How Romit Raj began to believe in the unknown

Romit Raj

Romit Raj stole your hearts as Yuvraaj and Jeet in Ghar ki lakhsmi betiyann and Maayka respectively. And after his show Maayka went off-air this month, his second show too will be history. But that's old hat. So we will give you some exciting and fresh news on the actor.

Well the news is that the actor knew well in advance that the two shows would go off-air. A well-known tarot card reader had predicted that two of his shows where he plays the lead role would go off-air and that too during the same period. Well back then Romit had rubbished the prediction but when it really came true, he was shocked. The actor was introduced to her through a common friend.

Says the actor, "Well, I had gone to the tarot card reader two and a half months ago she had predicted that both the shows would go off-air sometime around August. I didn't believe her as it seemed out of the question because both my shows were doing quite well. But when the channel decided to conclude the two long running shows I was left speechless. I could not stop myself from recalling the event."

"It was precisely the same day on which we celebrated the completion of 500 episodes of Betiyann and Maayka. Imagine she actually made such a prediction on the same day and I kept it all to myself. I always believed in astrology to some extent but I always doubted the accuracy of tarot card readings. But after this incident I have started believing in the science of tarot as well", claims Romit.

But the conclusion of the shows hasn't deterred a positive Romit who has taken the outcome in a positive manner. "I thing everything happens for good. I still remember what producer Dheeraj Kumar told me when the shows were all set to end. He said that every end marks a new beginning. If these two shows have ended I am sure you will get many more shows in the coming times. I have fond memories from the two shows. Creative Eye is like an extended family and the entire team has been a great support to me throughout my acting career. Not to forget I met my dream girl Shilpa Shinde on the sets of Maayka with whom I am soon going to tie the knot", says the actor.

Hope the two new beginnings in both your professional and personal life have happy endings.
