:: Kissmet Ka Khel :: Synopsis

Kissmet Ka Khel is about two engrossing characters locked in a powerful tussle with emotional undercurrents that will make viewers ask: Why has fate made them enemies and not friends? Starting 15th September to air Mondays to Thursdays, at 10.30 pm.

Kissmet Ka Khel is the sweeping saga of Krishna and Damini, two strongly motivated protagonists whose aspirations drive them to push all boundaries to realise their dreams. They are two individuals with strong principles who could have been friends, had Fate not decided to make them enemies, thus giving birth to hatred and a war between Krishna and Damini, threatening to destroy not just them but everyone and everything they love.

Krishna is just seven years old when fate uproots him from Bihar and brings him to Mumbai, where he has to start his journey to realise his dream. And as this young man grows up, he is driven by one ambition: to make it big in the construction business in Mumbai, and tower over the city like the skyscrapers he wants to build.

Meanwhile, Damini, who is a rich industrialist's daughter in a quest for the truth, has to struggle against opposition at home and outside, to establish herself as a media baron.

As Krishna and Damini struggle to overcome the obstacles in the way of their goals, their paths cross... they seem to be made for each other...

But fate has other plans...

Kissmet Ka Khel, produced by  Bonnie Jain Productions, is embellished with a refreshingly new cast which includes Nidhi Seth as Damini Agnihotri,  Karron Mallik as Krishna Yadav and Bharat Singh, Beena Rai, Sunita Rao, Shakti Arora and Kalpana Vora,  among others.

:: Kissmet Ka Khel :: Characters

Damini Agnihotri (Played by Nidhi Seth)
Damini is the stunningly beautiful and confident daughter of wealthy industrialist Rishabh Agnihotri. She carries the burden of being her father's sole heir and, since she is a woman, she has to prove time and again that she is worthy of taking his place. With her very strong principles and her quest for truth, Damni's one great ambition is to become a media baron. She is extremely motivated and independent, but equally impetuous and impulsive. She thinks with her heart, and frequently leaps without looking. Damini is scared of getting too close to anyone, and confides only in two people: her grandmother, and her best friend Dipankar.

Krishna Yadav (Played by Karron Mallik)
Krishna Yadav is the son of a lower-caste farmer from Bihar. When Krishna is just 7 years old, his parents are burnt alive, and he is forced to flee to Mumbai and take refuge in the slums of Dharavi. Battered though he is by Fate, Krishna is a tough youngster burning with but one ambition: to make it big in the construction business in Mumbai, and tower over the city like the skyscrapers he wants to build. Krishna is always frank and says what he feels -- but always speaks briefly and to the point. This man of few words is shy when it comes to matters of the heart. With his friends, he is naughty and lovable, and fiercely loyal. And Krishna neither forgives nor forgets.

Dipankar (Played by Shakti Arora)
Dipankar is Damini's best friend. He is an intelligent, good looking and confident young man who loves Damini, but his confidence falls short of being able to express his feelings to her. He is emotionally strong and doesn't get carried away easily by passion, and comes across as a very balanced person. At the same time, he can land up in crazy, hilarious situations too!

Hemant (Played by Bharat Singh)
Hemant is Krishna's best friend, philosopher and guide - indeed, his mentor. Krishna looks up to Hemant, who supports Krishna's ambition because he can see his immense potential, and hunger for success. Hemant has stood by Krishna from his early days of bitter struggle, and Krishna loves his friend who, incidentally, is a bit of a goof and somehow always manages to land himself in a spot. The happy-go-lucky Hemant has dreams and ambitions of his own, but unlike Krishna, lacks the drive to achieve them.

Subhadra (Played by Beena Rai)
Subhadra is Damini's grandmother. She is very sensible and level-headed, and a lovable and often impish grandmother who can do and say the most outrageous things. She loves Damini dearly and is her close confidante.
