Dear Aloo-Bert,
There is a reason why you are called a couch potato - no pun intended. Wrap yourself in a snug blanket, watch bad TV shows until you smell like a GYM Sock with halitosis. Ask the Mrs. to remove them, and wash them with warm water. Then make sure she gulps the feet water down.
If you are not done, then get on facebook and like the page of OJ Simpson, if that is not enough then go to a private chat room of wife abusers and start trading different and interesting methods to get ahead!
