Arre Deewano Mujhe Pehchano in trouble?
Merely two weeks after it launched, Contiloe Films' candid camera show Arre Deewano Mujhe Pehchano is already feeling the heat from the channel. If sources are to be believed, this celeb-studded show, that launched on 2 January may have a premature end due to low TRPs. According to TAM ratings the show drew a TRP of 1.2 in the first week. The show that was expected to run for three months may soon come to an end.
A source from the production house informs, "The channel has asked the production house to end the show. Though we are still shooting today and have a bank of some 20 episodes. We don't know the real reason behind this decision to end the show but perhaps it's got to do something with the TRPs. The show is expected to breathe its last this weekend."
When contacted, Rupali Singh, of Contiloe Films said, "The best person to talk on this is Star Plus' Anupama Mondloi."
Anupama Mondloi, Star Plus' Senior Creative Director did not respond to our inquiries.
The show's cast includes some big faces from Bollywood like Gulshan Grover, Mahesh Manjrekar, Divya Dutta and some prominent faces like Mandira Bedi, Mona Singh, Yash Tonk, Shweta Keswani and Rakhi Sawant.
So let's wait and see if the show goes off air or returns next week in a slicker and shorter version.
Its also due to no elimination I guess I doono wh all shows are bent upon TRP competition !!😕
