Sivagami
Mother of 5 kids. Has a lovely caring husband, brother in law and sister in law. A very soft person and easily trust everyone. Has five lovely childrens. Her BIL does not have kids and Sivagami has prayed for them and the prayers are more like as long she live she has to come to the temple in Thenni to do the prayers on every pournami. After her husband dies, left no place no go, tries her luck by doing odd jobs and finally ends up at an orphanage home. Unfortunately she will be diagnosis for heart attack and will not be living long. Despite her love for her childrens, she gives them away for adoption. Everyone is given away except the fourth daughter Sakthi. By then Sivagami somehow comes to know she will be living and when she goes to get back her children, its impossible. Sadly she leaves with Sakthi and comes to Chennai. Works at an insurance company and devoted all her life and love for Sivasakthi. Sivagami's only hope now is to meet her four children's before she dies. Will she meet her children's back?
Kathiresan (husband to Sivagami)
A very caring, hard working man. Loves his family so much. Has a brother name Chandra and his wife Janaki. Kathiresan is well respected in the village for his kindness and caring for others. But at one point, his brother starts changing and out of love for his brother, he gives away all his wealth to his brother. Leaves the house with his family hoping to provide them better future. But faith takes his life away.
Kavitha - Gayithri (Elder daughter)
Adopted by a very loving couple. Has a brother too. From Kavitha, her name is changed to Gayithri. Every year, she will go to the orphanage home to do social work. A very soft yet firm person who thinks right and does what her heart believes. Miss her mother so much, she is under the impression mother has died. Always wonders how to find her siblings. Married to Saravanan (love marriage) has a cute daughter name Divya. FIL Gunaseelan does not appreciate son for marrying his girlfriend. Normally serials potray mamiyaar kodhumai, but here end up mamanar kodhumai. 😡 He tortures her in every way he can to make her life miserable. Yet Gaya takes it but never talks back. Gaya's only hope is to find her siblings, will she be able to meet them? Will she be able to change her FIL?
Kannan (Second son)
Kannan grows up with a Rowdy Mukilan and his wife. Calls Mukilan anna. Kannan too becames a rowdy and for Mukilan, Kannan is everything, because of his dedication. Kannan still remembers his mother and siblings, cries everyday thinking about his mother and wondering where his siblings are. He somehow not knowing Sakthi his sister, treatens her for some sim card as Sakti witness a murder and the person before dying gave her a sim card. Since then, both Sivagami and Sivasakthi looks at Kannan as a rowdy. Until Kannan sees Sivagami, he does not know Sivasakthi as his sister. Upon knowing that, Kannan immediately leaves his rowdy life and tells them he is Kannan but gets insulted by them. On the other hand. Mukilan is annoyed Kannan left him and decides to take revenge on Sivasakthi. Will Kannan be able to save Sivasakthi? Will both Sakthi and her mother accept him as son, believe his Kannan?
Ponni (third daughter)
She is yet to be shown here except during her childhood times. Seems in recent track she is no longer alive. Her characher will be updated upon her entering into picture.
Sivasakti (fourth daughter)
Sivasakti is the lucky one that remain with her mother. Grown up not knowing about her other siblings. Has a best friend name Parimala and her family loves Sivasakthi a lot. Finally one day Sakthi comes to know about her other siblings and promises her mother she will find them. Poor girl, goes on lot of trouble, even witness 2 murders. On the search of her siblings, she has lost her love, Venkat. Yet, for the love and desperate to meet her siblings, she goes on with her life.
Vimala - Kanchana (Youngest)
As a baby she was given away to Rajashekar baby. Grown up with them, very soft spoken and always feels scared for nothing. Marries Venkat without knowing about his love life, Sakthi who happens to be her sister.
Chandra (Kathiresan's brother)
A very loving brother and not blood related to Kathiresan, adopted brother. Yet Kathiresan never shown less love for him. Chandra admirers and loves his brother and care for his SIL Sivagami much. After as days goes by, after being poison by his wife Janaki, he too started to change and finally chases away his brother after taking the whole wealth from him.
Janaki (Chandra's wife)
Married without kids for almost 5 years. For her, Sivagami kids are like her's. They love her a lot and she too loves them. Spends more time with them. Though, deep down her heart, she still feels sad for not having own baby. Got abortion a couple of times and that makes her even more sad. The 5 kids are the only medicine for her. Out of nowhere came her chitti, a evil lady who manage to poison Janaki agains Sivagami. Little by little her attitude changes. One fine day she becames pregnant and Sivagami was the most happiest person. But her chitti makes her believes that Sivagami is jealous and trying to get her abortion 😡. Janaki then ends up putting a distant between her and Sivagami family. Starts poisoning her hubby and results, chasing Kathiresan and family out of the house.
Kavitha - Gayithri 's family
Husband - Saravanan
A very nice chap, loves his wife dearly and knows her truth of her pass and her adoption. Knows his father is always cruel to know but his unable to do anything except to calm Gayithri and ask her to be patience. Until one day he comes to know his sister loves Gayithri's brother, but he marries another girl name Kanchana. His sister attempts for suicide which made Saravanan hate his wife Gayithri as she supported her brother's wedding. With enough poking from father, he send her out from the house😲😡. Later brings back his wife upon learning she is pregnant 😳 He does love her but is just torn between wife and father/sister.
Daughter - Divya
Very cute girl who talks a lot and always directly gives her grandfather piece of her mind 😆😆 Loves her mother very much.
FIL - Gunaseelam
A very cruel cunning man 😡😡 hates Gayithri just because his son married her without his permission. Always finds fault on her and tortures her the max. Tries to find every way he can to get his son send Gayithri off 😡😡 Wonder when he will ever start treating Gayithri as a DIL
SIL - Devi
College student who loves her anni much and always stand by herside when her father tortures Gayithri. But everything change when the guy she loves married another girl, and that too with Gayithri's help and blessing. Join her father and tortures her more.
Gayithri's parents (adopted)
Very nice people who loves and cares her much. Knows the torture she goes through with her FIL and always advise her.
Gayithri's Brother & Wife
Well manered guy, responsible and adores his sister very much. Falls in love with Sundari, and marries her. Will stand for his sister for any matter as long she is happy. Sundari, her first marriage was stopped as her father past away. He sold the house and got the money for her wedding but somehow misplace the case, upset and sad, leads to heart attack. The groom that propose her rejects her and she first tried to commits suicide. Later leaves her village and comes to Gayithri's place, night time, chases by some rowdies and saved by Gayithri's brother. She does not know the money that father lost actually was found by Gayithri who was in desperate to save her husband so she used it. Gayithiri was the one force Sundari to stay with them out of guilt.
Kannan's Adopted Brother & Wife
Mukilan a big rowdy finds Kanna and bring him back. From small Kanna lives with them and loves them dearly. As he grows him, he goes into the same line as Mukilan, helps him in business and other matter's. Mukilan does lot of bad things also and most of his activitist had been recorded in a sim card. On the search of the sim card, Kannan comes to know about his mother Sivagami and sister Sivasakthi. Upon knowing they are alive, he quit his old job and begs Mukilan to leave him in peace. Though Mukilan is a rowdy, he dearly loves and cares for Kannan. Same goes to his wife too as they don't have any kids, Kannan was more like a son.
Kanchana - Vimala Adopted Family
Both Rajashekar and wife adopted her as a baby. Wife loves her so much and cannot bear the idea of Kanchana leaving them one day. Her fear comes true when she sees Sivagami is still alive and starts worrying. Husband says nothing like that will happen as even though they came and claim Kanchana, she will not leave her mother and go.
Sivasakthi's Best Friend Parimala's family

Friendly girl, Sivasakthi's best friend. Very loving daughter but her character here is not much. Once there was an alliance for her but thanks to her uncle 😡 that has been cancel.
Parimala Father
A wise man. very caring and well respected. For him, Sivasakthi is just like Parimala, another daughter. Bit sad when the wedding was call off.
Parimala Mother
Just a normal ordinary housewife, loving mother and caring MIL
