Now whole family was there as Maan's engagement was announced.

Savitri Devi gave her blessings to Geet. She praised her for her achievement but Geet as usual gave all credit to her Chote Thakur.

Maan's Both Chacha and Chachi, Annie and Nandini did not at all like the idea of Maan getting engaged with Geet. Veerji, Bhabhi and Dadima were all playing with family reputation just for Maan's sake.

"You guys, still can't see the reality. First, Maan is himself the ambasdor of anything he does. It will only be seen as symbol and people will follow it. Second, you all are not able to accept the achievement of Geet. Without any support, becoming queen and darling of top medical college is not a simple thing. "

But they could still not accept that the girl who ran at their orders will be the eldest Bahu of Khurana's.

But Rajendra cleared his point. Maan was his son and the descision was made. If anyone does not agree, it's their issue.

Geet was in Kamini's room. Kamini preffered it as otherwise whole family looked tauntingly at Geet.

"What Geet, you are trying to say something from so long. Did Maan again behaved rudly"

"Nahi.. woo I was thinking, its my engagement" Geet was again hesitant

"Haan bolo... Maan is not placing any wish so this engagement will go all by your wish, say"

"woo Maa, bauji, veerji"

"Beta, we have already thought of it. Tumhe dil se apna rahen hain hum and we are proud of you, really, trust me. That's why, by not calling your parents how we can insult our eldest Bahu. They will come today evening and will be available in your engagement."

Dev also entered house with his model wife, Naintara. He did no work and only went behind his wife Naintara on her modeling assignments. Family money will anyways come in wing and income thru Geetanjali was huge.

Naintara had also married Dev in name of Khurana Empire. Dev and Naintara were also eying the share from Maan's Geetanjali. Bhai will not marry so the money will go to family itself and they would be the heir.

But alas, Bhai was getting married and that too with that Geet.

In the evening Rano and Mohinder jumped on feet of Kamini and Rajendra. They could not believe and digest what was happening; Chote Thakur and Geet.

"You both should be proud of your daughter and don't even dare think low of our would-be Bahu. Hamare bte kee khushiyoon ke chabhi hai woo. I know I am selfish in many ways but now Geet is ours and in all senses"

She gave them gift and some descent clothes to wear for engagement.

Geet was then called; she touched feet of her parents. Rano gave her blessings and even Mohinder gave her blessings but all he could see was so much money. Ohh his daughter was going to be so rich. Offcourse she will not forget her father.

It was just by chance that Maan entered Kamini's room at that very moment.

Rano ran to him with joint hands, Maan held her hands between his and touched her feet

"Nahi Chote Thakur, paap lagega" "AAp Geet kee maa hain, mere liye yehi pehchan hai aapki"

Geet had tears with respect for her Chote Thakur but Maan did not give her the glance.

Mohinder also came infront "Don't even think. You have never been father of Geet, so don't expect anything."

Maan left immediately. He gave Geet all importance and respect in front of all but kept himself away from her.

The engagement was to be held in the grand 5 star hotel. His entire family members wishes or not, had to attend it. Top stars, business man and all top people from all background were invited.

Everyone eagerly waiting to get glimpse of would be Mrs Maan Singh Khurana. Maan had refrained from talking with Geet but when asked by press he had said great words for her.

The grand hall was decorated in a grand way and now had started getting decorated with grand entries.

Geet was looking beautiful like a fairy. As she was brought down by Annie and Nandini, no one could stop gazing at the descending beauty.

Annie and Nadini, knew this was going to be high profile function. All thanks to bhai, he had decided to give this grand party for this girl. But they have to be the face in party as much as possible and thus had no option than to be with Geet.

Mehak and Vickey were present to, but they being upset with Geet had just landed today and tried to keep low profile. Jo apna maante hain wohi narazgi jatate hain.

As Geet entered the main hall, she was taken by kamini. Geet, seeing the grandness and high profile people became nervous. She so badly wanted her Chote Thakur by her side now, she needed him.

Everyone came, greeted Geet, Rajendra and Kamini introduced Geet. They praised her and that was the outlook that people got. Everyone was awed by her manners and beauty.

Savitri Devi was also proud of her... it actually is how you want to look at things. Other family members could not miss this high profile party and no one could ignore Maan's party; his Geetanjali was number one but seeing Geet in that position was not digestable.

Geet was getting nervous as engagement time was almost approaching and Maan was not in yet, while others where waiting eagerly for his entry; media was on top of it.

It was five minutes to engagement time when Maan made and authorative entry, whole media and people turned to take glimpse of his magnificent personality. Geet felt relief of life seeing him. Maan waved all in style and directly came and stood beside Geet holding her by her side.

"Chote Thakur, jaan nikal di aapne. Itnee der kerdi" But Maan did not even answer her but was holding her by his side proudly. Geet felt disappointed, he did not even glance at her.

The way he stood beside her, it gave an image to whole world, how proud he was of his choice and all felt that it was a dream moment for any girl.

"Hi all" He addressed media and all people there "Meet my dream girl, beauty of my life, Geet"

"Chote Thakur" Geet, whom he was giving the focus of whole party, tried to get his attention. But Maan looked at his parents

"Shall we start engagement party soon now?"

Rings were exchanged, all the while Geet kept looking at Maan, so that their eyes meet at least once but Maan had plastered a prideful smile in her honour but he did not give her a single glance. He held her proudly at different angle in front of media.

After engagement, he went with her and took blessings from all elders. In public he even touched feet of Mohinder as he did not want anyone put finger at Geet but soon gave back warning look to Mohinder in private.

Maan was a complete player here and all were dancing at his tunes.

He later, took Geet to his clients. He proudly made Geet meet each one of them, praised to everyone about her achievement, her brilliance, success, beauty etc and how proud he was to get her. All the clients were completely impressed by Geet herself and added by how Maan had presented her. Most were happy for Maan Singh Khurana's choice and all family members who had to be jealous of Geet can be more jealous, Maan made sure of it.

He then got busy in business talks with his client, which soon took priority for him. Geet being all time by him, his pride but what none realized in all this was Geet herself got just his ignorance in this whole party.

He praised her beauty to all but did he even look at how she was looking today. He praised of her success but till date he has avoided to know from her in which college she is.

He then elegantly left her between ladies, who were admiring her and her luck and himself got busy with his business which was his main priority in this party other than prideful entry of Geet in his life.

Engagement party almost got over and guest started moving out. Maan and his business party were now going on. Family members too moved to the Mansion. Geet was not leaving but at last Kamini pulled her out

"Beta woo business me aise hee busy ho jata hai. You come with us."

Geet kept loking at him but Maan was busy in his business party and discussion.

Geet reached KM with Kamini. Geet asked Kamini to go get rest as she would wait for Maan.

Dev came with Naintara to tauntingly congratulate her

"Dev, after knowing her past, I can't believe she is going to be my Jethani. Was this the day fro which I married you."

But Dev's eyes were greedily looking at Geet.

"Tara you go in baby, I will handle her." But soon, Maan's car made entry and hearing it Dev took side, but not before giving warning look to Geet. How badly she missed her Chote Thakur now.

Maan came, saw Geet waiting in hall, ignored her and left for his room. Geet ran behind him.

"Geet I have business call in 10 minutes. Please leave, I have to make setups."

"Chote Thakur, today we got engaged. Ek baar apni Geetu ko aaj ke din dekh to lijiye"

"Geet, please no melodrama, I have an important meeting yaar"

"Ek baar chote Thakur, dekh lijiye na, aapke liye saji hoon" she pleaded

"angothee bhi nahi dekhi aapne"

"Chote Thakur" tears rolled down her cheeks as she said his name in broken voice "PLEASE LEAVE" he said sternly.
