Written Update:- 10th December 2009= Ek Side Pyaar, Doosre Side Judaai; HDHAA
Part 1
Avi and Tappu are having their walk. Avi says she will never forget the days she spent with him. She says God makes the jodis. Varun sees an ice-cream parlor and says that since they started their relationship with a date, they will end it with a date too. Tappu tells the man to make falooga. Avi asks him whether eating in the road wont be like downmarket. Tappu says human beings make all this downmarket, upmarket. Avi asks him about his future plans. He says he wont get married because a person lives and dies only once and love too. Even marriage happens only once. He has got a love and that's his life. Avi asks him whether he will ba happy so he says he will make his family happy and that makes him happy. He tells her that their love was not for life but the moments which they went through are forever and make him happy.
The stall-guy gives them their ice-creams. Avi is thinking.
Adi says that sometimes life gives them such bitter experiences. He talks about Tappu. He thought he was under the pretext that Tappu was really lucky because he got the lady he loves. But now he knows that Tappu has been living a small life. He says that he always punished himself and got angry with Rajshree. He told her to forgive him because he has troubled her a lot. He says that after Mallika rejected him he was devastated and closed his eyes and couldn't see her love. He used to think wrong things happened to him and never thought how much he has hurt her. Now that this has happened to Tappu, he has realised how important and valuable Rajshree's love is. Now when he is going to lose her he has realised what her importance in his life is. Rajshree closes his mouth and Adi removes it. He says that by doing that the truth is not going to change that they have lost the case.
He says he doesn't care if such things happen to him but only the fact that when she was close to him he never realised the importance of her love and now when he has realised the importance it is time to separate from her. He holds her hand and says that he is ready to bear the punishment, thinking that there is someone who is waiting for him and the love for him wont go down. He asks her whether that will be the case. (BTW:- They are holding hands). She reassures him. O re pia song comes and Adi wipes off her tears. Rajshree is about to go when Adi holds her hand. He suddenly lets go of her hand and holds out his hands to hug her. She hugs him. (FINALLY! I'm so glad Adi has realised, atleast...cho chad HDHAA is actually getting over😊😭) Rajshree cries and Adi closes his eyes. SUCH AN AWWWW MOMENT GUYS!!
Avi is going to go home when Anu stops her. She gives her the Ganapati moorti and tells her that when you are starting a new life it is very important to take his name. She tells her that she is starting her new life and shoudl keep it with her. She tells that all these days she lived as the bahu of the house and took part in their happiness and sadness and took care of all the responsinilities. Even though she didn't have a good relationship with Tappu she behaved well with them. These are the memories Anu wants to remember of Avi. Anu says that the bitter memories and happy memories are there and she knows which to choose. She wants Avi to be happy wherever she is. She blesses Anu and walks away. Avi cries.
Viraj is waiting for Avi when she comes to the restaurant to meet him. He is very happy that she has come. Viraj knows that Avi has the answer and wants to hear it from her voice. He has planned their life together. He says they will live together in London. She has all the relations here. Viraj says all these are problems and only they two will be there in London. He says that she can keep in touch with all relatives through phone. And no family to trouble them in London.
Part 2
Avi asks Viraj whether he will be happy without his family. He says that there is no responsibilities without them. She thinks how alike they are but their thinking is so simple. Viraj says that family is not necessary. Avi says that family is important for everything. Viraj says that if that is the case she should stay with her family. Avi runs out crying. Viraj tries calling her but she cuts the phone.
He once again tries and she lifts. Viraj begs her not to cut the phone. He apologises her for saying that. He says sorry and asks her to forgive him. She says its okay and he is unable to believe it. Viraj is relieved while Avi is lost in thought.
Part 3
Avi is packing all her things when Varun enters. He is having a paper in his hands and is crying. He says it is the divorce papers and he has signed it and asks him to sign it. Then she will go from his life forever. He says she has nothing to worry about and can do whatever she wants and meet whoever she wants and no responsibilities. He says she is free. He tells her to be happy and says that in her happiness only Tappu's happiness will be there. He hands over the divorce papers to her. She takes it hesiatignly. Tappu goes from there.
Avi is thinking and is wondering what to do.
Pre-cap:- Kokila behen is saying a beautiful life is waiting for her. Her dream man is waiting for her. She asks her to remove the mangalsutra and throw it away. Avi clutches onto it so Kokila Behen asks Tappu to take it off and throw it away. He approaches Avi who is crying and begging him not to do this with her eyes. (Thanks:- fern and bollywoodcrazed)
