PART 33

the next few days were nothing special, just usual like any other day. just there was one thing that manvi wasnt liking. she wondered what is sonia still doing in their lives. if she really came for the wedding, then she must have left india by now... manvi wasnt getting the real reason behind sonia staying here with them in their house. guests are supposed to go back to their place after the wedding, right...??? but why she isnt she going...??? what is keeping her here...?? and most of all, what does she thinks of herself... why cant she leave her husband alone...

manvi was pacing in her room thinking about the morning incident. she was standing near the window of her room when she saw virat leaving for office. she smiled at seeing him getting responsible like her viren bhaiya cum jiju.. but next moment, the grin on her face was replaced by a frown on seeing sonia running to virat and getting into the car with him.

manvi : why did she go with virat...??? did she go to the office with him...??? nooo... why would she go to office... there is nothing that excited and appealing there... did she go somewhere else...??? virat lied to me... he was going with her, was he...??? virat ditched me today and that to for that so called friend of his... who knows they are friends or what...?? what am i gonna do...?? woh mere pati mein interested hai... husband snatcher kahin ki... kya jarurat hai virat ko uske saath itna friendly hone ki... why doesnt he asks her to go back to london...?? why...??? does he wants her to stay here...?? no mr. virat singh vadera you cannot cheat me... you only love me... kisi aur se pyaar karke dekho, i will kill you that day only... par wo sonia... kahan le gayi mere pati ko... aur itne chote kapde kyun pahenke gayi thi wo... virattt...

jeevika : what is wrong...???
manvi dramatically wiped her tears and sniffled her nose...
manvi : di...
jeevika : manvi... what happened sweetheart...?? why are you crying...???
manvi : that sonia is a husband snatcher... she wants to snatch virat from me...
jeevika : haha... enough of your jokes mannu... okk i came here to -
manvi : no... i am joking... (again starting crying)
jeevika : okk okk stop crying first...
manvi : hmm... okk...
jeevika : now tell why do you think so low of sonia...
manvi : low... no you have no idea di... she keeps sticking to virat like anything... he is a married man now... and see i am beautiful... infact more prettier than her but still she is hitting on my husband...

jeevika widened her eyes and looked at manvi. she always thought and assumed taht virat was the one possessive among the two... but who knew they both are competitors in this field also... she never knew manvi is also that possessive about virat...

manvi : she joined virat in the car today morning... what does she thinks she is trying to do...???
jeevika couldnt help but giggle seeing that rare possessive avatar of her little sister...
manvi : you are also sonia na... uski team ho kya...???
jeevika : no ways... aww mannu...
manvi : this is nto the time for "aww" di...
jeevika : you love him soo much... i never knew you were that possessive about my devar...
manvi : i am not being possessive... (trying to avoid the topic)

jeevika nodded her head in positive and manvi made a face.
jeevika : okk listen now i was thinking to go for shopping... come join me...

jeevika left the room and manvi again went on her send sonia back mission. manvi dialled virat's number and surprisingly he didnt pick her call...
manvi : you didnt pick up my call mr. virat annoying vadera... i hate you...
manvi again dialled his mobile and this time he picked it up.
virat : hey wifey...
manvi : i hate you...
virat : aww i love you too...
manvi : why didnt you pick up my call...???
virat : i was working on something important...
manvi : something important... i know whats important... (muttering under her breath)
virat : kya bol rahi ho...??
manvi : where are you...???
virat : goa... sex on the beach...
manvi : what...??? (yelling on the phone)
virat : ohh hello... dont shout... my ears in the working order...
manvi : office mein ho...???
virat : yeah... where would i be...?? cmon...
manvi : and sonia...???
virat : sonia what...?? i thought you were missing me..
manvi : i hate you and missing the people you hate is nearly impossible...
virat : haha... so are you interested in sonia...??? manvi she is straight...
manvi : so am i... dont irritate me virat...
virat : okk lemme get striaght to the point... you are disturbing me like hell... and above all you are not talking something interesting because of which i decide to put my work on hold...
manvi opened her mouth in shock...
manvi : how can u talk to me like that...??? you arrogant monster...
virat smirked on seeing the sherni back in action...
manvi : bolo... darr gaye kya...?? chup kyun ho...???
virat : ask me whatever you want to ask... i dont have time... (controlling his laughter)
manvi : where is sonia..?? she left the house with you in the morning...
virat : she is gone for some work... she is not with me... will come back by lunch i guess...
manvi : okk... get lost...

manvi disconnected the call and sighed thinking that sonia isnt with virat and her husband is safe in office. manvi was cursing sonia when her mobile rang. she thought it will be virat but to her surprise it was prem..

manvi : hello...
prem : hii manvi...
manvi : how are you prem...??
prem : i am not fine... i want to meet you...
manvi : but you werent in chandigarh... i mean tum toh -
prem : haan gaya tha but i will be reaching chandigarh today...
manvi : ohh... prem actually... i mean i am sorry...
prem : sorry for marrying virat or sorry for leaving me...
manvi : prem i... i didnt know what to do at that time... you know i wanted to hear it all from virat but he didnt say anything -
prem : so you married him... i somewhere down my heart knew you love him but this is not the way manvi...
manvi : prem i didnt mean to hurt you... i dont want to lose a friend like you...
prem : manvi i know you... but i didnt expect that you will never end the things between us... i mean... okk you can do whatever you wnat but atleast you should have broken up the so called relationship we had before that accident of yours...
manvi : i am soo sorry... i know i should have... can we meet tomorrow...??
prem : yes... we need to meet... and why not tomorrow... its a special day tomorrow...
manvi : special...
prem : six months ago... on this very date we met... it will always remain special for me...

manvi smiled and remembered that day and she didnt realise when and how the call ended. this particular conversation with prem, made manvi feel guilty of doing that to prem.. to the guy who loved her with all his heart and did so much for her... he gave her support when she needed it the most... he was her support system when virat left her...
