The leader asks Sumer who he is and how dare he come in the way of their village's traditions. Sumer questions these traditions as they separate lovers but he leader says that he had given the guy (forgot his name) a chance to prove his love by fighting a fighter but he lost. Sumer tells him the love is not measured by strength but by feelings and how great love is. The leader then says he'll free Padma and her lover is Sumer beats their fighter and Sumer agrees. The leader then notices Sunaina and asks how she is and Sunaina replies saying that she's Sumer's fiance. The leader than says that if Sumer wins, then Padma and her lover are free but if he loses, Sunaina has to marry the fighter and Sumer disagrees. The leader tells the men to take Padma and the guy away but Sunaina stops them and says she agrees. Sumer tries to talk her out of it but she tells him to be quiet and says if he loses, she'll marry the fighter. All four of them (Sunaina, Sumer, Padma and the guy) are taken away to prepare for the next day.
The girl's dad tells Karang to decide who his daughter's real husband is and Karang tells Anadi and Madav that if there is one bride and two grooms, only one of them is allowed to live and asks them to decide who is the real husband. Madav tries to explain that everything had happened unknowingly but Karang says he has a way to figure out who the groom is.
Sumer asks Sunaina why she had to put herself on the line but she says she did it for the two lovers and she knows nothing will happen because God has made someone else for her. She turns to leave but Sumer holds her hand and asks if he loses but she says he won't because she has faith in her love. They keep looking at each other until Padma and the guy come They tell Sunaina and Sumer to leave and that they shouldn't risk themselves for them. Sunaina and Sumer refuse to go and say they're doing this for love and if they leave now, love will always be misunderstood and lovers will always have to go through this trial. Padma and the guy touch their feet and say Sumer and Sunaina are angels.
Badari and them arrive in Palipur and hear a guy announce the fight. Badari asks who the guy is but the guy announcing it says he doesn't know but there is a guy and a girl. Badari thinks it might be Sunaina and Sumer.
Phoolkali (this girl)'s dad tells Madav and Anadi that they have to run and whoever faints first loses and will be killed.
Padma and the guy pray to God that Sunaina and Sumer are alright and that nothing happens to them.
Sumer practices with a sword while Sunaina watches. She then tells him to rest and asks how long he'll do this and he says until he wins. He asks her why she trusts him so much as to put herself on the line and she says because he's put himself in danger so many times for her and she can trust him this much at least. Sumer tells her that he won't let anything happen to her and she says she knows. The leader comes and tells them how powerful the fighter is and show clips of him. He tells them that it's impossible for them to win and that he wonders how Sunaina will live after Sumer dies and marries the fighter. Sumer points the sword at him and tells him that the fight's tomorrow and if he says anything to his fiance, he'll kill him.
Pre-cap: Kundan and Uttara go to the fighter who grabs Kundan but Uttara stops him and tells him that she's Sunaina's sister and she wants the fighter to kill Sumer and marry Sunaina.
