30th Nov 2009: Monday – Update
Nakul cousin of Abhi, prospective groom for Simi comes to Sethi's residence. He says sorry to Manju for coming to their house unannounced. Abhi is very much worried seeing his cousin there, and thinking about the reason behind his visit.
Manju asks Abhi to give company to his cousin and she goes inside to prepare some nashtha for him.
Abhi is very uncomfortable in his cousin's presence…Nakul insists that abhi calls him bhaiyya…
He asks Abhi whats the full name of Simi…Abhi says he doesn't have any idea…and goes inside to find out.
Nitu is crying holding her sister…explains why she wants to commit suicide. Simi scolds her for her stupidity.. tells her her death will not solve any problems, says in fact, her suicide attempt will put their parents in much deeper problems.
Nitu cries, and asks her sister what she should do then… Simi asks her to keep quiet…and not to tell anything about her and Vicky to any other soul. She tells her that after some days she will take her to gynac to find out whthr she is pregnant.
She tells Nitu that she shouldn't try to find Vicky at all… Meanwhile, she asks Nitu to help her mother and listen to her…atleast for some days till Manju forgets her anger.
Simi turns towards the door, and gets shocked to see Abhi there.
He asks Simi whats her full name.. Simi is surprised with the question; n tells him that it is "Simi" not "Simran".
Nitu walks away from the room. Abhi says he needs to talk to Simi urgently…They both go into the balcony/terrace.
Abhi informs about Nakul, his cousin.. tells her that he is at the moement in the house to see Simi. He says he is scared of this rishtha, becoz Nakul is not anything like Rajiv Bhalla, and her parents might like him. He says Nakul is good-looking, and a very good person…in fact its him who taught him bike riding, car driving etc when he was young. So, he feels that there is no reason for her parents to not to like him.
He says he doesn't want to lose Simi under any circumstances… but expresses his doubts in talking to her father about them. Simi tells him that its necessary for him to talk to his parents too… and says they shouldn't be meeting each other secretly.
Abhi says he will talk to his parents…but he says what if her parents like this Nakul guy…
Simi asks him not to worry so much; there is always a chance that Nakul rejecting her.
Manju asks Nitu to go to the sweet shop and get some snacks for Nakul. Nitu goes out.
Rajender Sethi is home. Nakul offers some home made sweets to Rajender n Manju.
Manju asks Nakul to sit, tells him that she will call her daughters.
Rajender stops Manju n says there is no need to call his daughters out…asks her to make just tea. He says he has to talk to Nakul before.
Rajender explains abt how in the last minute he cancelled her marriage with Simi. He says, he wants to tell Nakul everything about it, before anybody says anything.
Nakul tells him that he already knew about everything…and he doesn't have any problem with that. Rajender n Sethi feel so relieved.
Anita and Anuj come there. Rajender introduces his son to Nakul. Anita says she n Nakul used to play a lot when they were lil kids. She complements Nakul, says he is looking very handsome.
She goes and hugs him. Sethi parivar as well as Nakul get so uncomfortable.
Nakul says Anita's not changed… says she doesn't know how to behave like an Indian girl.
Anita says its 21st century…she cannot be old-fashioned.
Nitu is going to the sweet shop…Suddenly.. she sees Vicky near a car…She runs towards the car crying… But as she reaches the car, he is nowhere to be seen. She thinks that its her imagination. She cries. Vicky is really there near the car..hiding from her, standing behind the car. He gives an expression as if he is helpless, and cant meet her..
Nitu gets back home with snacks, she drops the bag she is carrying when she sees her parents n Nakul in the drawing hall.
Rajender asks her to be careful. Manju introduces Nitu to Nakul. Nitu runs inside without saying anything. Manju says sorry for her..
Nakul gives them his visiting card…says he has to leave. Asks them to think whthr he is suitable for their daughter or not. Says he is haapy to meet them. With that he leaves their house.
All other family members, including Abhi come into the hall… Anita asks them if Nakul has left already. She says he is very stubborn, but very caring and ambitious. Tells them that he is very dependable. Abhi feels very comfortable.
Anuj says Nakul is lil old-fashioned…n not suitable for Simi.
Mili says she hasn't seen him…but heard him. She feels he is very honest. And says its completely Simi's choice if she likes him or not.
Rajender says he too believes that Nakul is very honest and good…but that cannot be deciding factors for deciding about the Simi's rishta with him. Says they have just met him..n Simi hasn't even seen him so they shouldn't jump to ny conclusion n take decision.
Manju asks Abhi, as he knows Nakul from his childhood what he thinks about him, whthr Simi will be happy with him…
Abhi is totally tensed up….he just stares at them blankly…
Everybody is eagerly waiting for his answer.
Tomorrow:
Manju n Simi are in the kitchen. Manju says she has scolded Nitu a lot in last two days…
Says that she thinks Nitu found a guy for herself…who is giving her very expensive dresses. Simi is worried….
