Meet Ballika Vadhu's Anandi
Avika Gor who plays Anandi in Ballika Vadhu has become a household name for everyone. The show has been receiving immense accolades for its story line and performances. We spoke to Avika about her part in the show.
"I am very happy and I am enjoying. I am very thankful that I got this opportunity to show my talent like I get to show my happiness and emotional side too," says Avika.
The little girl says that being the youngest, she is thoroughly spoiled by everyone on the show. "I get pampered by everyone on the sets. They give me chocolates. I play various games with them. They helped me in my studies too. They all have become my good friends. My friends too started pampering me a lot. They call me Anandi all the time and tease me nakchadi," says Gor, "Dadi who behaves rudely with me on screen is very nice in real. Avinash (Jagdish) also plays with me and we have become friends. I like this everything."
In fact the little girl has created such an impact that she is often recognized when out in public. "When I go out people come to me and ask me 'Are you Anandi?'" laughs Avika.
Avika says she was confident about her show's success. "When I heard the story I knew that there is something different in it and it will become popular soon. I manage my studies with my shooting. I carry my books to the set and in between shots I study. Now my exams are also coming. After that I am going to visit my native in Gujarat. I never get tired of work."
Avika was recently in Jaipur filming for the show. Avika has done shows like Rajkumar Aryan, Karam Apna Apna, Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni previously.
