Part-1 (Introduction to Mafatlal family)

The Mafatlal family lives in Baroda, Gujarat, and owns a business of sarees. There are seven members in the family - Dadaji, Dadima, Mafatlal, his wife, Mafatlal's two sons(Varun/Tappu,Elder Son & Aditya/Adi Younger Son) and a daughter(Paro). Mafatlal's wife complaints him for sending Aditya to shop on the special day as Girl's side coming to see Varun/Tappu.GranMa tells Paro to get ready fast before the arrival of girl's side...The servant bets with Grandpa for Rs.100 for neglection of proposal from girl's side for Varun for 22nd time. Basically everbody in family getting ready & discussing about Varun for whom girl side is coming for wedding proposal.

Part-2 (Tappu is nervous)

Varun aka Tappu is shown getting ready & is nervous as a girl is coming to see him. 21 girls have already rejected him for lack of confidence. Everyone hopes that this time, everything should be fine. His neighbour Rajshri comes home to help with the arrangements, followed by her brother, Gajendra( Tappu's best friend).Grand Ma & Mafatlal's wife gets relief on seeing Rajshri & tells her to help Paro. It seems Rajshri is loved by everyone there.Gajendra, Rajshri's bro & Varun's friend come & shares a funny moment with Mufatlal who gets irritated.

Part-3 (Rajshri prays)

Gajendra(Neighbour & Best Friend of Varun) advises Tappu to be confident. He tells him to ignore the girl and not praise her. Rajshri(The Neighbour & Gajendra's sis)prays for this alliance to get settled, as it will clear the way for Aditya and her marriage. Rajshri loves Aditya from childhood.

Part-4 (Mallika meets Aditya)

Aditya meets a model called Mallika in a hotel and gifts her a ring, signifying his love for her. She is displeased as there is only one diamond in it. She pretends that she wants to marry him and meet his family. Aditya tells her that they will meet his family soon, and marry as soon as Tappu gets married.

Part-5 (Tappu/Varun meets the girl)

The girl comes to Tappu's place to meet him. Mufatlal being miser is not pleased with so much arrangements & above all the girl's parents seems to be greedy & eating everything being hungry.The girl & Tappu have a private conversation and Tappu gets nervous. He behaves in a weird manner, and the girl gets confused.Mufatlal scold privately to his servants for such lavish arrangements & threatens him to less his salary amount. He also prays to god to fix the relation so his treat wont go waste.

Part-6 (The girl gets angry)

The girl asks Tappu if he is interested in her. Tappu tells her that he is not, remembering Gajendra's words. The girl gets angry and leaves the house with her family. Everyone is upset. Mufatlal scold Tappu for talking nonsense in front of girl while other family memebrs supports & consoles Tappu. Tappu wonders when he will meet his life partner.

Part-7 (Avantika wishes)

Avantika in her house entertaining her friends by mimicry of her Grand father. Grand father & Avantika shares a friendly moment. Avantika's grandfather asks her to select a guy for marriage, but she avoids the subject. She declares her huge expectations from her future life partner. She wishes she could meet him.

Part-8 (Rajshri waits)

Mallika sms-es Aditya and says that she is waiting for Tappu to get married, so that they can marry soon. Rajshri is waiting for the day when she and Aditya would marry.
