Arnav wrapped his arms around Khushi and hugged her.Khushi sighed and did the same.'He loves me 'she thought to herself 'He actually loves me and this time there is no secrets'.Khushi gasped when Arnav picked her up in his arms.She immediately wrapped her arms around his neck "Let's go meet dad" he whispered.Khushi nodded.Arnav took a step forward and then stopped.He looked at Khushi "Oh and Khushi,my name is Arnav..not Panther" Khushi smiled.

"So do I get to see a wedding in the coming future?" asked the General teasingly.

Arnav smiled and wrapped an arm around Khushi.He pulled her closer "She's going to marry me in few coming days"

Khushi widened her eyes and stared t Arnav "What? No way!"

Arnav and the General looked at her alarmed "What? Why?" Arnav asked,scared at her reaction.

Khushi crossed her amrs against her chest "You didn't propose"

Arnav widened his eyes while the General chuckled "What but I already did and you even said yes that time so why not now?"

Arnav looked at his dad but he just shrugged "It's her choice" the General said.

"Fine" agreed Arnav "Now please leave the room dad"

The General scrunched his eyes "Why should I leave?"

"Because I don't want anyone to see me on my knees" Arnav whispered.The General chuckled as he left.Arnav sighed as he turned towards Khushi,who was trying to hide her smile.Arnav got on his knees on the ground and looked up at Khushi.He smiled at her as he took out a small,pink and brown case and opened it.Khushi gasped at the ring's simplicity and beauty "Khushi,I have been waiting for about three years to ask you this question..you can't imagine how happy I am right now...even though I have asked you before,I will ask you again..Khushi,will you give me the pleasure of being by my side,my wife,mother of our future children and most importantly,my love..Khushi,after everything that we have been through,will you marry me?"

Khushi blinked back tears of happiness and nodded.Arnav slid the ring on Khushi's finger and stood up.Khushi leaped into Arnav's arms,grinning "Arnav,you didn't have to get on your knees and proposed like that..but I loved it anyways" Arnav rolled his eyes 'Oh I had to' thought Arnav with a small smile.

"So you will marry me for sure" he confirmed.

Khushi giggled "Yes"

After a few minutes,they parted.The General came back into the room and smiled "Looks like it's a yes"

Arnav nodded "It was always a yes"

About half an hour later,the priest came and gave the dates "The closest are two days from now or three weeks"

"Hmm,I think three weeks will be fine" said the General.

"What?" exclaimed Arnav "Three weeks is too long"

"And two days are too short" replied Arnav's father.

"I think two days are better" argues Arnav "After all,you can't actually trust me to stay away from Khushi for that long"

"Hmm" the General began thinking.

"I think three years is bad enough" added Arnav.Khushi nudged Arnav,trying to make him stop.He looked at Khushi "What? It's true"

"Fine" agreed the General "You guys will get married within two days"

"Great" cheered Arnav "Now let's go Khushi"

"What? Where are you going with her?" asked the General.

"I thought it was obvious" said Arnav "I am taking you on a date"

Arnav stopped in front of a theater "We're watching a movie?" asked Khushi.

Arnav nodded "I have tickets for your favorite movie"

"Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge?" Arnav nodded "Yay!" cheered Khushi "You're the best Arnav"

Khushi kissed Arnav's cheek "Wow" said Arnav,touching his cheek "I wonder if I did something better,what you would've done"

Khushi blushed "Come on,let's go.I don't want to miss the movie"

Khushi and Arnav took their seats in the theater,While the movie was playing,Khushi was totally involved in the movie while Arnav was involved in her.He kept on distracting her,either by playing with her hands and fingers or pulling her towards him and kissing her cheek.After the movies was over,the couple stood up "Wow,that was a great movie" said Arnav.

Khushi widened her eyes and mouth went in a perfect O "Were you even watching the movie or were you watching me?"

Arnav shrugged "Not my fault I found you more interesting" Khushi opened her mouth to reply back but Arnav just took her hand and took her to the car.After sitting in the car,Arnav turned towards Khushi "The night isn't over just yet"

Arnav took her to a restaurant with a romantic atmosphere.There weren't too many people there.There were candles and lanterns lighting up the restaurant.Roses of all colors were in a vase on each table and there was nice,soft music playing.Arnav and Khushi sat on a table near the window "Arnav,it's 9 pm.Maybe we should start heading back.What if dad starts worrying" said Khushi.

"You worry too much Khushi" said Arnav "I already told dad,we would be a bit late.Even if dad starts worrying,he can always call"

Khushi nodded and opened her menu.After a few minutes,the waiter came "Hello sir and ma'am,may I take your order"

Arnav gestured Khushi to order first.Khushi turned to the waiter "I would like a strawberry milkshake,lassi,four naan,rice with no peas,ten gulaab jamun,five barfi,yogourt,daal,currry,oh and do you have vanilla bean milkshake?"

"Actually ma'am" Arnav gestured to three 500 bills,without letting Khushi see "We do"

Khushi smiled "Great" She turned to Arnav "What would you like?"

The waiter's mouth nearly fell to the ground but Arnav seemed only a bit surprised.He turned to the waiter and gave his order.After the waiter left,Arnav tuned to Khushi "I remember when you ordered food in a restaurant on our first date..looks like your diet has slightly increased" Khushi grinned "By the way,where does all that food go?"

Khuhhshi shrugged "As long as I eat it,I am satisfied"

Arnav chuckled.After a while,their food came.Arnav and Khushi enjoyed their food and each other's company.Khushi explained what she did in the years without him and he explained what he did.By the time they were finished,they're food was also finished.Arnav scrunched his eyes as he noticed come food stuck in the corner of Khushi's mouth.He leaned over the table and wiped it off.Khushi smiled at him.He smiled back and opened his hand,gesturing for a dance.Khushi put her hand in his and they both approached the dance floor.It was a slow dance.The couple were very close to each other and were moving to the beat.After a few minutes,Arnav leaned towards Khushi.Khushi closed her eyes,thinking he would kiss her but he just kissed her cheek and whispered "Let's go"

Arnav and Khushi sat in the car.Arnav surprisingly didn't drive home but to a beach "Arnav,it's 10:30..why are we at a beach?"

Arnav didn't say anything and opened her door.He took her near the water.Arnav took off his shoes.Seeing him do that,Khushi did the same.She gasped when she felt the small waves crash against her feet "I miss mom" Khushi looked up and saw him staring at the stars "She died of cancer when I was 10"

Khushi stepped closer to Arnav and held his hand "I know how you feel Arnav"

Arnavturned towards Khushi and hugged her "This is one of the reasons I fell in love with you"

Khushi hugged him tightly "Never..I promise I will never leave you"
