The next day Khushi woke a sleepy Arnav up "Arnav,Arnav wake up...We have to go the doctor today"

Arnav opened his eyes and stared at Khushi "The check up's today?"

Khushi nodded.

After the doctor checked Khushi,she sat back down on her chair "Everything looks good right now.Since Mrs.Raizada is only in her second month,you cannot get a sonography done but you can in the third month.Oh by the way,Mrs.Raizada,have you had any sort of cravings or mood swings?"

Khushi shook her head "No.Not really"

The doctor nodded "In some pregnancies,you don't have any cravings or mood swings but majority has it that most women do" She turned to Arnav "You shouldn't worry if she suddenly starts behaving differently or begins demanding things"

Arnav nodded "So Khushi and the baby are both fine?"

The doctor nodded.

Arnav and Khushi went home "Aren't you going to office today,Arnav?" asked Khushi.

Arnav shrugged "I'm going to be working from home now"

Khushi grinned "That's awesome"

Arnav nodded and smiled "Now my dear wife" he said gently pushing her on the bed "You must rest"

Khushi widened her eyes "I didn't even do anything and you're asking me to rest!"

Arnav chuckled "Yes"

Khushi pouted and did as was told.Arnav's smiled immediately vanished the second Khushi had closed her eyes.He grabbed his phone and read the message which was sent to him,when he and Khushi were finished with their appointment at the hospital.

Arnav frowned trying to figure out what it meant.He reread it but it still made no sense.

Khushi woke up at 2:30 pm and found Arnav asleep next to her 'Looks like he's tired' she thought.She smiled and immediately frowned 'I bought nothing for the family.How selfish of me'.Khushi got up and got ready to go shopping.She wanted to tell Arnav but he looked so tired as if he hadn't slept the previous night,Khushi didn't have the heart to wake him up so she left a note.Khushi didn't bother taking the bodyguards and sneaked out.

15 minutes later

Arnav frowned in his sleep feeling his phone annoyingly buzz at him.He had no sleep last night.It was a miracle he woke up this morning.Arnav groaned and grabbed his phone.There was a message.

Arnav no longer felt sleepy.His eyes were wide.He quickly turned around and found the spot beside him empty "Khushi" he whispered as he stood up.Only a piece of paper lay on the bed,informing him she had gone to some mall.He ran out and noticed all the bodyguards were in place and none were missing 'Khushi's out alone' he realized "Guards!" he yelled.He immediately had their attention "Where is Khushi?She isn't inside and I know she has gone out but why aren't any of you with her?" he demanded.

"B-boss" said one the guards "We didn't kn-"

"What do you mean?There are nearly 30 of you and one of her and yet you are that blind,you can't even see if she leaves" Arnav ran a hand through his hair,frustrated.He knew it was just a waste by yelling at the guards.He recalled the message

"That means he's already after her" he whispered in horror "Guards!Go to every shopping mall now!"

They immediately left.Arnav too left.He went to most popular shopping mall and took 5 guards with him "You search that way and I'll go look this way" he told them.

Arnav looked around but couldn't find her.He even tried her phone several times but she never answered.

Khushi frowned as she realized her phone's battery died.She shoved it into her purse and looked around.Her eyes went wide when her mouth was covered by a hand.She tried to get out of the stranger's arms but he was strong.She even tried biting him.He flinched but kept his hold on her.Khushi wanted to call out for Arnav but she couldn't.The stranger,without saying a single word,dragged her out into the parking lot.She noticed somebody else was following them.Khushi struggled but no effect.The stranger opened,what seemed to be his car and took out handcuffs.He gave them to the man who was behind him.The stranger let go of her mouth and held her wrists in a tight grip "Let go of me!" Khushi yelled but he ignored her.Khushi suddenly stopped moving and looked at the man with the handcuffs.His face was covered with a mask.Khushi had a feeling she had seen this figure somewhere "Do I know you?" she asked.

The stranger looked at her.Khushi was scared as she saw the hate grow in his eyes.Suddenly he was pushed away and Khushi was immediately pulled into a strong hug "Khushi,are you okay?" she heard Arnav's worried voice.Khushi looked up and nodded.She looked to her side and noticed the police were here.They had captured one man but the other was missing.The man Khushi felt she knew very well "Where's the other guy?" asked Arnav to the police.

The police turned to him "I am afraid he ran away just in time"

"A-Arnav what's going on?" Khushi asked,worried.

Arnav picked Khushi up in his arms and took her home.

An hour had passed since the incident had occurred and Arnav still seemed very worried.He would glance at Khushi every five seconds as if making sure she was right there.He had gone to take a shower but not before sending a guard inside to keep an eye on her.Khushi felt trapped in her own house but she knew she was somewhat responsible.Though,she still didn't get why somebody had tried to kidnap her.Khushi glanced back at the bathroom door which remained shut and glanced back at the guard who had his eyes glued to her.Khushi gulped and took Arnav's phone.Before she had fell asleep earlier,she had seen him look at his phone as if he was glued to it which made her wonder.She read the message

A few minutes later,the bathroom door flew open and Arnav came out.He nodded at the guard gesturing him to leave.The guard left.He looked at Khushi who was just staring at his phone "Khushi,what are you looking at?" Khushi looked up at Arnav and Arnav panicked seeing her eyes water.He rushed to her "What happened Khushi?"

"What?" said Arnav feeling ridiculous "What are you talking about..what makes you think that?" Khushi showed the phone to him "Waiting for the moment" Arnav read out loud.

Khushi sobbed "Its from unknown"

Arnav closed his eyes "And that's why you thought..." Khushi nodded.Arnav shook his head "Khushi this means absolutely nothing...it..it's just from a client"

"He just got a new phone..that's it" he lied 'One more month' he recalled.

"Oh" Khushi felt dumb.She didn't know why she even reacted that way for absolute no reason.She didn't mean to but felt like it.

Arnav smiled and leaned towards her "Don't worry...remember what the doctor said.Mood swings"

Khushi smiled realizing this was none of her own fault "Right"

Khushi was in her room,watching tv while Arnav had gone to tell the chef what to make.Her eyes traveled to Arnav's laptop and a strong curiosity spread through her.She recalled the previous time how Arnav reacted when she had tried to read his email.Khushi got up and took his laptop.Opening his email,she read the contents sent from unknown.

Arnav entered his room,expecting his wife to be watching tv but was shocked seeing her on his laptop,on his email.She looked up at him and asked firmly "Arnav..what's going on?"

Arnav sighed realizing he wouldn't have to wait for that month anymore.
