hey you all

theres been something that ive been thinking about for a while now and wondering if u could help.

you know how they say you cannot pray nimaaz with nailpolish on, i understand that... but what if u just have a base coat on .. its clear ... can u still pray nimaaz with just the base?

wen i was in paki i remember me applying nailpolish too this lil girl.. 😳

and then her mom came and told me to take if off her hands as its not "allowed" 😲😕

im muslim as well..but none has ever told me tht 😕

so ...i guess its ok! 😃

as long as no1 notices it 😆

im muslim as well and its not ok ur wuzu or gusal is not valid as u u still av somthing on ur nails buy talimul haq kitaab dat will answer ur questions nd ny queries!

it is said to make ur wudhu or bath valid .... water must reach everywhere .... so if u have polish on whether clear or coloured . it becomes a barrier for the water to reach the actual nail

so longas you do wudu or guzhl without ne makeup or nailpolish your ok, after that u may apply but if your wudu breaks then i'm a affraid you have to take it all off in order to be able to do wudu again

the reason why people say its not allowed is because it attracts attention, attracting atatntion means it gets make attention, in another you're maing yourself appeal to the opposite sex, (people who you dont know).

howver if you follow this then basically any means of fashion or even day to day grooming can be passed off as being disallowed, such as cutting and styling hair ins ucha fashion that it draws attention, wearing makeup to amke yourself looke more attractive wearing clothes that define your body, shoes ect...

hence wearing nailpolish is allowed, but you have to ensure that the environment you live or work in means that doing such a thing doesnt generate attention from unaquainted males in another words dont wear it if the sole purpose is ti get another guys attention...

so back to my original point, yes you can wear it but for me it isnt ideal as it causes probelms with doing wudu, as once you coat your nails you cannot wash the nails properly, thus u need to remove the nailpolish before doing wudu, now considering the amount fo times an avergae individual is likely to break their wudu naturally ie through going to the toilet it would get extremely annoying fi you had to keep removing and then reapplying it like 3-5 times a day.
