CHAPTER NINETEEN :
She was coming toward him now while he looked down to locate the torch with his feet.
'Sweet dreams !' She whisperred and he huffed in annoyance and bent down to take the torch back so he can look at her face clearly again. He took the torch and stood up but before he could look at her the door slammed on his face. He looked confusedly at the closed door and walked back to the living room.
He was about to open the main door to go out and check the electricity when the lights turned on suddenly. He walked back upstairs to his room while thinking about the girl he saw. Sleep was far away from him as he was getting curious to know who she was.
'Sweet dreams really ?' He thought annoyingly and shook his head to get rid of these thoughts and started thinking about a good profession for his son as he had chose already for Ayat to be a doctor.
'I think he should join my business.' He thought after a while of thinking.
'I will discuss this with Zoya tomorrow.' He thought while closing his eyes. He smiled again as he was so much happy today because he was going to be a father again and wished to have a son this time to complete their perfect family.

He was waiting for them at the airport impatiently in the evening when finally three most important women in his life showed up. Ayat came running toward him while Zoya was quietly standing with Dilshad.
'I missed you soo much Ayat.' He said while hugging her tightly and stood up with her in his arms.
'Assalam O Alaikum Ami !' He greeted Dilshad while ignorring Zoya intentionally.
'I misshed you too abu and I made a card for you.' She said excitedly with her dimpled smile while Asad walked toward his car. Zoya looked at Dilshad for help but she shook her head and smiled.
'Where is it ?' He asked while making her sit at the passenger seat with him.
'Itsh in my bag. I will show you when we are home.' She said while Asad kept the luggage and they both sat at the back seat.
'I have a surprise for you Shona. I hope you will like it.' He said while sitting on the driving seat.
'What is it ?' She asked happily.
'Its waiting for you at home.' He said while starting the car and winked at her while Zoya felt more guilty as she was the one who took away Ayat from him.
'Ok. Then letsh drive fast abu.' She said while jumping on the seat impatiently and he increased the speed to reach soon as he was also impatient to see her reaction.
He parked the car while Ayat ran inside the house to see the surprise but after five minutes she came back and looked at Asad who was taking out the luggage from the car while Dilshad and Zoya chuckled at her sad face.
'Abu there is nothing new.' She pouted while Asad smiled and walked inside with her.
'Now close your eyes.' He said to her when they were inside while Dilshad and Zoya were also getting curious by his actions. She closed her eyes but tried to look a little bit while sitting on the couch with Zoya.
'Don't cheat Shonu or I won't give you your gift.' He said sternly and she closed her eyes. He came back after five minutes and placed a Persian white cat in her lap. She opened her eyes and was shocked to see a beautiful and grumpy longhaired cat tickling her legs.
'Is thish for real ?' Ayat asked with her eyes wide open while looking into her dark blue beautiful eyes. Zoya and Dilshad were also shocked to see a cat in the house and that too bought by Asad while Asad was smiling at Ayat's expressions.
'Yes this is a real cat. You liked it ?' He asked as he was not sure what kind of cat she wants.
'I love it.' She said happily while hugging the fluffy cat. Even though he told the servant to wash and clean the cat five times a day but still his OCD hit him hard on his head when Ayat hugged her. He took the cat suddenly from her hand while Ayat looked at him confusedly. Dilshad and Zoya controlled themselves to not laugh as they understood why he took it away.
'Let her play for some time.' He said while placing the cat on the floor and she started playing with a ball. 'And you come here.' He took Ayat again and made her sit on his lap.
'Now tell me were you serious about the elephant aswell ?' He asked confusedly as he was ready to fuffil all her demands right at the moment.
'Allah Miyaan ! Whats wrong with you Asad ?' Zoya exclaimed and that is what he was waiting for. 'Are you mad ? You will bring a elephant here ? You are spoiling her now let her play with the cat only.' Zoya said angrily and looked at him in disbelief who was smiling now.
'I won't spoil her more than I spoiled you Mrs Khan.' said Asad annoyingly and she glared at him. 'Tell me do you want elephant ?' He asked from Ayat again to irritate her.
'Not emephalt. How about we buy a diloshour ?' She asked and raised her eyebrow while Asad looked at her with his eyes wide open. Dilshad and Zoya were giggling at his espressions.
'Come on Mr Khan. Go and get a dinosaur for your daughter.' Zoya teased him this time while he glared at her and she stopped giggling.
'Why do you want a dinosaur now ?' He asked confusedly while Dilshad walked upstairs to her room as she was tired now.
'Sho he can take me to the jungle with him and we both will live there always.' She told him her future plans while stretching her arms at the last words.
'What ? No way ! No dinosaur is coming here. Cat is enough for now.' He said sternly as he couldn't imagine her staying in the jungle. He was planning to make her a doctor and here she was planning to live in the jungle.
'I think we should get a dinosaur. I also love dinosaurs.' Zoya said excitedly to irritate him.
'Yesh !' Ayat pouted while he wasn't sure from where can he buy a dinosaur even if he agrees.
'First we both will go for dinner then we will talk about it.' Asad said to change the topic.
'Where ?' Ayat asked him confusedly.
'Umm how about pizza ?' He smirked.
'I love Pizza.' She said loudly and hugged him happily.
'Mrs Khan please don't make dinner for us. We will try to come back soon.' He said in the same tone while standing up with Ayat.
'What about me ? I also want pizza.' Zoya asked angrily while Asad couldn't tell her that she is not supposed to eat unhiegenic food as he was angry on her.
'Oh ! We forgot her.' Asad said while looking at Ayat.
'Yessh you forgot my poor ami.' Ayat said sadly while looking at Zoya.
'She is not poor Ayat.' He corrected her and looked at Zoya who was looking at him angrily.
'If you say sho.' Ayat sighed sadly.
'Asad this is enough now. I said sorry right then stop annoying me. I am coming with you guys.' She sad annyoingly.
'No you are not. Actually do one thing turn back and go straight to the pool side and take a left from there. Your best friend is waiting for you in that room, she missed you so much that she started annoying me.' said Asad annoyingly while she was shocked to know that.
'Did she tried to harm you ?' She asked worriedly.
'Do you care ?' He asked and raised his eyebrow. She was quiet as she knew it was all her mistake behind his anger while he walked toward the main door.
'Asad if you are not taking me then I promise I will go directly to that room after you leave.' She warned him and he stopped in the midway. She smiled as she saw him turning back.
'Ok fine. Go and ask ami if she wants to come. We are waiting for you in the car.' He said angrily as he knew challenging her was the worst thing in life.
'Thank You.' Zoya jumped excitedly and walked upstairs.
'Can we take the cattie with us ?' Ayat asked while looking at the cat who was already looking at them.
'No actually ---- she --- she needs to sleep now.' He gave a stupid reason while walking outside.

He was done with his meetings when he came back to his cabin. He was getting annoyed from last two days by thinking about the ghost in his house. He leaned back on his seat and tried to think about Zoya instead of anything else. A small smile adorned his lips when he remembered how he was irritating her from last two days and that is when he realized he was missing her badly.
He opened his eyes and took out his cellphone from the pocket and texted her to come here even though he knew she must be sleeping right now as she was sleeping more than usual these days. He thought he will ask Zoya to make a sketch of that girl so he can look at her clearly.

She woke up and groaned in frustration when she saw all the pillows around her left and right which were kept by Asad to make sure she won't fall down because once after their marriage she fell from the bed and slept on the floor as she never realizes while sleeping that she is on the floor or bed. She threw all of them on the floor and sat straight while stretching her arms and yawned.
After getting fresh she checked her phone and smiled when she saw Asad's message.
'Hi ! Can you please come to my office right now ? I need you to sign some papers.' She read it again and again to make sure that he wrote this as he was not talking to her from last two days. She came down to take Ayat with her aswell when she saw her sitting with Dilshad, cat in her hands and she realized that Dilshad was home now.
'Ami I will be back in an hour. I am going to office.' Zoya said to her with a smile and walked out while Dilshad was happy to see her family happy again.

He was waiting for her while looking out of the window when finally after an hour she parked the car outside his office. He pinched the bridge of his nose when he saw her running inside.
'How can she walk so fast ? What if she slips ?' He thought while sitting back on his chair and after five minutes she came inside his room without knocking.
'Hi !' She said happily while sitting infront of him and looked at him who was busy reading a file.
'Hi ! Sign these papers and you can go.' He said still looking at the file and gave her another file. She sighed sadly as she understood he was still angry on her.
'Have you read already ?' She asked while looking on the papers and took a pen from the pen holder while he was still quiet.
'Yes I have read it but you can read it again as I don't want you to blame me afterwards that I overtook your business Mrs Khan.' He said in the same tone and leaned back on the chair covering his face with the file to make sure she can't see him smiling.
She ignored what he said and kept the file back after signing it. She knew he was smiling behind the file so she stood up and walked toward him, took the file from his hand and threw it away.
'What ?' He asked confusedly while looking at her who was sitting on the table infront of him.
'So you won't forgive me ?' She asked sternly.
'I guess I did already.' He reminded her while looking at her angry face.
'But you are still mad at me.' She said annyoingly.
'I am not allowed to be mad even ? Ok sorry for that Mrs Khan. It won't happen again.' He said calmly this time while she groaned in frustration. His calm and composed attitude was killing her. She thought for a while still looking at his face and moved closer to him while sitting on his lap completely and wrapping her arms around his neck.
'Asad ?' She took his name seductively.
'Yes Zoy --- Mrs Khan.' He ran out of words at this close proximity as he knew very well how she was going to distract him from his anger.
'You were missing me right ?' She asked him in the same tone while leaning toward him.
'No I wasn't. I don't care about you anymore.' He said while looking into her deep brown eyes which were an inch away from him now and was waiting for her to close the distance between their lips.
'You still care and I know that.' She said with her dimpled smile still torturing him and pecked her lips on the corner of his lips.
'I -- I don't.' He said sadly as he was expecting a kiss but she moved back after that.
'Then why are you keeping those pillows all around me everytime I sleep ? And why were you looking at me from the window now ? And why did you hide all the cold drinks that were in the kitchen ?' She smirked at him.
'Because I care about my baby.' He said while putting his hand on her stomach. She glared at him and took his hands and wrapped around her waist.
'What about me ?' She asked innocently and he couldn't control himself anymore when she looked at him hopefully.
'I always care about you even if you are far far away from me or even if you are this close to me.' He said with a smile on his face while she finally felt relieved and moved closer to him closing the distance between their lips, kissing his lower lip gently at first.
He held her waist tightly pressing her body with his while her hands were in his hair now. After what felt like eternity she moved back and breathed heavily while he smiled looking at her swollen lips.
'I love you Zoya.' He said while tucking her hair behind her ear.
'I love you too.' She said in low voice while looking into his eyes.
'Not more than me.' He reminded her.
'I have started believing on that.' She sighed sadly and they both chuckled at the very next second as this was the first time she was agreeing on this fact and they both knew very well the reason behind it.
'Stop it now.' She said annoyingly while he was still controlling himself. They both stopped when Zoya's cellphone buzzed in her pocket. She took it out and saw a MMS showing some pictures of Asad hugging Sophia sent by an unknown number.
'What is it ?' He asked her who was still looking at the phone with her eyes wide open.
