Chaitanya or Bakhtiyar, who's better dancer?

I was just wondering if everyone thinks that Bakhtiyar is the best dancer among boys as the judges and even the boys team themselves seem to think.

In my opinion, Chaitanya is far better dancer overall than Bakhtiyar, and this has nothing to do with Bakhtiyar's "ego problems", his (at times) rudeness and his unwanted opinions. We're just talking dance here.

(Btw, this post is not to hurt any Bakhtiyar fans, its just my opinion, feel free to crucify my Chaitanya, but with solid evidence! 😊)

Bakhtiyar's strong point is that he has super high energy and is fast with movements, but there his strength ends. He lacks on facial expressions and fails to bring out a personality while dancing, which is why all his western dance (and sometimes even folk) performances look about the same, barring the first half of the popping and locking. For example if you compare him with Gaurav and Chaitanya on the "dressed as beach drag queen act" by the guys, his movements did not look like a girl's, he danced firecly without any softness to the movements. Also he is quite heavy on his feet.

Compared to that, Chaitanya has good energy level, probably not borderlining to too much high as Bakhtiyar, but more than enough to keep the dance alive. He has great facial expressions, and he seems to carry out his movements so easily and flawlessly (if you watch his "Yoon Shabnami" you will know what I am talking about, the whole dance just flowed by). He seems so easy on his feet so its easy on your eyes. When he does different dances it looks different, for example his Krazy 4 had a different feel because of his attitude compared to the mirror image dancing. Adding on, his humtum round with Karishma showed quite a range of his expressions, from "naughty nok-jhok" to the "totally in love" moments. All in all, I feel that Chaitanya is a complete package with a nice blend of great expressions, smooth steps and great energy level.

He was given a comment in Nach Baliye.. that he dances as if he is fighting by Saroj Khan.

I have been watching him since Indian Idol 1

1. How did he get into top 10?

When the 10th finalist dropped by her own choice whom he had lifted during the song and girl was a superb singer and from an orthodox tamil family.

2. How did he fair in India idol? We all know that ..

3. He tried acting then.. he was just ok in KSBKBT but then he became an expressionless face

4. Then came Jo jeeta wahe superstar .. could he stanf there with thos really GOOD singers? We know that

5. Now dancing ...

The problem is he tries eveything and he wants to be told that he is the best .. he just can't take ANY criticism.

I feel Vikas and chaianya are just great to accept criticism

😊 Its nice to see that at least someone thinks so. I remember Saroj Khan's comments that Bakhtiyar looks like he's "jumping around" more than dancing. The woman is always right on with her critiques!

And I agree about Amit, he just can't take criticism and thinks that he's the best in everything, but he's a typical case of "Jack of all, Master of none!" ... somebody give him a reality check, please! 😆
