There are a few noble and good characters on this show, but SatyanJi is truly the best. He is up there with Bapuji in terms of his kindness. Infact he and Bapuji have a great personal relationship, they hug one another when they meet. Infact it was Satyan who first suggested why shouldn't Ragini be Rajvansh bahu, before anyone dared mention such thing.
What does he do all day buy sabjis for the house. I mean any other guy would have a pride issue with that considering his elder brother Indrajith handles the business and he is more like ghar jamai. But SatyanJi is such a great guy he has such great respect for Indrajith. Today when Indrajith asked Satyan to see the pandit, he was genuinely touched by his elder brother's confidence in him to do an important job.
I loved the joke about Vasu's cooking. That cracked me up. Vasu was such a good sport and Indrajith too had a hillarious look on his face as if to say SatyanJi is right about Vasu's cooking skills. It was such a light hearted scene, the best scene between all the four elders of the Rajvansh house. Last but not least is his love for his wife Ambikaji. They are truly are the best couple of the show. He constantly praises his wife and loves her unconditionally. They never seem to fight or argue. Infact when they differed in their opinions about Ragini marriage to Ranvir at first, they had respect for each other opinions without any big drama. Even Bapuji and Kaushi can't boast of such togetherness.
