CHAPTER 7

zoya sat in asads room in her bridal gown and all her jewellery .. asad and phupi were seeing of the last of the guests .. zoya heard voices coming closer to the room . her stomach felt weird .. she was nervous and in shock ! she was married to asad ! this had to be some kind of dream ! zoyas eyes brimmed with tears of happiness ! after 2 long years - finally everything was right ! everything was perfect !

zoya was snapped out of her thoughts as the door opened and asad walked in ! he looked more handsome everytime she saw him ! he was wearing a black sherwant with a hint of red at the sleevends ! zoya wanted to look down but she couldnt tear her eyes away from him ! and he stared back at her but zoya couldnt read his expression ! it was blank and cold and then he smiled - and walked towards her - zoya was lost !she felt her legs lifting her up and he was standing in front of her !

he took her hand and bent down and kissed it ! zoyas every nerve in her body reacted ! she felt a tingling sensation in her body and a shiver ran through her ! asad noticed and he moved foward and rubbed his hands up and down her arms ! he bent down and whispered - better ? zoya smiled and nodded

asad slowly moved his hand from her arms and lifted it to her head to remove he dupatta ! zoya knew what this woul lead to and she was ready , to be with asad and to become his in every possible way ! happiness filled her and she reacted to his touch! zoya lifted her hand and touched his face !asad closed his eyes !

asad knew what he wanted and that was to make zoya feel pain and hurt for what she did to him ! he walked into the room ready to let her know she fell into his trap and he saw her sitting there ! love in her eyes ! and his mind went blank ! she was standing and he had an urge to just touch her so he kissed her hand and he felt her reaction she shivered at his touch ! and it pleased him - he still affected her ! asad didnt know what he was doing .. he reached for her dupatta and pulled it off - as he did that zoya lifted her hand and touched his face .. her hand was so soft - asad lost all control ! he lifted zoya in his arms ! he walked with her to the bed and placed her down on the bed and as asad tried to move away a piece of zoyas lehenga had got hooked to his sherwani , pulling him down with her so that he was just an inch away from her ! asad felt zoyas breath get heavier and her hand was at his neck pulling him down to her ! her lips looked so perfect , he was ready ! ready to let everything go and forget everything she did to him and he bent down slighly more closer to her ...

zoya couldnt wait any longer ! asad was on top of her - just a breath away ! uncounsiously her hand moved to his neck and she pulled him to her ! asad moved closer to her and she closed her eyes waiting to feel his lips on hers ! and then she felt his breath at her ear and he whispered , why did you choose ayaan ?

zoya opened her eyes shocked and she stared into the coldest , hateful eyes of asad ! and he said it again ! why did you choose ayaan !

zoya was in shock ! her mouth was dry , and asad grabbed her from the bed and he said ! i asked you a question ! i want an answer ! and he turned away from her . zoya reached to touch him ! asad , she whispered with fear ? and she touched his shoulder !

asad turned and grabbed her and pushed her against the wall ! did you really think i could just forget everything ! i look at you and i imagine you with him ! tell me zoya ,did you really think i would marry you for love ! you are nothing to me ! the only reason i live is to hate you ! you chose my brother ! you left me wth no explanation ! his grip on her tightened and zoya bit her lip in pain ! tears were rolling down her face ! asad please she begged ! and he pushed her against the wall and said ! zoya - you betrayed me and broke my belief in love ! i will make sure you are never happy again ! and he walked out of the room ! leaving a shocked and broken zoya crying on the floor !

next morning

zoya woke up , her head throbbing with pain - after asad left she cried herself to sleep ! it was her own fault ! she should have known that asad would want an explanation !

zoya ! dilshaad called through the door ! are you awake ? breakfast is ready !

coming - zoya said softly !

15 min later - zoya arrived dressed in her old salwaar and sat down to eat - noora and najma were discussing something about to wear , asad was nowhere to be seen she searched for him - dilshaad noticed and leaned over to whisper , asad had an important meeting , he will be back soon ! now eat zoya ! you hardly eat anything these days ..

so zoya , are you ready for tonight ? najma came and asked her , just as asad walked in !

whats tonight najma ? zoya enquired !

zoyaaa , najma looked fake shocked ! tonight is your walima ! im soo excited ! you and bhaijaan should wear matching colours ! ok bhaijaan ! najma went and hugged asad , who didnt bother to look at zoya !

of course najma , i will co ordinate with zoya , but do me a favour , will you ? please invite ayaan and his wife for tonight ! im sure zoya would love to see them ! and he walked off ...

asad sat in his bedroom ! tonight will be a day zoya never forget ! zoya will wish she never met me ! and asad smiled a develish smile !
