Sasha straightened out her skirt berating herself for wearing the short one with the slit on the thigh today. The guards outside had been warned to let her know when the Khuranas came in and she had just received a text saying that one of them was on the way in. She picked up her file, pretending to be extremely busy. She looked over the folder to see the loiterers chatting away, some playing games on their computer knowing that many of them would be on the receiving end of a scolding when Dev Khurana came in.

That is why when Maan Khurana walked in, she swayed with giddiness almost dropping her folder. While Dev was adorable and a friend, she had drooled over Maan even when he was a teenager. Maan had been a long time crush of hers although he gave her as much notice as a fly on the wall. She could give her right arm, no make that both arms and feet to be his girlfriend.

She watched him now coming in with his powerful strides into the lobby and people started falling into flustered piles in their cabins appearing suddenly busy.

It was the best news Geet could get this early in the morning. As Kabir dropped her off at KC, he shyly mentioned the rokka ceremony from a couple of nights before. Geet's face was beaming with the news. Kabir continued thanking her for her support as he talked about his new job. His face was joyous and she did not have the heart to tell him that she was getting late. At last, she stuck her hand out to congratulate him and he shook it enthusiastically.

Two pair of chocolate eyes had frosted over angrily watching the scenario from the conference room. He could recognize her anywhere though she looked different in the knee length dress she had on. Her hair was loose and his body tautened in memory of all the dreams he had of burying his face in the long tresses. When she thrust her hand out for a handshake, his jaw took on a stone like shape. Two years. Two years and she had changed so much.

It was the angry opening of the door at the same time that the person outside was opening it that caused the collision.

The object of his thoughts for the last few minutes lay sprawled all over his frame as they both tumbled down.

Two years. It has been two years that I have been dreaming of this moment. At last I am in his arms. I close my eyes in bliss not wanting to ever move from here but it is the conference room and anyone could be coming over. I reluctantly open my eyes to find him looking at my lips. I blush with his gaze. His eyes are always my undoing. I remember what his diary's last page had revealed to me. He was mine. My heart is out of control with the thought.

He looks so handsome close up that I reach under my eyelids and take some kajal in my fingers and apply it to the back of his ears. Haiyee! Kissi ki nazaar na lage!

I step out of the shower and into my room wrapping a towel around my lower half to find the creature in my room. "Kaun ho tum?", I ask the person who is lost in a trance looking at me.

"Swami. Hum Manish---a hai".
