Avi's friends get busy searching Dadu's room for the letter but are caught by Dadu. They cover up by saying that they were just exercising and stretching.
Meanwhile Varun is lost in daydreams of Avi. He rings her up and they have a sweet conversation. On the other end Mallika is arguing with Adi over the phone about going to Mauritius instead of Mt. Abu. He refuses and she throws the phone down in anger before realizing that Pinkesh has arrived. He replies that he had come to say his farewell as he is leaving tomorrow morning. Mallika asks him wether he will definitely not come for the wedding.
Pinkesh immediately decides to cancel his plans and promises to say. He touches the subject of her fight with Adi and apologises for interfering but tells her that once she gets married and has children then her and Adi will settle in to a comfortable married life. Mallika looks disturbed at the idea of children and Pinkesh makes to leave but Revthi stops him and tells him to sit and talk to Mallika for a while to improve her mood.
Pinkesh sits and talks to Mallika whilst Revthi secretly takes her phone.
Back at home, Adi talks to Varun about his problem with Mallika and is annoyed that she isn't ready to adjust to his lifestyle. Varun tells him that this is also a hard time for Mallika and advises Adi to make-up with her. Adi agrees and rings her continuously but Revthi cuts his call and is happy to see Mallika chatting with Pinkesh freely.
Morning…
Mafatlal is upset that he has to close his shop for two days. Back at the house, Anu is busy with wedding preparations.
Rajshree is shown getting ready. Gajju comes in and changes his sad expression to a smile and tells Rajshree that she is looking beautiful. He tells her that he knows today is very difficult for her but if she loses hope today then so will he.
Adee finishes getting dresses as Varun comes in and asks if he talked to Mallika. Adee replies that he had tried to ring her numerous times but she refused to pick up. If Dadi had not forbidden them to leave the house then he would have gone and talked to her himself.
Avi's friends try to get another search in for the letter but are unsuccessful.
Mallika is waiting for Adee to ring. Revthi comes in with a bouquet and gets happy thinking that it's from Adi but is told that it's from Pinkesh. In the note he has sent a key for his favourite car so that Mallika can travel in it to the mandap. Revthi again tries to influence her decision about the wedding.
Dadu leads Avi to the car but stops as he remembers that he had forgotten the gifts. Kaka tells him that he has come out of the house for something good and so shouldn't turn back. Dadu gives Kaka the keys to his cupboard and Jignesh offers to come and help.
Jignesh and Kaka remove the gifts from the cupboard and whilst Kaka is busy, Jignesh takes the opportunity to look for the letter, which falls out from underneath the gift. Jigs picks it up and pockets it. They head outside with the gifts and Jigs calls the girls back with an excuse and all three read the letter.
