The current track surrounding Riddhima and Sid correctly depicts social prejudices of today, where a purported assault on a woman conclusively renders the male guilty. A precarious solution to a simple cry for help.

Just for the record, this does NOT imply that the woman is always mistaken, but it definitely suggests that where there is no evidence; wrongful accusations should not be made, which applies to BOTH Riddhima and the idle bystanders at the hotel in today's episode.

Riddhima's resentment has caused her to baselessly and zealously humiliate Sid on the pretext of him assaulting, molesting and kidnapping her. And yes, I emphasise the fact that she was in a bad mood when she met him which is why she was indifferent to any justifications he had to offer. The fact that he touched her was an unquestionable "accident" but this meant nothing to her. She apparently holds herself to be an expert when it comes to analysing behavioural quirks. Riddhima has come so far as to say that she "can tell what Sid's intention is by just looking at the expression on his face". wow.

Riddhima's maturity seems to have detached itself from her alongside the bullet that wounded her 9 months ago.  Even a pep talk with her father, Dr. Shanky, failed to clear her head of the erroneous theory she had come up with.  Surely, a medical intern would have been checked for a criminal record so how could Sid possibly be of such adverse nature, if not before then Sid has definitely aquired it  by now due to the numerious encounters with the police in the last few weeks. Furthermore, Yuvi almost managed to set fire to Sanjeevani so we won't talk about background checks here.

How about family ties? If you hated someone, then you found out they were a sibling to one of your best friends your heart would soften towards them? Or maybe instead of despising, one would stand to endure the person? Abhi has been expunged as a saviour for Sid, since Riddhima has had Sid incarcerated twice, and even stood to watch the brutal and unprovoked pugnacity of the police on the second occasion. Notably, even this did not play on her conscience once. She sauntered into the police station and even retorted to Sid that she had got him bail. You got him there in the first place sunshine...

Sid's perseverance is commendable, after constantly being attacked by Riddhima, he adds credibility to himself both personally and professionally due to his concern for TJ. He said so himself, had he kissed Riddhima in that BB match she wouldn't have had the nerve to face him again the next day. Undoubtedly, Sid did rescue Riddhima from embarassment and jeers of the crowd had he kissed her in the BB court that day.  On the contrary, Riddhima percieves Sid's rejection as a counter-attack on her reputation and thus continues to denounce him absentmindely.

Its like watching a tennis match, the ball is in your court,  an eye for an eye etc etc.  Not even the slightest indication of a resolution, war has been waged between the two parties and things continue to turn nasty. Sid and Riddhima epitomise the theory, "Loha Loha ko kaat-tha hai". As Sid prints out the photographs of the alleged relationship between he and Riddhima, it never once crosses his mind that he is tarnishing his own reputation, nor does he care if its at the expense of costing Riddhima her own. The only time someone has actually bothered with materialistic evidence and alas its fabricated!
This was infact the straw that broke the camel's back for Sid which is why it is the first time he has gone to such lengths to damage Riddhima's ego and arrogance and it doesn't surprise me whatsoever. Until Riddhima realises that she's wrong this is neverending....

WAKE UP RIDDHIMA!

LOL .well said.I was thinking the same thing.Has she lost the power to think or what? Why is rids punishing Sid for the mistakes that he didnot even made?I think after she was shot, just lying there in the bed rusted her brains and she developed some kind of mental disorder of fabricating things that didn't even happen.

Well-said. And you are absolutely correct. Riddhima has a lot of bitterness and angst inside her. Whatever happened with her has not only made her close the doors of her heart but blocked her mind as well. For her, Sid in a way symbolizes Armaan's supposed rejection of her.... how Armaan in the initial days used to compare her to the hotties around ....that bruising of her womanhood never left her , not even after she and Armaan fell in love. So, the second Sid called her unattractive and undesirable , everything came back gushing to the surface....

Riddzie's mind and heart are rusted as Ayesha rightfully said. She needs to start living and thinking AGAIN....and for that she needs some major jolting and Sid is only doing what she did to him.

I side with Sid. He is a respectable human-being. Not a punching bag.
