Maya di-- WE LOVED deepika in LAK....the icons in my siggy are alll my fav scenes from the moviee..she has improved so much..(thanko imli) i had some problem with LAK after watching it 4-5 times... but still loved it in some bits.... and the LAST SCENE...eeeeeekk i wanted to cry with her LOL

Oh man I have discussed LAK so much. But I loved the film and I thought Deepika was really good in the film. Definitely her best so far. I got the DVD and I was listening to the commentary and Imtiaz was all praises for Deepika. I really wish they had kept the proposal scene because it was probably one of Deepika's best after the one at Purana Qila where Jai comes back.

I loved LAK too. My most fav. from that movie is Veer-Harleen story 😳 bcoz its my kinds. I am also like that - one love always hehe LOL!!

Icing on the cake was how Jai understands the importance of love in todays times. Deepika was very good in her role. I always like her wen I see her in movies. Shes a fresh face. She brings some kind of a spark to the movie with her acting, something hatke from other actresses. Her way of delivering the dialuogues is amazing bcoz of the way she speaks them...I really love her voice :D

I have disscussed this before...but after marriage when meera calls jai and pretends to be happy ....man that was soo realll....!!!

Deepika can be a great actress if she works with some great directors and chooses her roles very carefully! i just want to see her more and more on the big screen 😳 ab yeh kisi ko torture karta hai then who cares..😳

I never knew Deeps was in Delhi since I wasnt so much into her those days I think otherwise I wud hve def. gone to the shooting places if I was aware where they were. Qutab Minar where they show is like 5-10 mins from my place 😒

I know that scene was really good Hiru. And apparently it was very hard because it was super windy there and she had to do it without Saif giving her her cues. I loved Imtiaz and Saif's commentary. Got to know so many things about the film through it.

I also really liked her in the scene on the metro right before Chor Bazaari. It actually felt like a scene right out of my life.

After continuously being on her toes for three years, Deepika Padukone has finally decided to take it easy. The actress will soon take a short break and head for a holiday to the US with her family to attend a cousin's wedding. The Padukones are looking forward to spending time with their relatives.

Deepika's close friend said, "Deepika has been working incessantly since the last three years. Also, she just broke up with Ranbir Kapoor, so the break is a welcome relief for her. She signed Om Shanti Om in 2006 and the back-to-back shooting schedules for other films left her with no personal time. Even before Om Shanti Om released, she was working on Chandni Chowk to China and Bachna Ae Haseeno. As soon as she completed these two films, she got busy with Love Aaj Kal. Recently, she completed shooting for Farhan's Akhtar's Karthik Calling Karthik and Sajid Khan's Housefull. Then, there were the cameo appearances and the endorsements, which also kept her occupied. When the rest-deprived Deepika got an opportunity to spend time with family, she immediately grabbed it."

"One of Deepika's closest cousins is getting married and she was to leave for the US last Sunday but since she had to finish a shoot, she will be leaving after a couple of days and will spend at least ten days with her family in the US. Since there is a lot of speculation about her personal life due to her break-up with Ranbir, she wants to come back rejuvenated," added the friend.

Deepika confirmed the news and said, "My brother is getting married. It is the first big wedding in the family and I am looking forward to it. I believe it is very important to make time for family, no matter how hectic one's life is."

I know Akku. I actually don't live anywhere close to where they shot really but still I would have gone. They also shot a bit in Gurgaon, Maurya Sheraton, and ofcourse Purana Qila.
