18 May WRITTEN update: Developments galore ...

The episode begins with Santo back at home after being with Mongi till she gains consciousness. Santo has her pillow and chatai in her hand
and keeps it outside the mandir and goes inside to pray to the Goddess ...

S: It is solely because of your blessings that Mongi is alright tonight .. keep the blessings intact oh Goddess. I do not
know what to do .. if I tell Malik that his son has done all this under the influence of alcohol, this time he will not spare Maulik
Bhai and neither will he let anyone take on his punishment .. but if I do not tell him, Maulik bhai will continue with his liquour consumption
and grow addicted to it .. please guide ma and show me the right path ..

Santo is preparing to sleep outside the mandir when DM walks out to her and asks her

DM: Aye Chokri, Bapuji told me that your sister fell down in the well .. how is she now?

S: She is alright .. but the doctor has asked her to rest ..

DM: That's alright .. but did she tell you how she fell in?

S: (hesitates) :

DM: I am asking you something .. answer me ..

S: She was asleep ... she did not tell me anything ..

DM: Alright .. but if you need anything, you come and tell me .. I have made all the arrangements for her
medication .. alright?

He is moving away when he stops her and asks her why she is sleeping here, outside the mandir ..

DM: You used to sleep in the store-room, right?

S: Yes but now Maulik bhai stays there ..

DM thinks about that a bit and then asks her to follow her, telling her that she will no longer sleep here ..

DM opens the door to the guest-room and is navigating her around the entire room when he stops and notices
that Santo is still standing outside the door ..

DM : Come in now .. should I invite you inside?

Santo comes inside ..

DM: There is no need for you to sleep outside the mandir, on the floor like that .. from tonight, you will
sleep in this room ... there is the light .. and there is the fan .. but wait - Why am I telling you all this? You know all this already ..
this room tends to get hot .. so open the windows if you feel uneasy .. alright .. and you come here
from tomorrow onwards..I will not come and escort you like I have tonight .. alright?

DM leaves the room and Santo is very happy that he thuoght about her and brought her to this room ..

Santo tries sleeping on the huge bed but is uneasy even when the window is open ..
She tries sleeping in different postures but is unable to sleep ..

Santo thinks to herself and tells herself that the mattress is too soft and she wont be able to sleep on it ..
She goes back to the sleeping on the floor and sleeps peacefully.

The next morning,
Hiten is sleeping on the cot while Khemi walks past him and sees the bruise on his arms because of jumping into the well ..
she goes inside and gets a lep - a traditional antiseptic to apply on the bruise.. he is sleeping and Khemi puts it on his arm ..
and suddenly Hiten wakes up and asks her what she is doing and what she has put on his arm... she tells him that she
saw the bruise on his hand and thus she has applied lep .. she asks if it is hurting him and he denies it .. there is a bruise on his back
and she puts the lep there too but it burns too much and he tells her not to put it .. she assures him that it will burn only
for some time .. but this is the best way to treat it ..

K: You are behaving as if you never had lep put on your wounds .. are you from a foriegn country?

H: No I am not .. but I keep visiting other countries...and I must admit- I have never received such a treatment for a bruise..
Have you ever travelled outside the country?

K: No I have not .. but I have a dream.. of going to somewhere outside the country, in an aeroplane .. with Nanaji, Santo,
Mongi .. and Bhoori ..

Hiten laughs at the mention of Bhoori ..

K: Why? What is the matter? I have heard that rich people take their dogs on airplanes.. my bhoori is just a little bit bigger
than a dog .. why cant I take her?

H: No no.. go take her... and yes take some mud with you too .. go make pots and sell them on the aeroplane.. you will surely make some
money ..

Khemi gets irritated and tells him that she was talking to him only because she wanted to divert his attention from his bruise
so that it does not hurt him much and tells him that her job is now done .. she goes inside and Hiten smiles to himself ..

Santo is walking outside the guest room when Moti-ben stops her and asks her with whose permission she stayed in the guest-room..
Santo tells her meekly that it was malik who told her to stay in the guest-room from now on ..

MB: You listen to one thing, dont behave like a yes-sir with my naanka .. because I am the one who issues orders in this household
so dont walk here and there like a lost soul doing nothing .. and dont move anything without my permission ..

Just then, Maulik is passing by and stops as he sees Santo and gets uncomfortable ..
MB tells him to go and get ready and reach the factory on time ..

MB: Hey .. how is your sister now? I heard she fell in .. is she alive or .. dead?

S: She got back to her consciousness a few hours later ..

MB: Oh ... so she's alive .. here take this money and offer it to the Goddes.. thank her that your sister is alive..
And listen to me .. what happened was a mistake .. my child did a mistake .. so forget the whole incident and forget the night.. live in the day
and dont you dare open your mouth in front of everyone .. because if anyone comes to know, you know what I did to you in the store-room, right?

Motiben leaves .. Santo is worried ..

Maulik reaches the factory and someone grabs him from behind and slaps him hard.. it's Hiten ..

M: What's the matter, Hiten bhai? What did I do?

H: It hurt, didnt it? And sure as heck did it hurt me .. it hurt me when someone told me that my brother ran away
like a coward.. my brother can NOT be a coward .. when you killed Mongi's cow, I understood you were scared.. so I gave you
a chance .. when the punishment was passed on to me, you kept quiet, I still gave you a chance .. I executed the punishment
that you were supposed to undergo.. and you did nothing .. I wanted you to realize that you were wrong when you saw
your brother take your punishment .. but you never seem to take the right route.. now come with me!

M: But why? What have I done ..?

H: Enough of pretending .. I have come to know the entire truth .. Mr.Mahiyanvashi is in this factory at the moment ..
do yuo want to go inside the cabin and tell him yourself or do you want to come with me?

Maulik goes with Hiten ..
Hiten takes him to Mongi and makes him apologize ... which Maulik does and leaves ..

Nanaji: Hiten, there was no need to make him apologize.. my Mongi is safe, I dont want anything else .. even if Maulik
had not come, I would have had no malice in my heart ..

H: No this was necessary to make Maulik realize his mistake and own up ..

H: Get well soon, Mongi ..

M: Are you swearing in English?

H: No .. I am just asking you to get well.. now I must go feed your bhoori .. she is hungry ..

Hiten leaves .. Khemi smiles ..

Maulik reaches home to find Santo in the courtyard and starts yelling at her :

M: What is your problem? Your sister is alright, isnt she? It is because of you that I am living in the store-room of my own
house .. and now you just go and blabber the entire truth to Hiten-bhai? Why??

Motiben comes outside hearing all the yelling and asks him to go inside and have his food while she talks to Santo ..

MB: You seem to be so simple .. is this your ploy? To go and tell Hiten everything?

S: I never told him anytihng .. when Mongi gained consciousness, even Hiten-bhai was there as Mongi told everyone
how she fell in the well ... Moti-ben, my sister is well now .. and I am happy that you love your nieces and nephews so much..
and you consider Maulik bhai as your son .. but I am sad, I am sad because you overlook his mistakes .. to the extent that you tolerate the things
on which you should reprimand him .. control these things before they go out of hand, Moti-ben ..

MB thinks for a while and then taunts Santo , telling her that she does not need to tell HER about raising children ..
Just then DM comes inside and MB gestures Santo to stay mum ..

DM: Aye chokri, how is your sister now? Did she tell you how she fell in the well?

S: Malik, she fell in the well because of Maulik bhai ..

DM: What?

S: Dont get him wrong Malik .. it was an accident .. they were playing with each other and she lost balance and fell in ..

DM : Even though it was an accident, he should have owned up .. atleast tried to save her! When Hiten jumped in the well to save
her, why could not he? What did he do? Just run away?

MB: Forget all this naanka.. her sister is alright now .. and Maulik is just a kid .. he must have gotten scared .. that's why he ran away ..

DM is going inside and then stops and looks at MB:

DM: Listen to one thing of mine, Moti-ben .. love is sweet .. and when someone loves another, the sweetness
gets transferred into our life .. but too much of anything is bad .. and too much of sweet makes a man sick ..
just like too much of love makes the future of an individual dark .. so keep that in mind .. one should not love
another so much that he forgets the basic difference between right and wrong ..

DM goes inside .. Santo looks at MB concernedly...

S: Moti-ben .. today I hid the fact that Maulik bhai has started resorting to alochol .. and if you wish, I will forever keep mum
on this issue about Mongi falling in the well .. but if in this process, Maulik falters with something more dangerous, then
God forbid but there may arise a case when malik shuns him from this house .. I know my words do not have any effect on you..
but atleast Malilk's words do .. please , atleast for a moment, reflect on his words.. and save things from detoriating ..

Santo leaves .. MB is concerned and reflects on the things just said ..

PRECAP: Khemi has a suitable prospective groom who is also a manglik .. Nanaji tells her about it and tells her that if she
agrees, there will be no problem int he marriage.. Hiten is listening to the conversation from outside..

Sukhi.. Awesome update... The first 5 minutes were just GREAT... And loved how Santo tells DM the truth, right in front of Moti...

The first 5 minutes and the last 5 were just AWESOME yaar ..

In short, half of the episode rocked .. for obvious reasons the second half didnt .. LOOL

Thanks Sukhi, I missed the first part. Awww, sweet of DM to bring his chokri in the house, next it will be his room😆 That time he will also say, no need for me to invite you in to my room, you can come on in anytime,hheeehehe😆 Maulik will never change, he is a loser.Hiten-Khemi, now wondering, what will happen with them. Motiben as usual, like Hitler. Santu is a little more brave now and speaking up, instead of crying. Moti atleast didn't hit her today, thank God! DM's words to Moti are very good today about loving someone too much and the consequences. Moti should think carefully and deal with Maulik instead of covering up for him!  Send him to a rehab and join him there too😆

DM is soo funny, ahahahhaahah!!
