Rukmini's brother goes to buy paint for his sister and the man takes long as he likes the Rajasthani folk song playing, her brother gets a bit angry and tells him to hurry up.
Rukmini is introduced with her family, Rukmini makes Krishna murtis all day and her mother is very mean to her.
At night, Rukmini almost falls asleep (tired from making the murtis all day as she has an order of 50) and wakes up when it rains and some of the murtis outside get ruined. Her mother tells her off for it and Rukmini stays awake to make more.
In the morning she goes with her brother to sell them, but they aren't allowed on the bus. They sit atop it and Rukmini remembers some houses burning. She goes to sell it to the man who ordered it but he doesn't buy them as there aren't 50, Rukmini only had 30ish, so instead she tries selling them to passerbys. She doesn't sell any until a man asks to buy them all for Rs 700. She goes to deliver them to him and three guys bump into her and she drops them and they break. The man tells her to bring more the next day.
They are going home and stop while Rukmini goes to drink water when the three guys are back and cause problems and her brother and other people scare the guys away.
In the night they get an invite for a Ghoomar celebration and Rukmini and her sister Rasal argue about which clothes to wear. They go to the Ghoomar and Rukmini and Rasal dance, when her mother stops Rukmini and sends her home. On her way home the three guys are back and acting very rudely and Rukmini looses her dupatta thingy and they make her turn around and we see a part of her face is burnt, which she hid throughout the episode.
