Chapter 13 :
Arjun was feeding Addu while Roshni was busy in kitchen, making breakfast. Suddenly Arjun's phone buzzed. He picked it up and listened to the caller. Addu tugged Arjun's finger to grab his attention.
Arjun : Guss what? New case!! Have to go, you finish the bottle, Ok? Main tere mom ko batake aata hoon.
Arjun put Addu on the bed. Addu grabbed his bottle with both hands and continue drinking. He looked Dad moved to kitchen and he removed his hands from the bottle & held it with his feet. He grabbed his toy and started playing with it.
Arjun went to kitchen and found Roshni struggling with dough. He moved to the burner and put water on it for tea.
Roshni : what are you doing?
Arjun : I've to go now, Rosh. New case came up...so would you make a cup of tea while I get ready?
Roshni : But breakfast..
Arjun : Not today...I'm in a hurry.

After Arjun left, Roshni made Addu ready and put him on his cot.
Roshni : enjoy yourself, beta. Mumma avi nahake aayi...
Addu made an assuring sound. Roshni poked his cheeks and went to washroom.
I was hearing his mom singing inside the washroom, hearing that I didn't know when I felt droopy and was almost asleep when I heard a sound of door opening. May be dad is back, or it is Kamla kaki? But that opening sound was different. It's making more sound than usual.
I heard some whispering sounds, may be more than one people came inside. It's not a good sign at all. It made me restless. What's gonna happen, those voices are not familiar...are they came here to harm mom!?!
I saw a big man and a lady standing at the bedrooms door. That lady looks ok but that man looks like a ruffian, although their cloths are good, I felt they are not good people at all.
Man : Where is the women?
Lady : (Pointing towards the washroom) inside there..
Man : Toh aab kisko daraynge...
Lady : Uski kya zaroorat? Kaam khatam karke nikalte hain...
Man : Hmm...
Lady : Arre ?? what are you doing?
Man : Darana to cancel ho gaya, bathoroom main bandh karna to baaki tha na...
I couldn't figure out what are they talking about. I Closed my eyes to let them think that I'm sleeping. I felt their footsteps came to my cot.
Man : Baby is sleeping. May be screamed if he was awakened.
Lady : 3 months old baby is like a packet of cottons...they generally doesn't scream. Pick it up.
What!! They gonna pick me up!! What are they upto!!
I felt someone picked me up. What should I do now? Should I scream?! I can scram like a loudspeaker that mom will come running to me... But what if they hurt mom!! I think I should keep quite.
I felt those hand shifted me to that lady, and she held me tightly to her chest. A hard thing pricked on my cheek and I found it is a locket. I held that thing and pulled it; it came to my hands. No I have to use it, but how?
I saw that man brought out his cell phone and called someone.
Man : We have the baby. We're coming.
They were going to doorwords. OH!! No!! It's hardly three and half months and such a big problem showed up!! Now what should I do? Should I scram...no, If I do that, mom would try to come out and these people may hurt her. She's all alone, even dad is not around. I looked at my fists; I have my little toy and that lady's locket.
I dropped that locket at our doorsteps when they were exiting our house. I saw the security guard's shade near the main gate and thought of scream there. When they reached at there, I screamed like a loudspeaker, but that guard didn't come out from his cabin, where is he?
A man as passing by our gate and he stopped at my scream. I thought he would ask something as those people's face became pale. But that lady started patting me and smiled.
Lady : Oh no!! He's hungry...
Man : Haan...chalo, iska bottle car main hain na...come fast.
That passer-by smiled at them and moved away.
I shied; a screaming baby in a lady's lap is very normal scene. This plan is ruined.
A car braked in front of them and Goga & Jasmine got into the car hurriedly. Billu started the car immediately.
Billu : ( looking at the road) Congratulations Jasmine. Congratulations Goga. You kidnapped the baby perfectly. State of the ART!!
Goga : (shied heavily) That was close!! This baby started screaming at the last minute. (looked at Addu with burning eyes and gritting his teeth) I'll break all of your teeth, you brat!!
Billu : Goga!! Watch it! This baby has no teeth yet, so you can't break its teeth..& don't you dare to touch this baby. We have to take care of this child more than our own. This baby is precious for us. Just think, you can't earn a penny kidnapping your own child. But this baby is the key to our happiness.
Goga : How? His dad is an ordinary ACP.
Billu : So what? Look at his paternal and maternal keens, Rawtes and Raos, the big names. And ETF, they'll dance at our tunes for now on, It's good for our business.
I was shocked, these people were going to us me against my dad!! And uncles and Maasis!! No way!!
Jasmine : You are forgetting something.
Billu : What?
Jasmine : We just picked up the baby, but we didn't made arrangement for it. This baby will need food, it can't eat like us. & we don't know for how long we have to keep it with us, we need his cloths and nappies..
Goga : Couldn't you remind me before, we could pick from his house.
Billu : it's ok. Jasmine, I'm stopping at the shopping mall at next road. Go and buy whatever necessary.
Billu parked the car near a mall. They kept Addu inside the car. Billu accompanied Jasmine to shopping and Goga sat inside the car.
I was looking around, what can I do now. I was feeling helpless.
After half an hour, they came back and zoomed to their destination.
Jasmine : Uff, these baby stuffs are so costly...
Billu : Don't worry, Jasmine. Our client will pay us for it and we can earn some from his family also, you know they are rich...
Goga : Drive fast Billu vai. This baby is unpredictable. If he starts screaming now I'm definitely gonna strangle it...
Billu : No Goga!! Don't you dare to touch him. He's a golden goose for us.
When they moved to their little slum house, Addu dropped his toy near the door. Now he was praying someone would found it and try to return it to the owner.
Billu unlocked the door and let Jasmin enter with Addu first. Then Goga entered and finally Billu entered scanning the surrounding area.
Jasmine put Addu on bed and settled beside him.
Jasmine : Mission accomplished.
Billu : First part is complete. Now second part.
Jasmine : But the first part is most important.
Billu : True, but my favorite is second part. When I call that ACP and inform him that his baby is with me, you know how restless he would be. He'll beg for his child, for his life, and I'll be his master, his god!! His everything will depend on me. I'll laugh on his plead...& he'll dance on my tune... They'll do everything I asked for.. ha ha ha..
My blood was boiling... This man gonna rule over my dad!! No way!! I promise Mr. Billu Bakwaas, tujhe Turkey dance nahi karwaya toh mera naam vi Addu Arjun Rawte nahi!! Just wait and watch.
Jasmine : Oh, hello ,stop daydreaming.
Goga gave him the phone.
Goga : Make the call.
Billu : Not now, Goga. We'll take our time. Let the tension brew up.
Jasmine : Hmm...first let's have something, I'm starving.
Goga : Me too. As if I can eat a horse...
Jasmine : Stop this nonsense. Humans never eat horses when they starve. Billu, what's in our brunch?

After about an hour Billu called Arjun.
Arjun : Hello?
Billu : Hello ACP Rawte.
Arjun : Kya hain?
Billu : I was wondering..
Arjun : Don't, come to the point...& make it fast.
Billu : it's about your child.
Arjun : (became alert) My son? What happened to him?
Billu : Nothing yet, but anything is possible, right? I must say ACP, your baby is very cute. Specially eyes, as if it understands everything.
Arjun : What nonsence !! My son is with my wife..
Billu : Really? Did your wife confirmed that?
Arjun remained silent.
Billu : Aap confirm ho lijiye. I'll call later. Good bye A.C.P.
Arjun was busy with his team in case discussion, when Billu called him. Everybody saw his face changing color and sweat beads on his forehead. And when they heard Addu's name, all became equally tensed.
After the call ends. Arjun asked Shree to trace the call he received now and he called Roshni. But she wasn't picking his call. He and Sameer rushed to his home.
At home, Arjun found his security guard knocked out and injured. Sameer called the Ambulance and rest of the tam at the scene. Arjun entered his house and found everything at their places. There was no sign of struggling. He called Roshni's name and he was answered by a broken voice, which as coming from washroom.
Arjun found the washroom door locked from outside. He opened the door and a crying Roshni jumped over him.
Roshni : (crying) The door was locked from outside. I don't know how!! God my son must be scared...(she tried to move toards Addu's cot)
Arjun : They took Addu, Rosh.
Roshni : (between sobs) They? Who?
Arjun : Those who locked you inside. What happened here?
Roshni : (shouting) My Addu? Arjun bring my son back...I want him, NOW!!
Arjun : Ok...ok..calm down, I'll bring him back I promise. But you have to help me now, ok. We'll find him together...( Roshni was still crying)..now stop and tell me what happened here?
Roshni : I went to bath, and Addu was playing with his toy. When I finished I found the door looked from outside. I tried to get out from here..but...couldn't.
Rathod : Where is your phone?
Roshni : I left it on the bed. I heard it was ringing...
Rathod picked it up and checked. There were several missed calls from her office and Arjun.
Rathod : Change your cloths Rosh, and come with us. It's not safe for you here.
Aisha found that locket Addu dropped near the door. She kept it. It was a crucial clue for them.
