July 14 update.

The episode begins with the haldi ceremony for Khemi. Khemi , Hiten and Santo are looking on sadly as everyone puts some haldi on to her. Baa and Champakali are putting haldi on her
and wishing for her happiness with Shambhu. Moti-ben comes down to the function and Baa asks her to sit down and put some haldi on Khemi .. Moti does it half-heartedly but Baa makes her
do it properly. Meanwhile, DM is looking on at the proceedings happily, twirling his moustache.. Pinakin comes and informs him that his meeting with the villagers for the land for their
new factory has been set to the day after tomorrow. DM is happy and says it's a good time as the wedding shall be over by then.. both of them look at MB apply haldi on Khemi and Pinakin is surprised. DM tells him
that he's very happy that MB agreed and came down for the function and kept her word.
It's Santo's turn to put haldi on Khemi . She walks up to Khemi who eyes her sadly. Santo puts on haldi and notices that Khemi and Hiten are constantly looking at each other.
She gestures towards Khemi as if telling her not to think about Hiten in such a manner. Khemi looks away. DM comes towards Khemi and applies some haldi to her face and gives her
some money as 'shagun' .. Santo-DM are stnading together.. she bends down to take his blessings .. and then is about to take Santo's when DM stops her and tells her that Santo is her younger sister,
and she should not take her blessings.. Khemi tells him that she's taking the blessings of the malkin, and not her younger sister. Santo gets the mock in Khemis' voice and Hiten too
looks on sadly.
The function ends..
DM calls Hiten to his room .. and asks him if Khemi and Mongi are happy at their place.. Hiten tells him that they are his guests and they are happy. At the same time, MB enters the room .. DM had called her too..
he points to the jewelery he is about to send to Khemi and asks MB to take a look .. she looks at them with a frown on her face... and then suddenly her face grows serious as she sees a particular necklace..
She is shocked and asks DM how he could send this to Khemi .. this was kept by Subhi for Hiten's bride.. DM is taken aback and tells her that only MB, Baa and he knew about this necklace and thanks
her for pointing out. MB is dis-satisfied and tells DM that even the other jewelery that he's sending, the girl is really not worth it.. DM tells her that whenever he does something, he does it whole-heartedly..
and he is related to Khemi in two ways now .. she is going to be Shambhu's bride.. and she is also his sister-in-law.. MB smirks and tells him that all he thinks about is the chokri and nothing
else .. she gets pissed off and tells him to do whatever he wishes to ..
DM sighs and tells Hiten he does not understand why MB finds such a big difference between them and people of the low caste and that he wishes
she understands that a relationship does not see all these parameters. Hiten smiles at his father. DM hands him the necklace and tells him to keep the necklace
in the cupboard properly and go give the other jewels to Khemi as they are his gift to her for her wedding and she's to wear them. DM leaves for some work .. Hiten eyes the necklace
his mother kept for his bride..
Khemi is in her room .. Hiten enters with the jewels and closes the door.. she's confused..
Hiten takes out the necklace and tells her that it was kept for his bride by his mother and tells her that she's going to wear it .. she will be his bride..
Khemi tells him that it's not possible. Hiten tells her that it could have happened had they expressed their feelings for each other long time back but even now it is
not too late and she's not yet married .. they can still make it work. Khemi tells him that she's helpless. Hiten gets angry and tells her that she'd be helpless if he had not been
by her side.. but this is what he wants.. he tells her that the other diamonds are sent by DM for her wedding as a gift.. and this necklace is her 'mother-in-law's' blessing.. he puts them on the
table and leaves angrily ..
Hiten is leaving the room when Santo is passing him..
she reminds him that Nanaji had given him a responsibility to make sure Khemi's wedding happens without any glitches and he should make sure he carries that responsiblity well ..
she tells him that he's the chote malik .. the heir to DM .. and it does not suit him and his prestige to be alone with Shambhu's bride-to-be at this hour.. that too a day before her wedding ..
Hiten tells her not to teach him about how to uphold his prestige and integrity. Santo tells him that it's now very important to remind him of his rightful place as next in line to DM .. Hiten mocks and tells her that
he came to know of DM's penchant/paranoia for his pride when he got a 18 year old girl in the place of his mother and tells her not to plead to him giving him DM's sake or the sake of being a Mahiyavanshi. Hiten
leaves.. Santo is upset..

Khemi is looking at her necklace..
Santo comes and Khemi walks away .. Santo tells her that she knows she's angry with her but she never wanted this to happen and she is in a very big dilemma at the moment .. she is torn between
her love for her sister and her duty .. and that's why she erred.. she asks Khemi to forgive her. Santo reveals that because of her dilemma, she told Nanaji everything .. Khemi is shocked.. Santo tells her
that Nanaji reminded her that she is also a malkin and asked her to decide like a malkin. Khemi taunts her and asks her if she's a malkin now.. Santo firmly tells her that she is .. because she needs to take
a decision .. and she has already taken one.. she takes the necklace and puts it on Khemi and tells her to accept it as a gift from her and prepare herself for the wedding. Santo leaves. Khemi is happy..
she thinks that Santo may not know that this necklace was meant for Hiten's bride.. but feels Santo will help them now ...
The village women are singing in the aangan when Jhamku comes in with her luggage. She goes to baa, Baa asks her where she was all this while? Jhamku tells her that she'd gone home to get her clothes and since there was a wedding being held, she wanted to get some fancy clothes as well. Baa tells her to go in and keep her things in soon as there is a lot of work left to be done. Shambhu's parents come there for another rasam, which involves giving khemi jewels. Jhamku goes into the servant's quarters and takes her potli out to keep her clothes in when she realises that the ghungroo is not there. She questions Champakali if she took something from her potli. Champakali immediately gets offended and tells her that she dint touch her things. She tells Jhamku that benbaa had come in a few days ago, but why would she take something of hers? Jhamku looks thoughtful.
Taru is sitting in her room, melancholy music playing in the background, looking at the photo's of her dancing days. Jhamku comes in, offering her Kesar milk. Taru gets furious and knocks the glass down. She asks her from where she got the ghungroo? Jhamku tells her that she will be knowing from where she got it, but she didn't have to steal it. Taru threatens her with dire consequences if she opens her mouth and asks her to leave. Jhamku tells her that before that she'll have to talk to her brother first (blackmailing Taru). Taru gets scared, goes to the cupboard and gets some money out and offers it to her as the price of her silence. Jhamku takes out a rupee and gives it to her tells her that she's giving a rupee more than what she offered, and asks her to keep her money. She tells her that don't keep a small person's price so low. What they are lacking in monetary funds, they have in pride. They have a lot of pride and you wont be able to buy them out. Taru looks stumped. Jhamku also tells her that as long as she's in the house, her secret is safe, and if she's thrown out of the house, the secret will come out with her. And jhamku leaves. Taru is stumped.
Khemi is sitting in her room, feeling very happy that Santu gave her the necklace. She thinks that Santu knew that the necklace was meant for Hiten's wife and hence by giving her the necklace has shown her support of Hiten and Khemi. She's very happy. Santu comes in and tells Khemi to come down as her in laws have come there for the rasam. Khemi is confused and tells her that she already gave her the jewel na? Santu tells her that this is done by the in laws only and that they have come there, and asks her to come down. Khemi asks her what was the necklace she put on her then? Santu tells her that it was a gift for your wedding. Khemi confused meekly follows her down.
Khemi is brought out to the aangan by santu and she is seated. Her m-i-l comes forward to put the necklace on Khemi. Khemi removes her pallu(which was covering her neck till now) and Subhadra's necklace is visible to everyone present. Hiten, who is line maroing Khemi is overjoyed seeing that and gets tears of joy in his eyes. Santu who is observing the both of them is confused. Taru, comes there and is shocked to see Subhadra's necklace on Khemi.
Khemi is sitting in her room, when Taru barges in. She asks her why she is wearing that necklace? Khemi is confused and tells her that Malik gave that as a gift. Taru tells her that there is no way her brother would have given her that necklace and tells her that it is meant for Hiten's wife and it's a khandaani jewel. She asks her who gave it to her? Khemi tells Santu did, but maybe by mistake she must've given it to her. Taru furious tells her there was no mistake involved, she must've done it on purpose. She snatches the necklace from her neck and goes storming down.
Downstairs Santu is arranging something at the table when Taru comes marching in and asks her why she gave that necklace to Khemi. Santu tells her that it was DM's gift. Taru tells her that this necklace is Subhadra's and no way Naanka would have given this to her sister, its her fault only. Santu is shocked and tells her that she dint know that it was Subhadra's. Taru tells her to stop acting now, and tells her that she has committed a mistake and that Naanka punish her for that. Santu looks worried.
DM is reclining in his arm chair when Taru comes barging in and holds out the necklace. DM asks her what she's doing with subhadra's necklace? Taru tells her that it is Subhadra's no more and that Santu gave it to her sister. She went and she gave what DM and Subhadra had rightfully set aside for Hiten's wife to her sister. DM grows more and more angry with each word.
