Episode starts off with DM receiving a phone call from Meghna. DM asks Meghna, if she's calling as a samdhan or as a friend? Meghna says that if listens as a friend then good, otherwise as a samdhan. And asks him if he remembers what the day after is? Dm doesn't remember right away, but then realises that its her anniversary. Meghna appreciates his memory and tells him that they've organised a party and a puja and that she wants him and Santo to come there. DM tries to avoid. Meghna is having none of it, she tells him that she's bought a lot of things for kadambari, which she wants to show Santo, so they have to come. DM again tries to tell no. Meghna says that as his samdhan, she's telling him, he has to come. And hangs up. DM is left arguing with the dial tone. Taru comes there and asks him what the matter is? He tells her that 20th is Meghna and Rasik's anniversary, and they've called him and Santo and that they have to go. Taru is surprised that they've called even Santo and tells him that there is no necessity to take her along. DM tells her that its not possible and that they specifically asked her also to come, so they have to go. He tells her to go tell Santo to be ready and that they will leave in the morning.

Back at the village, Khemi sits santo down, gives her a glass of water and asks her to tell her what exactly happened? Santo tells her the entire story, how DM had got everyone gifts and how she wore the payal meant for subhadra by mistake. Khemi tells her that he got angry and said some things by mistake, but she shouldn't take it to heart. He's her husband and she should not get angry for such small things. At the end of the day, he did get her something atleast. Its good that she came home and told her about all this. All girls come from their in-laws place to their mayka for emotional support, so that they can share their worries, but she shouldn't say things like she wont go back. If nanaji gets to know, he will be very hurt. Santo says that she wont tell nanaji about this, but she wont go back till Malik himself comes to get her. Khemi looks worried at this declaration of hers.

At the haveli, Taru goes to Champakali and asks her where Santo is? Champakali says that, since malik got angry at her and yelled at her, she was upset and went to her nanaji's house. Taru goes and relays this information to DM who is upset that she went without telling anyone. Taru stresses on this and tells that, she went without telling him or her, and of all the people told champakali that she's going and went. She tells him that there is no need to take her and go. He needn't lower himself to going to her house, the house of a worker to bring back this girl and leaves. DM is left looking worried and irritated.

At Sandeep's house, kadambari is there and she's panicking. She tells him that there is hardly a few days left for her wedding and he's not yet spoken to his father or hers. Sandeep says that he was going to talk to his father today, but this contract drama happened, so he couldn't say anything. Avinash chaudhary comes there and asks him what he wanted to talk to him about? Both Kadambari and Sandeep are stunned and are at a loss of words. Avinash asks him who Kadambari is? Sandeep stutters and says that they want to marry each other. Avinash takes this quite calmly and tells him that such matters should not be discussed now, so late at night. That they will do it tomorrow. He asks kadambari, her name, which she says without including her surname. Avinash tells them both that shaadi is serious business, they have to know the girl properly, her family, her parents et all. He asks Kadambari who her father is? Kadambari slowly says Mr.Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi. Avinash keeps his emotions in check and tells Sandeep to take her home and that they'll talk about this tomorrow. Both Sandeep and Kadambari leave and Avinash is happy thinking that Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi's daughter will be his bahu.

Hiten and Nanaji are sitting outside when Dm's car approaches. Santo comes to the door, seeing the car. DM gets out of the car, and both of them are surprised to see him there. Nanaji says that he should have called him, he would have come. And yells for Santo to get him a glass of water. DM says that he wanted to give a gift to hiten, in appreciation of his excellent work, and he wanted to give it himself, which is why he came. He gives Hiten a big wrapped box. Hiten accepts it and on opening it finds his guitar inside. He's happy. DM says that on this occasion, I thought that the best gift I could give you would be the guitar. Hiten says yes it was. Santo comes with the glass of water. DM snarkily comments that he got gifts for everyone and he put a lot of thought into it, but there are some people who dint like it. Santo offers water, he declines and says that the next day was Meghna and Rasik's anniversary and that they've called them both to Vadodra. He tells her that they're leaving in the morning and asks her to come. Santo is very happy and goes with him. Hiten and Nanaji see them off and it starts to rain. They rush inside and Hiten asks where Khemi and Monghi are? Nanaji tells him that they went to the neighbouring village. Hiten tells him that he'll go get them as its raining very heavily. He takes the umbrella and leaves. Nanaji asks him to be careful.

Hiten, Khemi and monghi are walkin in the rain. Monghi is dancing and singing, getting wet in the rain. Khemi and Hiten are walkin behind her. Hiten is half under the umbrella and half out. Monghi comes to him and tells him that either he should be completely under the umbrella or out of it. This way he is not getting wet properly nor is he completely dry and walks ahead. khemi and Hiten look at each other and smile. Monghi comes back and asks hiten to play in the rain with her, hiten is hesitant. Monghi says that she'll tell banevilal, he played holi with her after all. Hiten gives in, hands over the umbrella and starts playing with monghi. Khemi is watching them both with a smile on her face. Khemi folds up the umbrella and says that she doesn't know how much longer will she be given so much of freedom to play in the rain anymore. After her marriage, she'll not have so much freedom, so she's going to enjoy all this as long as she can. All three of them play in the rain. Khemi watches Hiten with monghi and remembers all hiten has done for them, with a smile on her face.

They're back home now and nanaji and monghi are sleeping. Hiten is outside, in his vest, he's squeezing the water out of his shirt. Khemi is standing near the window and watching him. Hiten lights a fire and is warming himself up. Khemi watches him, remembering all their moments. she goes and lies down, and remembers the way he's asked her if she dint like anyone? If there was no such boy, whom she has liked? Hiten's words are going through her head, as she slowly gets up, a smile of realisation on her face. The episode ends.
