Written Update August 18, 09

 

The epi starts with Sudha distributing sweets and meets the chudail women [Jumna] who wanted to get her son married to Dhani. She taunts sudha on getting dhani's alliance fixed and thinks it is probably to a really poor family but just then someone shouts to sudha about fixing her daughter's alliance to such a high family and gets really pissed and refuses to take the sweets from Sudha and leaves. The scene shifts to madhu and rohan who are full on buttering badrinarayan but rohan gives away their plan so badri finally asks them what is reason behind their sewa. They both reply that they want to go see their new bhabi [Dhani] .Badri gives them the permission to see her and tells then day after tom. everyone will go to see their new bhabi. The scene shifts to the main hall where all the ladies are looking at saris to buy as Dhani's shagun. Taayi tells amber's bhabi to choose the heaviest saris as it is concerned with their family status. All the ladies leave to get the sweets ready for the shagun leaving bhabi alone and just then madhu and rohan come bringing amber with them.

 

Madhu asks amber to choose a chunri for his soon to be wife. Just then Amber notices a pink chunri and remembers the dulhaniya making girl was wearing the same chunri colour and so were the dolls she made. Amber has a little bit more flashbacks of dhani and then madhu makes fun of amber and teases about his future wife while he sulks in rememberence of the girl he fell in love with [the dulhaniya maker aka dhani] . Bhabi understands amber's dilemma and explains to him that a girl leaves everything from her old life to make a new life after marriage and her husband's love is very important to her. She asks him that if the girl is making so many sacrifices for him then he must make one for her too and forget about that dulhaniya maker because if he doesn't then he will be insulting his wife's sacrifices. Scene shifts to dhani's household where kamli asks Sudha how their jeeja ji looks like. Sudha plays around with the girls and tells their soon to be jeeja is even taller than their house and he has a very big mustache. He is completely ganja and his skin is a deep shade of black and his voice is such that it is scarier than Gabbar Singhs'.😆 After hearing all these praises for their jeeja, kamli and her sister get out of their.😆

 

The scene shifts to Amber's house again and taayi is shown telling badri that everything is ready for the teej shagun for their bahu. Uma [Amber's mom] tells them that she doesnt feel its right for all of them to go to Dhani's house together because Dhani's mom is all alone and all the giving and taking will be very hard for them. Taayi comments that she cannot afford this much then how will she afford all the upcoming rasams such as an engagement and a wedding. She was planning a grand wedding her nephew and now they even have to think about going to their house a family. She tells badri that we can still break off the alliance because nothing has been fixed as of yet since they haven't actually fulfilled any of the marriage customs yet. Badri is shown thinking about it and just then they show dhani tossing and turning in her sleep thinking about what Sudha said about her soon to be husband. Sudha can sense her daughter's discomfort but she just hides her laugh and asks Dhani why she cannot sleep? Is she thinking about her soon to be husband? She then takes the joke further and goes to explain how bad his teeth her and just then dhani says she has to sleep. In the morning Sudha is shown getting everything ready for the teej rasam. Just then a car comes outside and Amber's Munish ji gets out from it asks tells Sudha that Badrinarayan has called for her to the haveli.

 

Sudha gets scared as to why they have called her to the haveli when they themselves were supposed to come. She asks munshi ji to sit down so she can make tea for but he refuses and tells her he is waiting for her outsied. Sudha is thinking about which sari to wear to her new future-in-law's house. Just then dhani comes there and asks sudha why they have called her to their haveli? What must be the reason behind it? Sudha consoles her and tells her not to worry and it must be something regarding the wedding. Sudha reaches the Raghuvansh haveli and is taken inside by the munshi ji. She sits down in the living room and is taken aback with the grandeur of the whole raghuvanch house. Just then Amber's mom, bui, and bhabi walk in and Bui introduces all of them to Sudha. Amber's Bhabi tries to touch Sudha's feet but sudha refuses and tell her she cannot let her do it as she is from the boy's side and in fact it should be sudha who should be touching her feet. Bhabi says sudha is the older one thus it is her right to touch her feet and get her ashirwaad. Amber's mom then introduces buyi to sudha and tells her that she is the one who has brought up amber. She also says that her and amber's rishta is like yashoda and krishna's. And epi ends on Sudha's face :)

 

 

Preacp:- Badri tells Sudha that there has been some changes to their program and taayi cuts in and tells Sudha that the wedding details will be looked after according to Sudha's status. [She meant that in a degrading way BTW😡]
