Part 30
Anant and Navya were getting ready in their respective homes and wondering if there friends were coming to pick them up. They both got texts from their friends saying to make it there themselves. They replied not arguing. Navya and Anant set off.
They both entered in opposite directions not knowing that they were around each other. Minding their own business they went into the gardens of the restaurant and waited there. They were standing quite far from each other and wouldn't be able to recognise each other. Navya stood there looking at her phone. Her friends were meant to be here 10 minutes ago. "Typical girls.. they never are on time!" Navya mumbled. Anant looked at his watch and then his phone. "Where are these boys? Never on time.. they dont value time at all!" Anant looked annoyed. The group split up and hid in bushes and watched them. The two of them were walking in a backwards direction looking around everywhere to see if they could spot anyone. "Sorry" they both said. They turned around to see who it was and were shocked to see each other. There was complete silence. The boys and girls high fived each other because they finally met each other after so long. Anant was speechless. He was shocked. He looked at Navya's changed avtar into a western girl. Navya too was shocked. Her eyes watered as she saw the love of her life infront of her. They stood like that for a few minutes. "Yaar why are they not saying anything? Its so boring!" Harry muttered. Ranbir punched him and told him to shut up. "Anant... you here?!" Navya asked. Anant turned angry. "So what if I am here is there a problem?" Anant answered. Navya was upset that he wasnt happy to see her. He turned around to walk back. Navya held his hand and stopped him. "Anant just listen to me!" Anant pulled his hand away from her hold. This jerked her and tears fell from her cheeks. "Why should I listen to you? Why? Did you ever listen to me? No na!" Anant tried to walk away. "Anant but you never gave me the chance to explain myself!" Navya added. Anant turned around. He approached Navya, he grabbed her tightly by her arms. Navya was hurt. "Navya.. I have always let you free but you didn't even answer my calls.. I rang you so many times just to wish you for two minutes.. to tell you how much I love you but you didn't have time for me... you were too busy with your new friends.. and god knows if you have an new boyfriend!" Anant cried his eyes out. Navya was shocked. "Anant for god sake... I was partying with my friends.. I was having fun but I was in hospital damn it! Somebody spiked my drink okay, I nearly got molested but my friend saved me!" she pushed Anant away from him. She screamed. Anant was left shook and speechless. He couldn't believe what he just heard. His Navya was in hospital and he was bothered about her not answering.. thinking she was ignoring him. She fell to the floor on her knees as she broke down in tears. Anant went down with her and held her hand. "Navya...navya.. I'm!" Anant cried too. He moved closer to her and pulled her to his chest. He brushed his fingers through her hair. "Navya.. I am sorry.. I really am! I am an idiot.. a fool to think my angel.. would even ignore me! I am so sorry Navya.. I am your culprit.. for not thinking about you.. for not letting you share your feelings with you!" he kissed her forehead and cradled her. Navya moved out of his arms and looked at him. "Anant.. I am sorry for ignoring you...I didn't know it would leave you so hurt!" Navya added. "Its okay Navya.. I understand now... I love you a lot.. I have been lost without you!" Anant expressed his love for her. "I love you too Anant!" Navya added. The gang came out of the bushes and clapped. "WOOP WOOP!" Shraddha shouted. They were shocked to see them come out of the bushes. "Guys you were here!" Navya looked at them angrily. "Arey Navya are you the only one that can surprise?" Ritz added. Navya looked angry. Anant looked at Navya. "Navya.. why are you in Mumbai? Are you not meant to be in NY still?" Anant enquired. Navya held his hand. "Anant.. actually I was still meant to be there but my friends there surprised me to a trip here for a few weeks!" Anant looked ecstatic. "YEAH!" he hugged her tightly. "That means you get to spend time with me!" Anant added. Navya nodded. "Ey Anant ji.. Navya is not only for you.. she is for us too... she is our sister before your girlfriend so we have first right!" Appy added looking angrily at Anant. Ranbir shook his head. "Anant bhai.. dont get tangled in this sister business.. you will get beaten.. let them have first pick!" Ranbir added. Ritz gave him an angry look which he tried to make her understand. "No way.. Navya is mine.. I love her so I have first right!" Anant grabbed her tightly. Navya smiled to herself as she felt her world being restored back to normal. The scent of Anant's perfume made her smile. She engrossed herself in his chest. "I love you Mr Bajpai!"
He kissed her forehead. "Ey.. all of you now can you give me some privacy.. so I can romance my girlfriend in peace!" Anant demanded. Everyone argued with him. They finally left. "Bye love birds!" they shouted. Navya got embarrassed. "Why are you getting shy angel?" Anant looked at her. "Because I am a girl.. idiot!" Navya replied. Anant laughed. "What an excuse!" Navya punched his stomach. "Anant all you know how to do is pull my leg.. I have been here so long and you didn't even wish me a Happy Birthday nor give me my present!" Navya turned around angrily and folded her arms. Anant pulled her closer and he wrapped his arms around her. "Madam... for your information I didn't know that you were going to magically appear in India today and your present well I didn't buy you one because I didn't have any pocket money!" Navya pulled away. "Anant!" she got even more angry. Anant grabbed her hand and spun her around quickly. She fell on his chest and her heartbeat raised. "It doesn't matter if I couldn't get you a present.. I will create one.. something that doesn't need money!" his warm breath was contracting her ear. She felt funny inside. "Anant.. somebody will see!" she replied with her eyes closed. "Dr Navya Mishra.. Happy Birthday... I love you more than anything on this world!" he pecked her ear. He slowly moved her around to see her face. He cupped her cheek and slowly neared her other cheek to kiss it. He planted a kiss on her cheek. "I love you Anant.. I thought I had lost you!" she hugged him tightly. He wrapped his arms around her and closed his eyes. They could feel each other's heartbeat.
He took Navya inside the restaurant by holding her hand and booked the table near the poolside. Navya was so happy. "Mr Bajpai.. I thought you were poor and you didn't have any pocket money?" Navya questioned him laughing. "Navya.. you.. well madam have you heard of a credit card?" he winked at her. She laughed. He pulled the chair out like a gentleman and made her sit down. Navya felt really special. Anant too sat down and held her hand. "Navya.. I know your birthday has gone.. but we can still make up for the time we lost.. I want to make this evening special for you!" he kissed her hand and they decided to order some food.
Precap: It is raining heavily and Anant's car has broken down.. they find shelter in a hut. Anant lights a fire to keep Navya warm and wraps her up in a blanket. Navya hugs Anant. He kisses her cheek and they move closer to kissing each other on the lips.
