Ohhhh man! So much work for us.

Unfortunately, it is illegal in Amurrica. You have environmental activist and one of my heroes, Rachel Carson and her book, Silent Spring to thank for that and to later increase the public's awareness on environmental issues for the EPA to be established.
But I think it is still legal in countries that have more widespread malaria cases as well as other mosquito-related diseases such as the ones in South Asia.

Hey Chand!

Oh, immaturity amongst the older generation, I agree dude. They think they are always right and it's worse when they turn to fandom! Thank god no one I know is like that.. my mom just hates Abhishek Bachchan, but that's all. 😆😆 No crazy fans well, unless you consider me crazy.

These people need to be told not to get too involved into someone else's life because ultimately, you are you and they are them.

i get u nimmi!
i hate when ppl retort to getting personal just becuz they are not smart enough to argue back..

True, there are two sides of a coin. I mean I hate the whole stereotype if it bleeds, it leads, but that is true. The Onion with its fictional stories keeps me sane. Satire and friends, who make me laugh keep me sane. I think it is necessary to have a balance of things, and I think we do that here right.

LOL, yes I am aware of it being illegal. *SIGH* It can really be valuable at times when you feel like exterminating a population that is impairing the society.
On a serious note: I am glad that the awareness was brought up about it since many people tend to ingore environment. However, I had read at many places that DDT can be useful somewhat and as you said it's still legal in countries where diseases are widespread.
I would love to be an environmentalist. LOL. I want to be too many things. 😆

Haha, Chandni, we all have our strengths. When it comes to knowing pointless trivia, I am the one to call. That may be a strength or it may be a weakness when I need to rote memorize and cram, I wish some of that info could fall out to make space for new stuff.

@Kully: Why do you have to be so rational all the time? Seriously, I know you don't like hearing this. But you would be an excellent moderator. You are always fair.
