9th March 2010, Tuesday – Update
Simi comes back to the dhaba. She thinks about seeing her brother anuj keeping anita's kangan at a shop for loan. She wonders why Anuj did that, n why he needed money.
Abhi sees Simi back… he stops her from going inside their room. Tells her there is a surprise for her and she has to wait sometime for it. Simi gives a smile to Abhi ..she says she will go and finish some job and come back.
Omi tells Nitu that he had spoken to a very good gynecologist and taken appointment for her. Asks nitu be ready the next day morning and says he will go along with her.
Nitu couldn't believe Omi's reaction. She asks him why he is doing all that for her. He says he is doing this for her becoz he loves her. He says he very well knows that nobody will love him or live with him. Nitu is uncomfortable listening to him.
RS is worrying about how to arrange the money for tax payment. He remembers how almost everybody turned him down for loan. Mili comes there and gives him the cell…says its from Simi. He hesitates to answer the phone. He doesn't want Simi to know about his present problem. But he answer the phone finally. She asks him how everything at home is. He says fine. Then she asks him why anuj has to sell anita's kangan if everything is ok…she says hearing his voice she can sense that there is something wrong. RS feels so sad n happy at the same time..thinking about how well his daughter knows him.
RS tells Simi that Anuj has lost his job… and excuses himself n disconnects the phone…he is scared that Simi will somehow guess the real problem if she talks to him any longer.
Anita screams for Manju ji…calls her inside. Everybody rush inside. Anita tells them that she couldn't find her kangan given by her mother. Manju says there is no way nybody can steal them. RS knows what happened with the kangan. He asks Anuj why he had to take Anita's kangan without asking her, and why he had to keep thm with some money lender. Anita tells them that she completely forgot that Anuj took her kangan.
Anuj says he did that to help his father…so that he can pay the tax for the shop. RS starts yelling at him…asks him how can he do such a disrespectable thing…n says he is ashamed of him. He says he can never be like his daughter Simi. (1st time RS words the way he treated his son made me angry…I think that's not the way to talk to his son. He shud have appreciated at least his concern towards him…instead he yelled at Anuj n insulted him…n compared to Simi. That's not good…in my opinion…)
Anuj gets hurt…and goes inside to his room..Anita tells RS that whatever Anuj did its just becoz he wanted to help his father…thn she goes behind anuj.
Anuj cries…he asks Anita why cant his father understand his good intentions. Anita adds ghee to the fire…she says his father will never be happy with him n he will always lose competing with his sister Simi. Anuj too agrees with that… He says that he has decided that he will never ever try to do anything for his father, but will do things only for himself. Anita is happy..coz that's what she always wanted.
Door bell rings at karol bagh house. Mili opens the door and gets a shock of her life by seeing RB there. RB greets Mili n Manjuji so casually. RS comes there and asks him why he came to their place..n how dare he is. Anuj comes out from his room, n says he called RB to their house. He ignores other family members and welcomes RB . Asks him to proceed to the terrace and tells him that he will follow him with some things. He then takes a liquor bottle and water and goes up. RS n others are shocked to see Anuj's behavior.
Manju asks anita what kind of work Anuj has with a person like RB.
Simi goes back to the dhaba after talking to her father. Abhi gets excited to see her back..he closes her eyes and takes her into their room and opens her eyes. The room is decorated beautifully with all the simple things which are available. Simi is so happy to see that…
Then Abhi plays a beautiful romantic hindi number from his cell… and he asks her to dance with him. Simi happily obliges…but she is not able to forget about what she came to know about her brother's job.
Abhi says he wants to make that evening so special for Simi…n wants to make it as a best romantic night for her. He tells how much he loves her.. Simi tells Abhi about her brothers job. (why she has to spoil everything…why she wants to spoil all Abhi's efforts). Abhi jokes…and says he too doesn't have a job…n there is no need to worry so much about it.
RS is angry n fuming… he asks Manju how can their son call a person like RB to their house…how can he trust such a fellow. He says RB is involved in so many illegal businesses…n anuj shouldn't trust such a fellow. He decides to go up and talk to his son…
RB n anuj are drinking on the terrace. RB asks Anuj whether he has applied for bank loan or not.
Anuj says how can he approach any bank for loan… and which bank will give a loan to a jobless person. RB says he can keep his father's Kaol bagh house as guarantee and get a loan. Anuj tells him its not possible becoz his father has given the house to his three sisters.
But Bhalla guy says he needn't worry about such things, n asks him not to worry as long as he is there…n he will help him.
RS overhears all this conversation….n is shocked!
Tomorrow:
Shocked RS tries to come down from terrace ..but slips and rolls down….
