Saumya Tandon is an Indian television actress and was also seen in Jab We Met by Imtiaz Ali where she played the role of Kareena Kapoor's sister Roop.

Saumya Tandon was born on 3rd November. Her father Dr B.G.Tandon was a professor of Vikaram University in Ujjain and is also the Head of the English Department. He has written many English Literature books on different branches. She finished her schooling from St.Mary's convent,Ujjain. and loves Jagjit Singh's music and loves poetry.
She has also acted in a short movie by a Canadian production house opposite Khalid Siddiqui.
