Before she became a responsible citizen of the world, Angelina Jolie had the Hollywood paparazzi going wild about the tattoos that popped all over her without warning. Now it looks like our Desi Girls are catching on to the trend and inking their bodies with everything from simple to elaborate designs.

First, the beautiful Deepika Padukone surprised observers by revealing a tattoo on the nape of her neck. The tattoo simply says RK and many are interpreting this to be a dedication to her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. Then, ex- Miss Universe Lara Dutta confessed to the tattoo on the inside of her right ankle. She admitted to getting it done in Thailand while on a visit and called it the "wildest thing" she had ever done.

Joining the tattooed gang was Amrita Arora, who got her back inked with Love-Saves the Day. A line from an old Hollywood movie, it superbly fits Arora's hopeless romantic image. The actress even inspired big sis Malaika to follow suit and have the word Angel tattooed on her lower back. And it's not just the divas loving the tattoo, Malaika claims that Arbaaz was so impressed with her art that he got himself inked with the saying Love Each Other And Perish.

I loved that photoshoot of hers. I always thought it was henna though. Oddish. Anyways, I'm glad her tattoo only says RK and nothing else. lol.
