Neha's heart beats were running when elevator was climbing to floor 7.

Ping! She came back to reality. Rey unlocked the room. Neha's eyes were finding for Kria. She was praying whole time that they find Kria here.

Nobody was in room.

"Strange! Where would she go?" Rey worried.

"Rey! I need to tell you something." She said.

"yeah! Go ahead!" he answered.

"bro! How're you?" Vicky entered the room along with Sharon and Ali.

Chit chat and dissection of what happened took over the moment. Vicky told Rey about media and how Kria slapped Sharon. Rey was shocked. He didn't have any idea that Kria might be in trouble.

Sharon didn't miss the chance to gain Rey's sympathy by saying, "I am totally hurt that Kria even thought of me as a harmful person. I can never harm you Rey."

Rey said, "I am sure she had some big misunderstanding about this."

Neha supported Rey, "I agree! Let's wait and hear her side of story."

"By the way where is she? She should have with Rey" Vicky ridiculed.

"I am not getting your reasons here Vicky. Why you are sounding so anti to her??" Neha peeved.

Rey intervened and said, "Guys! Don't fight over it"

"Neha! Do you know where she is? I am worried and her phone is switched off." Rey asked.

"I don't know!" Neha answered and slouched to hold her head.

Rey asked, "What do you mean you don't know? You said she is at hotel."

Door bell rang. Rey took the door. Waiter handed over an envelope to him. He opened it right there being away from gang.

It had pictures of Kria and Kevon in bar. It was kind of photoplay. Someone really meant to convey something strongly. Kevon holding Kria from wrist, few screenshots of Kevon convincing Kria and then both was leaving the place. Rey couldn't draw anything.

Rey couldn't see Sharon coming and taking a look at pictures. "Kria went to some bar. Is it from our last hangout? She took the pictures and started flipping them. "She looks so cute. But didn't she wear some other dress when we were at beach party?" Sharon indicated.

Rey was fidgety. He took the pictures from her and put them in pocket.

"Guys! Enough of chat let me rest for a while." Rey scooped everyone out of room except Neha.

"Tell me! Where she is?" Rey asked to her.

"She went to Lindsey's to meet someone last night. She strictly asked me not to tell anyone about it." Neha uttered.

Rey's mind filled with suspicion. What happening around was so alien to him. He didn't know why Kria went to Lindsey's and met Kevon.

"You look worried? What envelop had?" Neha asked.

Rey showed her pictures.

"I don't know where she wore dress? She bought it specially to show you. And this Kevon guy is back. Where did he disappear earlier?" Neha muttered.

Kria opened her eyes. Sunlight was pronging her eyes. She was tied with rope on a chair. She was in some big house. No one was around.

She shouted if someone is there. Open window did bring savor of fields. Direct sunlight on her face was burning her skin. She couldn't recall when she lost conscious last night. Last thing she remembered was she asking driver to stop the cab.

Rey had nothing much to connect. It's like nightmare where he was totally unaware of every detail.

He headed towards Lindsey's. Door boy didn't let him go inside as it was off time. He tried to make him understand that he needs to know about someone. But he failed.

Rey took the emergency exit stairs with prudence. He climbed to the bar. It was easy and dull. Whole area was so dead. Pieces of broken glasses were all over the place.

"What's the point? Kria came here last night to meet Kevon. She didn't come back." Rey was trying to unriddle it.

He had to leave the place without any clue. Police was waiting for him at hotel to talk about blast last night.

Police was interrogating Ali about car. He told them he wasn't the one who checked Rey's car. He just screened the engine. Police was keen to meet Kria. They had this suspicion over everyone in their team. Technical team was on radar.

Rey came and met them. Police asked about Kria. Rey didn't have any answer. He said, "you can ask me whatever you want."

Police said, "There is surely some conspiracy. We doubt that someone from your team was behind this. We need to meet Kria Ghai."

Rey snubbed them by saying, "come on! He is love of my life. There is no way I am gonna let you people think on that tangent."

Curtains covered the window. It was automatic, most probably controlled by some remote. Kria was feared. Darkness took over the sunny room. Projector started rolling. It had Rey's pictures on the screen. After few solo shots, it displayed pictures of Elena with Rey. They seemed to share some chemistry. Few close shots, few erotic shots and so on, Kria was inert. They didn't look new ones. Rey looked so young in them. Kria shouted, "Who the hell are you? Why you are showing these shots to me? It's enough skulk. Show yourself."

A voice harked. "Does it felt good to see your boyfriend with someone? It must be so hurtful. I bet. This is your true Rey. He ain't that nave after all."

Some man was talking.

Kria answered, "It felt like nothing. Do you think I am gonna doubt Rey on these old pictures? No! I am not" Her voice had assuredness.

That man laughed for seconds.

"Nice hedging! But it hurts. Don't lie to yourself."

"I am not coerced to answer your stupid accuses." Kria said.

Rey had hard time ensuring Police that why Kria is missing and she has nothing to do with accident.

After police left, he searched out the room for any kind of clue, Kria's bag, her makeup kit and everything. He didn't find anything odd.

Kria was left alone for a while by that voice. She was sitting in darkness trying to find some way to get out of here.

Her mind surely drilled over Rey's intimacy with Elena. She could easily reason it with herself. It was past but still she had this backlog in heart. It felt like burning when she saw him with her. She shouldn't be doubtful about Rey's love for her but she was not able to control this envious feeling. Something was breaking inside her. She did fight it a lot. Seeing love of your life with someone else, seeing him sharing something which is yours exclusively with someone else was like spearing heart.

"Rey didn't tell me about Elena" she mulled. "But why he would? It was nothing serious? Rey has got over it." She answered her own doubt.

"Going to police for filing missing complaint would add to their doubt on her." Rey pondered.

"Why she was with Kevon? Did she go there to meet him? Of course she did. But why would she go to meet him like all dressed?" he perused.

"I used to tease her with Kevon's name? I never actually doubted her. I didn't." his self talks were answering his own insecurities.

Night made its presence. Rey entered the Lindsey's along with Neha. He was full of negative thought. He was worried about her. It's been 10 hours or so since she is missing. Rey's bruises and burns were making it worst. He couldn't walk properly. Neha was only succor to him.

It was full of life at this hour. Rey asked manager about Kria by showing her picture. He refused to give any information. After quite a negotiation, Rey convinced him to see CCTV footage. It was definitely difficult to draw out anything. It was bad quality. He managed to see Kevon dragging her by hand and then entering the emergency exit.

A waiter proved to be help. He told them that they both had some heated argument over something. Rey was confused why would Kria and Kevon were arguing?

Neha said, "She was so upset when she told me to take care of you. There was something which was definitely bothering her."

Rey couldn't realize when his eyes got wet. He could feel that he is so incapable to do anything. His only hope now was Kevon. He decided to find him at any cost.

He tried his phone but it wasn't of any use. He took help of some local sources to track him down. Private investigation agencies were only help to Rey. He asked them to track Kevon as soon as possible. Rey went to racing authorities to get details about Kevon as they sent him to assist dazzlers.

He got an address from there. Neha and Rey went direct to the address but as expected it was wrong. Nobody in neighborhood recognized Kevon's photograph. It was damn clear that Kevon did give all the false details.

Rey's mind was unable to find reasons behind Kevon's lying. "Why would he lie? This net seems to be more complicated than it looks." Rey said to Neha while driving the car.

Neha responded, "He always seems a sweet guy. And I and Kria spent lot of time with him doing shopping, site seeing and hanging around"

Rey looked at the sky. It was dull, filled with clouds and restraining sun from spreading light. His situation was somewhere similar.

With first ray of light in morning, Kria decided to do something about her situation. She heard no voice again, no movements around; she decided to try escaping from there.

She kept combating with ropes to loosen them. Her hands were aching badly in course of loosening the rope grips. She managed to get rid of tight knots in sometime.

Walking on feet after almost 24 hours felt like relief to her. House was so big. Covered windows were making it a puzzle for her. She tried to open the door with force but force wasn't needed. It was opened! No lock or anything! It was noon. Sun was harsh on skin.

Kria looked at the house where she was confined. An old farm house painted with rust and dirt, nearby farms and endless view of grass! Kria went back to house to find telephone but it had nothing with which she calls for help.

She started walking in grass. She was bare feet and starving.

Rey was surrounded by police officials. They had some evidence against Kria. He wasn't keen to know about it at all.

Vicky's voice was itching Rey. He was constantly telling Rey that he always had doubt on Kria.

"But I am clueless about her motive." Vicky said.

Rey looked at Neha. She had same storm of emotions in eyes as him. He walked out of room in frustration. Neha made Vicky shut up and told everyone to stop doubting Kria.

Sharon followed Rey to the corridor. While putting her hand on his shoulder she said, "I can understand Rey!"

Rey turned around and looked at her. She continued, "But they got this footage from warehouse. That person in mask is a girl. They have video proof of it."

Rey looked at Sharon appallingly. She slowed down a bit and softened her tone. "See! This is quite expected that Kria will be accused. She didn't find explosive in your car when she checked it and then person tempering with your car happened to be a girl."

Rey held his head in exasperation. He said, "Just don't say anything Sharon. I want to be alone for some time".

Sharon walked away. He kept looking at empty corridor. He wasn't able to convince anyone about innocence of Kria. He wasn't even trying. He introspected himself. Did he doubt her? Can it be a possibility?

He banged his hand on wall out of frustration.

Kria was walking for an hour now. Her skin was burning in harsh sun.

"Why I was kidnapped and then released? I mean how come doors were open? Rey would be so worried about my disappearance. Will he be fine?? Who will try to seed doubt in my mind about Rey?? And why??" She was trying to draw out.

Rey locked himself in room. Being helpless was not a good feeling at all. He was constantly walking in the room.

"She went to Lindsey's and met Kevon and then she disappeared. They both disappeared." He wrecked the flower pot placed on table.

Door knock drew his attention. He took the door. Sharon was standing in front of him.

"Which part of I don't want to talk to anyone' you didn't get?" Rey asked angrily.

She touched his cheek and tried to calm him down.

"Relax Rey! I can't see you like this." She entered the room.

"Sharon! I insist please leave me alone for some time." Rey requested.

She glided her hand down his arm and held his hand. "Okay! As you say! Just don't stress yourself so much! Everything is gonna be fine. We won't let Police put charges against Kria."

Rey turned his back on her. "I am fine! Thanks! I just need time to think." He said

"Okay! Just give a call if you need something." She said and left.

Door got knocked again. Rey was furious and opened it immediately.

"Guys! Leave me alone!" he said while opening the door. There was no one outside the room. An envelope was there lying on floor. He opened it and found some pictures of Kria. She was in car with a guy. She looked different. She wasn't herself.

"Is she drunk?" Rey murmured.

"Who's the guy with her??" he doubted.

"Kevon??" he uttered.

Her pale face and dimmed eyes made Rey's heart cry silently.

"Where are you Kria? I am not getting anything on you." He murmured. He caressed her picture with fingers and put it aside.

He walked out of room with an intention to tell about envelopes and Kria being missing to the gang. He needed help of his friends to reach Kria and dig the truth.

Rey entered Vicky's room. Everyone was waiting for him. Neha gathered them all.

Rey mentioned them everything that how Kria is missing from a night club and how he got some pics of her with Kevon from unknown source. He told them about Kevon being a fraud and Kria's weird behavior before leaving for night club.

"But what if she is not missing and willingly with Kevon." Vicky said after hearing about Kria from Rey.

"You have seriously lost it Vicky. I am unable to get your problem with Kria." Neha scolded him.

Rey was mum. Neha apologized to Rey for Vicky and said not to pay heed to his words.

"Actually Vicky is right." Rey said to Neha.

"After all he knew her all this time. She was the one who consoled him after his car got trashed. She did try her best to repair it so that he gets to participate in race. He knows her well." Rey scoffed.

"Of course I know about her well. What if she herself ruined my car and then pretended to sympathize. Rey! Can't you see enough proofs? Are you that blinded by love to see her real colors?" Vicky uttered.

Rey in anger pull his collar and thrashed him into wall. Ali had to intervene to separate them.

"You are such a hypocrite Vicky! Just because some stupid proofs are against her, you doubt your friend. Why would she ruin your car? How this is gonna benefit her? " Rey blamed Vicky.

"I pity you Rey. I feel for you. You are conning yourself by putting a blindfold. She is with Kevon. Weren't you the one who was sensing and fearing her proximity to Kevon? Why this can't be a possibility?" Vicky ridiculed.

"Enough Guys! Here our friend is missing. She might be in trouble and you two are fighting." Neha said.

"I agree with Neha!" Sharon joined Neha.

"Just think about Kria! I mean we don't know if she is gone by will or someone kidnapped her." Sharon added.

"Kidnap?" Neha asked.

Sharon muddled around a bit and added, "Yeah! That can be a possibility."

Neha kept looking at her for more. Sharon bungled and said, "She just disappeared from Lindsey's. So yeah! It may be a possibility that she is kidnapped."

"But who will do so?" Neha wondered.

Rey's eyes were jammed on Sharon. Sharon was trembling from inside as if she is being unveiled.

"Rey I didn't mean any wrong." She clarified.

"I am sure you didn't." Rey told her and smiled a bit.

Rey returned to room and Sharon's sentence was revolving in his mind.

"I never talked about Lindsey's." Rey murmured.

Rey's mind started seeing Sharon in frame and suspecting her. She knew a little more than him and everyone about this matter. Instance that Kria slapped Sharon, it was strengthening Rey's doubt.

Rey searched the room outright. Each and every corner of it, he didn't leave a corner.

Under the mattress, he found a bundle of scrolls. Reading each and every scroll was clearing the fog.
