Yes Naitik is possessive or maybe just madly in love

I guess that all Indian men are very possessive before marriage. This could be all because they don't know their fiance's well enough.

I was gonna say the exact same thing. I really don't think that you can justify this by saying that he is madly and deeply in love. In love, people need to give each other their space. I mean, akshara cannot just cut herself off from the rest of the world, or stop talking to any being with a Y chromosome, other than naitik...lol

I just think that he is really really old-fashioned who still, deep down, believes in old values and how women/girls are supposed to act. Remember in the "fight/argument" scene, he was like, "I've never seen a girl argue like this." So, I think in his mind, a girl is supposed to be submissive. And I think it is mainly bc of his brought-up. He is the only boy and he is like a star in his own house, like nobody dares to disagree with him.

On a lighter note, I think he is REALLY cute and I LOVE the way he stares at akshara. It is so lovey-dovey...😳

nopes i don't think its possessive but conservative and coonfused....deep down he still believes the old values although he is mordern thinking.....but since he doesn't know akshara well so he is in fear also that she might fall in love with another person and this will break his heart....

on lighter note,he is not possessive but confused thats it because he doesn't know much about akshara but yes if this continues i am sure akshara going to have alot of problems after marriage....that duffer needs to understand that once a girl is married and she wears mangalsutra and sindoor of his name no mens will come near her because there is so much strength in the beads of mangalsutra and the colour of sindoor...any mens comes near they will only address her as bhabhi or behenji or even didi....this little fact dadaji and naitik needs to learn....they still believe in old customs right and gives lectures of girls after marriage one should learn the strength of mangalsutra and sindoor rather than lecturing about how girls should be after marriage......
