Recap : Dadaji informs the family members about the puja ; Rana comes to know that the Ranawats are coming to Morpur
Today :
Two hospital bearers come bearing a body covered with white cloth into the Ranawats' living room : all the family members are dressed in mourning clothes and Shubh is close to losing control of himself .As everybody cries , Shubh uncovers the dead body's face :its Aastha .Shubh cries 'Aastha!'
Aastha wakes up , she was having a nightmare.She cries 'Shubh!' and then thinks about her nightmare and then she resolutely thinks 'I will perform this puja'.
Meanwhile , Rana's odd-eyed sevak is performing a puja in the jungle and he thinks to himself 'O devi! Why are you bringing this Ranawat family here ?' (I hate this guy , he's too creepy for words)
.Next morning , Aastha is surprised to see Shilpa at the Ranawat house with her luggage .Shilpa says that Shubh had called her to go with them to Bhorpur because he wanted to surprise Aastha .
Anushka thinks 'So cheap...Shubh must have said this as a formality , and this middle class girl is here with her luggage , to be a luggage for us...'
Aastha refuses to let Shilpa go with them but Sulochana convinces her that they will take care of Shilpa after Dadaji gives a signal to Sulochana that 'Yes , Shilpa may come'
Everyone follows Dadaji as he leaves but Aastha stays behind and thinks that maybe she'll never come back to this house after the kuldevi's puja.She looks at the room for one last time and then leaves.As Aastha shuts the door behind her , something falls down.(I dont know what that was , but it was one of those things you hang up on the entrance so that nothing evil enters your home , as per tradition)
When they arrive at Morpur station , Mahen is video-recording everyone's reaction as they step down on the Ranawats' ancestral bhoomi and he's speaking in the Mewar language.Mahen teases Anushka in Rajasthani but she cant understand him.
Shubh steps down from the train and helps Aastha down.Aastha seems worried and suspicious of everything around her.
----Yeah guys ,I guess you've seen the still of Shubh Aastha smiling with the train as the background , clearly an SA moment , but that scene wasnt in the epi....I guess was edited out .....grrr........you can see the pic which I'm using as a siggy ...thats the one------
The sevak , whose name is Somer , comes and greets Dadaji and the rest and flatters them saying that this is a wonderful day.Dadaji introduces him to all the family members and says that he's the haveli's most old caretaker.Everyone else is disconcerted by his odd eyes.
Dadaji then tells everyone how they'll sit : himself , Sulochana , Vanraj , Sonu and Somer in the first car , Aastha and Shubh in the second and the others in the third and fourth cars.
Shubh tells the driver of the second car to sit behind and drives himself.He is in a reckless mood and drives out of the station quickly without waiting for the others.Dadaji shouts for Shubh to stop but he doesnt hear him.Dadaji says 'Shubh ne yeh accha nahin kiya ' and tells Somer to follow them quickly.
Just at that moment , their car doesnt start .(Hello? Have u heard of the invention called a mobile? Call Shubh!!!)
Shubh is enjoying himself , driving at a breakneck speed on the highway .Aastha keeps telling him to slow down but Shubh says that he's never learnt to move back .
One truck was going side by side SA's car , and another had come up from behind but Shubh wouldnt let it pass.Just then , another truck ws coming from the opposite way , but SA were trapped.Just moments before the collision , Shubh swerves the car aside into the jungle and they are saved.
A few villagers come and help them and Shubh thanks them in Rajasthani (hah hah , he sounded extremely cute) .
Shubh tries to reassure Aastha saying 'Its OK Aastha ' but Aastha says 'Nothing's okay Shubh , do you know how close we were to falling into a huge problem?'
A weird tantrik , dressed completely in black comes up and says 'This is just the start of problems!In the coming days , you will have to face many more problems!' He draws a locket out of his bag and shows it to Shubh saying that this will protect you from problems.
Somebody is watching the tantrik and SA thru' binoculars.
Aastha nods yes to Shubh and Shubh takes the locket and Aastha ties it around his neck.When she turns to say thanks to the tantrik , he wasnt there.
Dadaji and the others arrive and Dadaji is furious and scolds Shubh and tells him to obey his commands in the future .
Somer Singh too imitates Dadaji and lectures Shubh saying that whatever your elders tell you , they do it for your own good , so you should---
Saksham interrupts him and shouts at him saying that when Dadaji is talking to Shubh , who are you to be interrupting ? You may be the haveli's trusted caretaker but who gave you the right to scold Shubh (Go for it Saksham !!!!) .Saksham says that you are our haveli's servant and you'd better stay like that or else --- Dadaji slaps Saksham .
Everyone is shocked and Dadaji tells Saksham that how dare you talk to him like that , he isnt just a servant , he's a member of the family ! Look at him - look at his glass eye , he lost it while protecting our family .
Dadaji warns Shubh that he should not do such acts of bachpana again ( his acts of bachpana make him so different and better than you , your-white-haired-majesty) and he tells all the family members that they should maintain the garima of the kuldevi's puja they have come to perform.
Somer Singh says that they should leave for the haveli and as they go , he and Saksham glare at each other.
As they all get into the cars and leave , Rana finally lowers his binoculars . It was he who was watching all the events through binoculars (darpok!!! come out and show yourself!!!!)
