 48 hours hopefully or sooner she will throw him out of his job, out of her life and will go back to living her life peacefully...
That is what she thought....
Neither Prithvi nor Damini knew that by the end of the ensuing 48 hours,
Their Lives would change forever....
The way they view each other would change forever....
Their Feelings for each other would change ever....
( I would have loved to elaborate in detail on the following events...but then my post would have become an essay even by my standards😆...so just a glimpse of what happened during the 48 hours😳)
Why does she lose control over her emotions when he is so close to her, holding her, looking into her eyes...She does not understand..
Be it when he is helping her when she slips right outside the security room, the way he held her in the boutique, the way he came to her rescue again from Toofan ensuring she did not get majorly hurt, the way he stubbornly yet gently carried her into her home and why is it that she is letting him take care of her when she has never allowed any guy to come this close to her...
He is thinking along the same lines...puzzled...
Why did he have to run after her dupatta like that...why did he get so lost in her eyes outside the security room...why is it that he found it tough to concentrate on the road and his
eyes kept looking at her in the rear view mirror..
why did inder flirting with her irritate him and he switched on the music system pretending that he was giving them privacy...what was he thinking when he walked into the changing
room like that...
what is it about her that makes him lose his control completely...When she gets hurt physically why is he so concerned be it the night before or the morning when she hurt herself with the cupboard..
Why is her sadness at her not going with her fiancee to the party and vulnerabilities affecting him so much..why does he want to protect her from everything..beyond the call of duty..
He is waiting for her to arrive...Although his working hours ended hours ago...he wants to make sure she reaches the party safely....atleast that is what he tells himself that it is his duty and nothing else...
This morning he has seen a different side to her, her vulnerable side...which he never thought she had...
Her sadness at Inder not accompanying her and the disappointment
she felt and showed surprised him....
Yet in all this she asks if he is okay and he did not get hurt....
There is no way he can let her go alone....no way he can let her go....
And then he sees her...She is wearing a simple elegant black saree with bare minimum accessories...She looks BEAUTIFUL..
He stands there mesmerized looking at her, He tries hard not to stare, looks down trying to control himself...Nope, gives up...
He finds it tough not to stare at her....he continues looking at her.....his face void of any emotions...
but his eyes tell a completely different story....Like his eyes always do every single time he looks at her..
She comes out....she takes a deep breath calming herself down looking ...enjoying the rain
for a moment....she turns and sees him there....this time his presence is reassuring..she gives a half smile in acknowledgement but realizes he is staring at her....she turns away..slightly uncomfortable and awkward...
Something has changed between them...
He knows it, he feels it..
She knows it, she feels it...
no words said, it is understood..
The drive to the party is quiet..each lost in their own thoughts...
and they reach the destination...There is an uncomfortable silence between them..
He is still fighting hard to not look at her..but is failing..stealing a glance at her, he realizes that he needs to break the silence...
He delicately asks her if she wants him to wait till Inder arrives...
She tells him he can go, she will wait for Inder..This whole situation is embarrassing and awkward for her.
He firmly tells her that he wont leave her alone...She insists he goes...
The first time they are talking with each other than at each other and it is new territory for both of them..
Just then they are interrupted by a drunken man....
Prithvi gets mad and is about to get out of the car to confront him...she stops him by placing her hand on his shoulders..
He stops and looks at her surprised...
Is this the same Damini Gujaral who used to go ballistic when he touched her even though it was done to protect her..
She is surprised too...what made her do this...
Both feel the change, the awkwardness....The sudden tension between them is unbearable for both of them and confusing at the same time...
He switches on the music to break this tension...The RJ seems to be talking exactly what each is feeling now...
Making them even more uncomfortable....The beautiful title track plays...and each is thinking about the other..
He is thinking about her and the moment they shared in that dressing room..she is thinking about the way he saved her yet again...and the way he held her closely and the way he looked at each other and she cud not help responding..
They both look at each other...confused about this sudden change of feelings towards each other...
He is unable to take it anymore...he gets out of the car to gather his thoughts..himself..He realizes he is getting more and more drawn towards her...and he is unable to control it...his eyes go searching for her and he does not know Why?
She is perplexed too...as to why he is always there to help her when she is in any sort of trouble...she is extremely uncomfortable about this sudden awkwardness between them too she does not know why?
Just then a security guard comes to escort her to the party....
She gets out of the car and looks at him...just then he turns to look at her...
They look at each other..
She keeps walking and stops as if to tell him something..
He looks at her waiting for her to say something..
She walks away quietly....as he looks on...
No words exchanged between the two...but so much conveyed....
48 hours ago, Damini Gujaral would have walked away from him without giving him a second glance irritated by his presence..
Now she walked away turning and reassured by his presence...

Now his eyes follow her to safety....
