Garima pulled the pallu of her saree carefully over her head as she crossed her courtyard to go over to Ratna's house. She greeted Subadhra, who was reading a newspaper over the porch swing and went straight inside and climbed the flight of steps towards Ratna's room. She knocked and entered the room to find Ratna segregating her new and old sarees.

"Arre Bhabhi. Come, sit. How come you are here at this time? I thought you will be eagerly waiting for Bhai saahab to come from his short business trip..." Ratna teased Garima, keeping her work aside and sitting next to Garima.

"Kya Bhabhi, aap bhi na?" Garima generously blushed☺️ and looked away.

"Okay, fine. I will not tease you. Tell me how did your mood suddenly change? Till a few days back you were upset with Shashi Bhai ji to go to another city to expand his business and now look at you today blushing like a new bride..."

"Wohh, I felt really bad for being so uncooperative daikha .. i said na!! khushi was also not co operating wth arnav 😆 inherited this from garima 😉with him. I know he is expanding the business to make Khushi and our lives better. But I can't help but be scared at the thought of him being in an unknown city. We don't have anyone other than him and the thought of losing him..." Garima shuddered slightly, dispelling bad thoughts.

"Why do you think negatively, Garima? If you will think like this, how will Bhai ji get the motivation to do better?" Ratna explained to a 32 year old Garima who was like her younger sister.

"I know but I was too late to realize this. He left the house when he was upset with me and now I am feeling bad...It has never happened that we have not been talking for this long"

"And you want to appease😉 him?" Ratna asked in understanding.

"Yes. I was thinking to wear this saree. Is it nice?" Garima pulled out the pink saree from the bag she had brought with her.

"This is beautiful. Bhai ji will be very impressed tonight😉" Ratna said approvingly with a wink😉 "Do one thing, cook something nice as well lol only a raizada can give this idea ..''cook'' , ''eat'' ,'' food'' .. lol . A way to a man's heart is through his stomach"

"Okay, I will. Have you tried anything new?"

"Yes, let me get the recipe for you" 😆Ratna said, getting up from the bed and going over a cabinet to get the recipe book out.

"Here it is. Bhabhi, let Khushi sleep here tonight" Ratna said, naughtily.😆

Garima turned crimson at the suggestion "Bhabhi, we have been married for over twelve years now and you are talking like this..."

"So what? Keep the love alive"haayee .. samrtwa ⭐️

Khushi stood at the doorway listening to her Amma and Badi Amma's conversations, not able to understand if her father was coming back this evening why does she have to spend the night in Badi Amma's house. Not that she minded. It's just that she found it very strange. Shrugging her shoulders, Khushi knocked at the door, entering Ratna's room holding her science books in her hands.

What Khushi didn't know that what she overheard will be helpful to her much later...
