Friday's Updates

Karpagam is crying to the gods in the prayer room. She pleads with the others to take her to the hospital. Sk and family leave. At the hospital, Ayya and all are still crying. The doctor walks towards the ICU and is intercepted by them. The doctor comforts Ayya a little bit before hurrying in. Ganga is being operated upon in the ICU operation theatre- she is shown unconcious and wearing a breathing mask, etc.; outside Ayya and Natchiya and Subbu cry and hug each other. Rama and Charu comfort each other. MEanwhile, the wedding group arrives. Muthu and JC rush in; Svadivu and her appatha, Saravanan, etc. all are inside and a there is a big oppari outside the ICU theatre.

Ila stands silently behind the group in tears, looking very worried. Manga tries to comfort Ila a little bit. KArthik and his mama walk in. Karthik looks worried and guilty but Kulasekaran seems to look happy. Meanwhile, inside, Ganga is struggling to breathe through the oxygen mask. OOnce more, they show everyone outside upset.

Kulasekaran sits apart from everyone else in the waiting lounge. Karthik walks up to him and asks him why he is sitting and thinking here? Karthik is not happy that their plan has failed and instead of the collector, Ganga is in danger this time. Kulasekaran says that in a way, it is good that Ganga is in this condition. <<<Sicko! 🤢 😡 🤢 >>> Kula says that once Ganga is dead, Collector has no more relation to Ayya's family and will quiet down. Ayya himself will be deeply affected by the loss; so, Kula feels they can easily chase Subu and her family out of the village and leave her begging on the roads with her other 2 daughters.

Karthik says that all of this sounds good to hear but is worried about his mom's reaction. Kula says he will deal with his sister. Karthik wonders if Ganga will really die? What if she survives? Kula says that nobody has survived after being gored by that particular bull; the bull has killed 16 people so far. Karhtik looks happy, and in the ICU, Ganga continues having breathing troubles.

Sara and VAdivu sit in another corner with her appatha. Sara feels sad that Ganga is in trouble. He thinks abpout the times when she used to call him Anna and he never listened. Both of them are sad that Ganga is in this condition after doing so much for them. Appatha starts crying again along with Vadivu.

Ilavanji is watching SVadivu angrily. She yells at Svadivu telling her that what happened was all her fault. Even though Sara tries to stop her, Ila continues badmouthing Vadivu. She says that Vadivu's bad rasi has caused harm to Ganga and worries what will happen once Vadivu sets foot into their house. Vadivu is very hurt and angry and tells Ila she will break her neck if Ila doesn't shut up soon. Ila and Vadivu fight some more. Sara intervenes again and tells his anni to remember that they are in a hospital. Ila tells him he is a pondati daasan.

Appatha cannot believe Muthu's daughter will talk like this. Ila says that she is forced to speak like this; she says that she has told Sara not to marry Vadivu so many times and now look what Vadivu's bad luck has done. From her birth, Vadivu's bad luck first caused her own parents to die and now, it has put Ganga in danger. Vadivu yells back at Ila and Ila tells her that she will deal with her once she steps into Ayya's house. Ila leaves and Appatha tells Vadivu not to go head-to-head with the whip-tongued Ilavanji. Appatha leads the still annoyed and upset Vadivu away. Sara is left standing there looking ver upset.
<<<Better get used to this, Sara. Cuz' with Ila and Vadivu together in the house, there will be no more peace and quiet! 😛 😉>>>

Appatha and Vadivu head over to meet Nathchiya and Subbu. More polambals about Ganga. Meanwhile, Vadivu and Appatha complain to NAtchiya about Ilavanji's cruel words. Vadivu cries and says Ilavanji is putting the blame on her; Natchiya is annoyed. She calls MAnga and asks her where Ila is. Manga tries to lie that she doesn't know but NAtchiya angrily demamds that Manga finds and brings Ila asap.

Vadivu cries about how upset she is; she says Ganga is like a goddess to her! Vadivu says that she will wait until Ganga is ok, she will stay at her house till then. NAthciya is impressed with Vadivu's maturity and praises her. She and Appatha decide to wait till Ganga recovers. Till then, Vadivu can stay at her appatha's and Sara can stay with his family. On an auspicious day, Ayya's family can bring Vadivu to their home.

Ila is watching a doctor stitching up a patient when Manga calls her. MAnga is tense because NAtchiya sounded annoyed but Ila tells her not to worry. Subbu leaves to go meet Ayya while Ila goes and meet NAtchiya. Natchiya asked Ila if she did say all those things. Ila says that she spoke out of concern for her mama and athai's wellbeing. Appatha says very shocked that Ilavanji is twisting her words to make it sound less severe than it actually was. NAtchiys tells Ila to watch out; she warns Ila that if her behvior doesn't iproved, she will be kicked out from her daughter-in-law position.

NAtchiya leaves with Vadivu and Appatha. Ila is fuming and Manga asks her what they can do next. Vadivu comes back and teases "Inji" Ilavanji that she looks like a inji thinna korangu... << 😉>>Vadivu leaves and Ila is left very angry.

Last scene, JC comes looking for Ayya. Both Nacthiya and Subbu can't find him. Neither can JC. Natchiya tells JC to look for Ayya outside. Natchiya and Subbu look inside the hospital. They find Ayya in a corner sobbing very sadly. Both women start weping too and try to comfort Ayya. JC too joins oppari session as all are waiting and crying over Ganga's health...

FRIDAY'S UPDATES

SCENE 1:
Ganga is knitting a sweater for the baby. Karpagam walks in and gives her coffee. Ganga asks if the sweater is nice and Karpagam say yes. KArpagam says that she also used to knit a lot of clothes for her son when she was pregnant.

After some talk, Ganga asks to go for a walk. Karpagam says ok and helps Ganga up. Both leave to walk outside in the garden. At the door, Karpagam bends down to get Ganga's slippers for her. Ganga is sad that her athai is touching her slippers. Karpagam says it's no big deal; Karpagam tells Ganga that she is like a daughter to her. Ganga is touched and happy.

Outside while both are walking, Karpagam talks about how they should talk happily and sing and everything to the baby in the stomach because the baby can hear what is being said outside. Karpagam breaks out into a story about how Krishna told his sister Subhadra about the various war tactics while she was pregnant. And even though, Subhadra was asleep, her baby, Abhimanyu was listening to it. Meanwhile, Sk and dad are happily watching Karpgam and Ganga with smiles.

Scene 2:
The bull's owner Mookaiyya is at home when his friend comes to visit him. The friend warns him that Jayachandra has been looking all over the town for him. The friend leaves telling him to be careful as JC looks very angry. Mookaiyaa tells his wife to say he's gone out of town if JC asks. Just then, JC approaches their street on his bike. Mookaiyaa hides and his wife goes to wash the dishes.

When JC arrives, he questions the wife. She says her husband has gone and asks why JC wants to met her husband. JC informs her about his suspicions; he says isn't it very strange that her husband's bull which was supposed to be 10 streets away escaped and happened to just run over to the Colector out of all the people. JC warns the wife to inform her husband; he says he'll beat the truth out of Mookaiyya and find out who s responsible.

After JC leaves, Mookaiyya is worried about what to do. He is scared JC will kill him if he doesn't tell the truth. But, he is also scared to tell the truth because then, Kula will kill him. Mookaiyya's wife tells him to go see Kula and ask him for help. Mookaiyya leaves.

Meanwhile, JC meets an old man on the road. The old man asks him why he is here. When JC explains, the old man says that Mookaiyya has not left town since he was at the tea-shop just a while ago. JC explains his suspicions. The old man says that he noticed that Mookaiyya had more money than usual lately. JC tells the old man to keep what he said a secret and leaves.

Scene 3:
More Ila-Vadivu fighting

Ila is looking for Vadivu on the Friday morning. She is annoyed that Vadivu is reading the english paper instead of helping out with the household work. Both women fight a little bit about Vadivu's newspaper reading habit and Ila's illiteracy. Vadivu asks Ila what she wants her to do. Ila brings Vadivu to the pooja room and Vadivu prays. Ila tells Vadivu she is not her to give a tour of the house; Ila tells Vadivu to clean up the pooja room and leaves. Vadivu prays to the goda to save her from the fat kattirika, Ilavanji.

Natchiya is looking for Vadivu;Ila tells Natchiya that Vadivu is cleaning the pooja room. Nacthiya tells Ila to help her since Vadivu is to the house. Ila complains that Vadicu is lazy and has only been reading the paper since she was up. Natchiya tells Ila that Vadivu is educated and just wanted to stay informed of the news. Natchiya tells her not to be so strict and go help. Ila is annoyed that Natchiya is supporting the other daughter-in-law but goes to help.

Ila is shocked that Vadivu is about to light the pooja lamp and stops her at once. Ila warns Vadivu that lighting the pooja lamp is only Ila's job. The two argue some more and Ila orders Vadivu to go to the kitchen to wash the dishes. Vadivu storms off, annoyed. Ila then freaks out that Vadivu is going above and beyond her duties. She is scared that tomorrow, Natchiya will give the bureau and safe keys over to Vadivu. Ila prays to the gods to save her from the tall kokku, Vadivu.

Again, fighting as Ila walks to the kitchen to see Vadivu starting to heta up the milk. Nacthiya hears the fighting and stops the two of them. Both Vadivu and Ila complain about each other to Nacthiya with a lot of pointing and glaring. Natchiya tells Vadivu not to mind Ila; she says Ila is the eldest daughter-in-law and has equal rights int he house. Natchiya advises Vadivu to come talk to her if there are any problems.

Then, Natchiya tells Vadivu to go see if Sara was awake. Once Vadivu leaves, Natchiya adivces Ila that both daughter-in-laws have equal rights in the house and should share responsibilities instead of fighting over it. Ila looks unhappy and starts to complain once Natchiya leaves. She vows to make SVadivu unhappy.

Scene 4:
Mutharasi finds out about Kula's murder attempt

Mookiyya meets Kula at the rooftop of Kula's house and tells him about JC's threats. Muthu overhears the conversation when she is climbing upstairs with a jug of water. Muthu is horrified to hear that Kula attempted to murder the Collector and even more shocked to hear that Kula is unhappy about that the bull didn't kill Ganga. Kula tells Mookaiya to leave town immediately for a month and gives him money. Mookaiyya agrees and leaves. Muthu is standing looking angry and shocked and upset. Screen shows flashbacks of the bull hitting Ganga and freexes on Muthu's face.

Thanks for letting me know about the new year program Anjali dear. Hoping the show won't air and I am out this week - out of Pambu Kadithal lesson and Maadu muttum lesson etc...

Hiya - No serial today - Escaped from all animal lessons.
