Naman Shaw who plays Prabhakar in Sony's Jeet Jayenge Hum has decided to bow out of the show. It is believed that he is unhappy with his track being sidelined and has discussed it in length with the producer and creative team of the show.
After the discussion both Naman and the creative team have mutually decided that Naman can opt out of Jeet Jayenge Hum. Naman was roped in as lead but he hardly had anything to do. Naman waited for some time but when he felt that things were not improving he conveyed this to producer Benaifer Kohli.
A source informs, "Yes it's true that Naman is unhappy with his track and now his track will be put on hold. To compensate Pawan Shankar (Manas) has been introduced in the show as parallel lead. Naman and the creative team have mutually decided that Naman is no more bound by Jeet Jayenge Hum and he can take up any show that comes his way".
The source adds, "As of now Naman is not leaving the show but he will be coming on-screen on and off, whenever required. But as soon as he finds a new show, the creative team will have to wind up his character".
Currently the show has Suman (Sana Sheikh) and her family living with Manas (Pawan Shankar) who has been protecting them from the evil Yadav. Moreover, Suman is the only witness of the crimes that Yadav has committed and hence she is protected so that she can be used as a witness in court. Prabhakar is searching for Suman and her siblings and will not be seen for some time.
Another source requesting anonymity says, "Yes Naman is leaving the show and the creative team is planning a few plots to wind up his character. But it will take some time for Naman to leave the show".
When called Naman said, "I am not allowed to comment on this and I think the producer and the creative team are the best people who can answer your questions".
Benaifer Kohli the producer of the show said, "Naman is not going anywhere and he is the star of the show. Infact I am in a meeting and we are discussing about his track".
