This update was really not upto the mark... even i'm not satisfied with it. 😔 But there is a really interesting twist in Arnav's CS here. hope you will like the new turn of events...!

Chapter 4-

Teenage... the most dangerous yet a memorable period. We cherish, we regret, we do mistakes, we try, we fail, we love, we hate, we do everything that is humanly possibly in that course of time. The only thing that we wouldn't know is that we are not focused and firm on whatever decision we take. We rebel, we fight, we argue, we hurt and most of all, sometimes we hurt ourselves; though not physically... we definitely leave a mark on our mind.

Mistake! That I never did before. I knew what my limits were; still I wanted to explore... go beyond all the boundaries just to satisfy my temporary happiness. A happiness which made my heart flip for a second. Happiness which I knew only existed in my dreams and never come true. Happiness which I knew was out of range but I wanted to give it a try, giving a damn to all those things that truly held most precious in my life. And that one happiness had cost too much! And here I'm today completely changed! And damn I can't forget that mistake ever... I, khushi kumari gupta had done a mistake of falling for a guy in her life and never ever I'm gonna repeat it! EVER!

You can call it anything... infatuation, like, love, madness anything... but yeah I was crazy about a person in my school days and I will definitely be damned if I fell for a guy again! With this thought in mind I followed NK and Mr.Se-- NO! Arnav...

We were comfortably seated in our chairs in the library and NK was going on with all that happened in the previous year. How many tests... what type of designs... teachers... timings... discipline... expectations... co-curricular activities etc etc., I tried to put in as much input as I can but mainly couldn't because all my focus were restricted to only one thing... his face! He paid very strict attention to whatever NK was saying making it easy for me to drool on him and not being caught...

His face was something as fascinating as a flower because and each and every time he heard something new or confusing his right eye brow would raise up a little... just a little indicating that something doesn't fit or may be like that... he had very unique features.. I had never noticed any guy at such close proximity, not even him! At that time I realized that Mr.Sexy has the most enchanting eyes I had ever seen! I always kind of liked to see other's eyes to see the uniqueness in them... I myself had hazel green eyes which were not quite very normal. And this guy sitting in from of me had a caramel brown eye... very deep brown which was too rare just like mine. I couldn't help myself than to stare at his eyes... just then he turned towards me and caught my eyes watching him very intently. I turned my eyes away... heat was forming on my cheeks as I knew I was caught and this is THE most embarrassing situation I've ever come across until now...! What will he think?!

Hmm... so is that all? He asked looking at me though I don't know for whom that question was directed to...

Yeah! Pretty much that's it dude... NK said getting up and I had no choice just to smile sheepishly at him and get going with NK.

Ok...! He said and gave a little nod. Can't he smile? I wondered and checked my watch, then gasped!

Hey there's only 10 mins left for the lunch to get over...! I shrieked...

Hush...! I heard the librarian saying and looked around to see that most of the people in library looking at us...!

Relax khush... come first let's get out of here... NK said and we trio made our way out. I couldn't help but stare at the vast expanse of Mr.Sexy's back which was so manly that I really wondered if he was just a student! He can be clearly Mr.India you know...! I sighed.

As we came out Mr.India... no no Mr.Sexy... NO! Arnav turned the other way and was walking ahead... I wondered why he acts likes this. He is new to college and doesn't he need someone's company to have lunch? I'm pretty much sure that he doesn't know anyone around here too...! And yes! How can we forget? We never had proper introductions with him... before I could even think what I'm supposed to say I was tagging behind him and called out,

Hey wait!

Yeah? He asked raising his right eye brow again. By the mean time NK was also by my side...

I'm khushi gupta...! I said smiling at him.

I know! So? How rude! My smile faded away... here I; was the best introvert was making friends and this chit of a guy... no Mr.Sexy was royally ignoring me? ME?! I was fuming from inside and I guess NK knew that about how short tempered I am and said quickly,

Hey dude... she was just trying to have a proper introduction you know... we missed on that actually...! I am NK...aka Nandkishore...NK said his stupid smile intact.

Arnav... Arnav Singh Raizada...he said with so much authority as though he is the president of India...! Huh! I huffed and turned my face away...

So how come you joined in mid-semester? NK asked again.

Uh-um... we just got shifted to Delhi few weeks ago... he was a little hesitant. I wonder why...

Oh great..! Where are you from then?

He was about to answer I guess but just then Arnav's phone rang and he excused us and went a little ahead. I could see he just talked in monosyllable and soon disconnected the call and joined us back...

Uh... I need to go! Emergency... will see you guys tomorrow...

But what about the rest of the classes? I asked. I didn't want to see him go for god only knows why; though however frustrated and angry on him I was...

Yeah and what about the lunch? NK asked concerned for his new friend!

I'm heading back home so I'll have it there... bye! And he vanished walking very fastly. I had a strong strange urge to follow him and and... I don't know... but I badly wanted to follow him! Well I let him go... he is not important anyway... Is he?!

Ok then plan fixed...! We will go and catch a movie this weekend...! And it's your treat karan... aman said after we all had lunch and decided to bunk the next 2 class's just to plan for the weekend...!

Oh sure buddy...! You can count on me... karan winked at everybody. He had this strange habit of winking for each and everything..!

Then plan fixed guys...! We are going to have a blast this weekend!!! I and la said together...

Count me out guys...! Misha said. This was expected. She never liked to hang out on weekends... she usually says she loves to spend time in home. But we all knew how much she dreads to go home as her younger cousin brother annoys the hell out of her... it was like her own little secret. She would close herself up in her room for the whole weekend and no one knows what she does!

Mish... you can't do this to me dear...! It's a celebration for my relationship... Please come...! Sheetal pleaded her.

Yeah mish... come na... said la. I just remained silent, Like sort of a revenge type against misha for yesterday; when she didn't care when I was actually hurt by her...! I know its childish...But this time I really didn't wanted her to come!

No yaar... tum log jante hona that I like to spend my weekends in home... misha said as though she was irritated. Why wouldn't she? This was the most boring argument that takes place every time when we make plans on weekends...

Its ok fine... but you have to join us the next time...ok mish? Asked karan giving a nod towards sheetal just to end the conversation.

Yeah sure...! But now I have to head to the central library...bye! She said and ran away. Misha was crazy about novels specially vampire novels...! She used to read everything about them; borrowing the book from central library...I was just staring at her retreating back when I heard NK,

Kabhi kabhi to mujhe lagta hai that misha vampire hai...

Mujhe bhi... la said supporting NK.

Tum log bhi na... shayad bhagwan ne jab tum dono ko banaya hoga na tab dimag ke badle gobar daldiya bheje mein...I remarked.

Absolutely right khush...! Karan said winking at me again! But this time I noticed how suddenly sheetal went stiff. I wonder why? But let it go...

Ok chalo guys...we are getting late... let's leave... said aman and we all headed towards the bus stop...

Khushi kaisa tha vo? Asked la walking beside me... like yesterday karan and sheetal walked ahead of us and aman and NK behind...

No di! I'm getting late for office and upon that I have to catch with some work in college too...

Ufff...! Is there any need for you to go to college? For god's sake chotey you are an MBA graduate from Harvard!!! And this thing for which you are going to college and doing all these... they are not important anymore in our lives... can't you just forget the past and move on?

This is the nth time we are having this discussion di... and this will be the last time I'm telling you...I've already moved in on my life... and I'm going to college for my own benefit and you very well know that! so please don't probe this matter further!

He has gone to some meeting chotey... I don't know where exactly but I guess you know about it...

In response he heard only her hmm...he turned around to see his di lost in thoughts... he knew his one decision of coming here was not well settled with her but alas he surely had to settle some score with someone until then he will never be in peace. He turned around and went near her and placed a hand on her shoulders and said,

Everything will be just alright di... you need not worry!

I'm not worrying for me chotey... it's you!

Me? What about me? I'm perfectly fine di!

Stop doing this to yourself chotey... I know you care for us and you have given a lot for all of us... please stop this madness of yours to achieve something which was not at all your dream in the first place!

What are you talking about di? He turned his face around so that she could not see him. He never ever wanted anyone to know what's going on in his mind... not even his di! He always preferred to be aloof from all these things be alone and that is what he will always do... coz he knew only loneliness can be his companion.

Please stop being alone!!! Share whatever you want with us chotey... I can't see you struggling everyday with your own self and just putting up a brave and arrogant mask in front of us! It's not going to work anymore...!

He really had had enough for today... he really can't manage another session of his sister's concern or him! He knew his sister loved him too much but it wasn't in him to have such patience to listen to her nor open up to her... she was just not the person. And for a fact he never found a person to open up or talk with freely... he was always just ALONE!

I'm getting late di... see you later! Bye and with that Arnav Singh Raizada was gone leaving behind a very depressed di who was hell worried about her brother who was just going into a shell of his own.

Hey guys i know my updates recently have been very irregular... but i am too caught up with the real world!!! and also my exams are from next week and soon after there's my sister's marriage... i really cant take out time for penning down updates in this much rush... so please bear with my absence for a little while...
