Recap :: Meera apologizes to villages as she couldnt get the dhan, villagers(ladies) offer their jewelery to get some grains, Rajmal sends grains but they are all spoiled. Vikram is informed by keshav that there will be no rain for next 2 months(or yrs not sure lol), Vikram asks villagers to bring their land papers. Vishnu hears the news n commits suicides by hanging himself
Update ::
- Villagers are talking about committed suicide as they know there will be no rain, Meera convinces them by saying that there will be rain n have faith in god. Villagers say that they will wait until 2morrow afternoon if there is no rain then they will have to commit suicide.
- Vikram, udabai, and choti kunwari(vikram's mom) are at a gathering (party!) when a sipahi comes and informs vikram that vishnu has commited suicide. Vikram is happy hearing this but keshav is not so happy, Vikram says to keshav that thanks to him everyone is distracted from meera now as he gave the news that there will be no rain.
- Keshav tells vikram that vishnu was his brother. Vikram says that there is no relation in politics.
vikram says one should think of themselves and noone else, n keshav should celebrate. Keshav is thoughtful. - Meera says to lalita that she will not eat, drink or move from her place until krishna makes rain!. She says that vilagers faith has been shaken in her krishna n she needs to prove that he exits. She starts singing her bhajans and villagers are shown restless. Keshav is also crying. Meera sings until the morning.
- Rajmata and kunwari are worried about meera. Kunwari says meera is disgracing everyone. Rajmata says its vikram who is disgracing and meera is actually helping. Rajmata says they should support meera in what she is doing.
- villagers are leaving n saying goodbye to their family. Keshav makes them understand that by dieing nothing is going to change. Keshav tries his best but villagers dont listen they instead ask keshav to join them as well.. Meera's hands are bleeding by playing the instrument ( tambura!) but she is still singing and praying. Rajmata n kunwari comes and join her, so does the rest of village ladies. Keshav is feeling bad and decides to join rest of villagers. His wife stops him saying that let others die, we have enough to survive. Keshav still leaves.
- Vikram n the gang are happy( i m assuming at the fact that \villagers are dieing n its still hasnt rained yet). Villagers are about to jump off from cliff, meera is still praying and singing so are the other ladies. It ends at villagers lifting their feet to jump.
