As much as I started liking the soft spoken nature of Dev, his "blind" love for Radhika is getting on my nerves. He will besmirch the name of Radhika making her look like a tramp if he continues going to her room every day. Currently, it almost appears to be tilting towards adultery and that is inappropriate in an increasingly stressed world as far as relationships are concerned.
There are way too many holes in Dev's character. If he is the honorable guy he is, being "atal" in his love for radhika, he needs to sit in his room and mope around, not follow her around. On the contrary, needs to put all his focus on all the work expected of a raj Prohit- whatever that means. Instead, he is getting swindled of his money and is signing checks for amounts he knows nothing of. His speech before the Phoolbangla episode was impressive. But, otherwise, there is nothing Raj or Prohit about him except being a puppy dog making sheep eyes at a supposedly rejective lover.
What happened to the close relationship he started out with, with his grandma? They barely speak to each other. After all these episodes, why hasn't he told his grandma or his mom (whom he ranted in the rain, that he refuses to accept his marriage to Vishakha as she was not HIS bride of choice?).
Marriage- acceptable or not is a huge responsibility and it demands fiscal responsibility and social ones. I sincerely hope the script writers get serious about their job and make the dev character more solid. It is indeed a great character if handled maturely. currently it is worse than that of a teen in the throes of first love.
