Dr. Walia: Don't worry, I understand!

A smile curved onto her lips and lavanya exclaimed in enthusiasm...

La: Really! Thank god..

And she breathed a sign of relief..

Dr Walia: Ofcourse.. But this is normal.. At the beginning, nervousness will always be here.. But as soon as the baby is in your arms, you both will feel the unique happiness of being parents!

And they yelled in unison..

La & Aman: WHAT??

Dr Walia jolted out of shock at the sudden scream of the young couple in front of her... She stared from Lavanya to Aman confusingly...While Aman lowered his gaze blushingly, La yelled out...

La: What are you saying Dr Walia? Me, Pregnant! And That too for Aman.. I think he must learn to have sex first! I'm definitely not pregnant and I'm sure about that! And if by chance I'm having sex with that duffer some unknown day, well we can use that damn condom which is safely kept into his wallet since the last few years!

Dr Walia: Ok...So why are you both here??

La: To talk about the pregnancy of Khushi Gupta!

Her eyes wide open, Dr. Walia glared at Lavanya in surprise!...

Dr Walia: Miss Gupta's pregnancy?? And you are??

La: I'm Lavanya Singh Raizada.. Khushi's best friend!

Dr Walia: Miss Lavanya, I'm really sorry but I cannot discuss any of my patients' reports to anyone... This is personal!

Lavanya turned her gaze towards Aman worriedly.. the latter smiled at her as if to reassure her and he looked at the doctor as he laid his arms on the office table..

Aman: Doctor! I know this is strictly personal.. and no doctor has the right to talk about the reports of their patients.. But we are here for a very important reason.. Please only once, listen to Lavanya.. She's not only the best friend of Khushi but also the sister of the father of Khushi's unborn child... We are here with the hope to save the happiness of two people who cannot live without each other and also the life of an innocent who is not even born.. I know as a doctor, the duty of your existence is to give a new beginning to people.. please Doctor!

While the doctor was left to take a difficult decision, Lavanya couldn't stop staring at Aman.. She was awestruck with the Aman she had next to her right now.. Such determination and such convincing words... No wonder her brother wouldn't let go of him, she thought! And Dr Walia signed as she exclaimed defeated.

Dr Walia: Fine! 5 minutes...

A smile curved onto his lips, Aman turned his eyes to Lavanya who heard no words of the doctor.. She was just staring at Aman with a glint of naughtiness in her eyes.. And suddenly...

Aman: La!

As Aman shook her arms bringing her back from her reverie, Lavanya jerked and said confusingly..

La: What??

And Aman replied in a casual tone...

Aman: Doctor is waiting.. to talk?? Khushi's pregnancy?? Remember..

And she replied in a higher tone..

La: Oh yeah..

Aman nodded funnily at her childlike attitude while Lavanya turned her gaze to Dr. Walia..

Dr: Walia: 5 minutes only...I'm listening... speak up!

La: Hmmm.. Arnav Singh Raizada from AR Designs is my big brother... and Khushi my best friend! She is also the creative head of AR Designs.. and the girlfriend of Bhai!

Meanwhile Aman lowered his head.. and looking at the flashing screen of his mobile, he discretely stood and walked out of the cabin of Dr Walia..

In Raizada Mansion...

Walking from here and there into his room... typing violently onto his blackberry.. it was the fifth time Arnav was calling Aman.. but no answer! And he cursed in irritation...

ASR: What an idiot! I can't believe I have such irresponsible employees...

And suddenly.. speaking in a low tone, Aman said..

Aman: Hello ASR!

Arnav replied in furry..

ASR: Aman you idiot, where the hell are you.. I'm calling since so long...

Aman: I'm sorry ASR, actually today office is closed.. so I completely forgot to change the silent mode of mobile...

ASR: I don't care! Make sure that your mobile is always on.. either it's a holiday or I don't know what.. You got to be reachable as soon as I need you... got it!

Aman: Sorry ASR! It won't happen again...

ASR: Where the hell are you?? And Lavanya?? I want her back home now.. and I want you in office!

Aman's eyes shot open in surprise as he asked...

Aman: Office? But today it's an off day for all staffs, right??

ASR: Not anymore.. All staffs have been informed to reach office before noon.. the meeting with Mr Mehta had to be urgently prepone due to some changes for the fashion show's dates.. Now enough of your useless enquiries.. you have only 15 minutes to be at work.. I want all files prepared before I reach office in half an hour..

And before Aman could say a word, Arnav had disconnected the phone call.. Aman signed restlessly and entered back into the doctor's cabin.. His steps halted behind Lavanya but he stayed silent as he listened to the conversation of the two ladies...

La: I understand your point doctor, but this is not a lie.. I'm asking you to delay the truth.. And Bhai is as responsible as Khushi for this pregnancy! So what is the problem if Bhai finds out about this pregnancy before Khushi!

Dr Walia: It's impossible Miss Raizada.. I wish I could do something.. But Miss Gupta has an appointment today afternoon and I'll have to tell her about the reports... But I can try to dissuade her if she decides not to have the baby.. It won't be a lie, because an abortion is always a risk which any doctor needs to warn the patients..

La: Please doctor help me.. I know Khushi! In haste, she'll take the decision which she thinks is convenient for Bhai... And she has seen so much in her childhood... She'd prefer not to have the baby rather than having a baby without a father's name! Not once she'll think about herself.. her happiness.. What if I stop Khushi from coming for the appointment today?

Aman: Lavanya!

And at the same instant, both ladies turned their eyes to Aman as he interrupted them... Lavanya looked at him questioningly and he said..

Aman: I'm sorry.. I'll have to go to office, ASR just called, it's urgent! And he also wants you back home as soon as possible..

Lavanya give him an acknowledge smile as she replied...

La: Sure you go, I'll take a cab to go back home.. don't worry about me...

Aman: Be safe ok!

Lavanya nodded a Yes and Aman turned away... While Aman walked towards the door, Lavanya looked back at Dr Walia saying...

Dr Walia: Even if Khushi misses her appointment, how do you think I'll inform Mr Raizada? I can't just go to him and tell him "your girlfriend is pregnant and your sister told me to inform you"... It's impossible Miss Raizada..

A wicked smile on her lips.. Lavanya said...

La: Don't worry, I have an idea...

Closing the door, Aman nodded as he murmured to himself...

Aman: Seems like the Raizada wicked mind is back on track!

Some time later...

Striding into his office, Arnav yelled out for his files as he kept on walking towards his cabin.. Aman who luckily arrived some five minutes before, rushed to Arnav with the files for the meeting..

ASR: Where is Khushi??

Aman: The clients arrived earlier and the receptionist said that Khushi is attending to them in your cabin...

As Arnav reached his cabin, he pushed open the door and entered, followed by Aman.. Khushi was standing next to Arnav's chair while two men were sitting opposite her.. And suddenly her fake smile disappeared and with worry she lifted her eyes towards Arnav who approached as he said...

ASR: Mr Mehta...

Mr Mehta, one of the two clients turned on his chair.. and smilingly he stood...

ASR: Welcome to AR Designs...

The two men shook hands... while Mr Mehta said...

Mr. Mehta: Thank you Mr Raizada..

ASR: I hope I didn't make you wait for too long..

Mr Mehta: Oh! No problem.. we had a very warm welcome from your creative head.. such a nice lady!

For a second, he shifted his gaze towards Khushi.. while Mr Mehta said...

Mr Mehta: By the way, please meet my new business partner..

Arnav turned towards the other man.. his back facing Arnav and suddenly before Mr Mehta could introduce him... the man turned on his chair while saying...

Shyam: Shyam Manohar Jha

And this moment was like a hard strike.. Arnav's eyes popped out.. while the latter smirked and stood as he said..

Shyam: Truly, Mr Mehta is right... Such a nice lady.. Your Creative head! What's her name.. Oh Yeah.. Miss Khushi.. But I will call her Khushi ji!

He turned his evil gaze towards Khushi..

Shyam: Is that ok with you Khushi ji??

Khushi fixed him with an angry glare and Arnav clenched his fists in furry...

He smirked and turned to Arnav.. Ignoring his killing daggers, Shyam extended his hands as he exclaimed..

Shyam: Oh by the way.. nice meeting you Mr Raizada...

Arnav fixed into Shyam's eyes and then lowered his gaze to Shyam hands...

Sitting at the extremity of the board room, Arnav clenched his fists in anger.. As his gaze turned to the evil smirk of Shyam, he almost lost his temper but suddenly Khushi entered the room and stood next to him.. A comforting smile of Khushi was enough to make him understand that the time was not right to burst out, at least not among such important clients... His problem was only Shyam and he could deal with him later..

ASR: I guess all clauses are ok Mr Mehta.. the only issue is to find some models for an urgent ramp walk.. My models are available but you want Indians.. and that too into bikinis! It might take some time!

Mr Mehta: Well Mr Raizada.. My new partner, Mr Jha and I had an idea.. I guess we already found our showstopper.

Lavanya pushed open the door and her eyes shot open in surprise. She made a funny face and turned around as she said teasingly...

La: I've not seen anything, I swear...

Instantly Arnav and Khushi looked towards the door.. Khushi's cheeks turned crimson red and Arnav frowned irritatingly at the disturbance!
