Ranbir hides and Madan takes Rukmi. Rukmi is angry at Gheesu for telling Ranbir where she goes. Rasal says why didn't you show the burn to get rid of him? Rukmi didn't show him her burn as she doesn't like to upset people. Deep is brought into his room drunk.
Morning. Ranbir comes and Deep wakes up. Deep lies about yesterday night and Ranbir goes. Ranbir meets his Mama (Sumer) who tells him they have business with English people but Ranbir manages to not go. Dhapu tells Rukmi off for not making murtis.
Sumer shows the english the land for a hotel but Madan comes and scares them off his land. Madan goes to Bhavar Singh's home (Ranbir's dad), argues with them and leaves.
Gheesu is upset with Ranbir but Gheesu tells Ranbir to ask for forgiveness from Rukmi. Ranbir goes to the river and apologises to Rukmi but Rukmi hides her face from him. Ranbir says he won't go and so Rukmi shows him her face.
