Chapter 2 : One lakh rupees and Necklace
It was morning now .
Both Arnav and Khushi were sleeping on their bed .
Arnav was sleeping over Khushi's belly .
Khushi woke up . Since she was so much used to her own home that before opening eyes he dint even realised that it is her sasural .
And just as she opened her eyes and found everything different there , here eyes became watery remembering Garima .
Then her eyes caught sight of Arnav who was sleeping over her .
She smiled lightly and thought "You are my world now Arnav .I promise you that I will give you every happiness that I can ."
Manorama "Nayi dulhan !!!! Open the door !!!! Arnav ?? Its 8 am . Wake up ."
Arnav woke up and saw Khushi staring over her . He gave a smirking look to her and kissed on her cheeks .
Khushi went in bathroom and Arnav opened the door .
Manorama came inside "Khushi bitiya . Get ready fast . Today is your muhdikhayi ."
Manorama looked at Arnav and asked him "Hmm !! Now you are married mister . So , thinking to do any work or will sit idle forever ."
Arnav came near to Manorama and asked her to speak low "Maa !! I will start my own work . I have everything set in my mind .Just you have to help me on time ."
Manorama sighed and left .

Muh-dikhayi Rasam :
Everyone came to Khushi and praised her .
Some of the neighbours gave some expensive gifts and money too .
Manorama thought "Atleast she is useful somehow ...huh"
Buaji (neighbour) gave a light necklace of gold .
Manorama and Anjali's eyes were just on it . They wanted to have it anyhow .
Anjali "Amma ...!! Look at that !!!"
Manorama "Dont worry Anjali ...It will soon be ours ."
Everyone left from there giving so many blessings to Khushi .
Manorama "Aa ...Khushi !!! Take everything to your room and keep everything safely ...okay"
Khushi smiled a little and took everything with her .

Next day :
Khushi was so much happy today . She was going to meet Garima .
It was pag phere rasam .
Manorama came to Khushi and gave her some sweets to give to Gaima from their side .
Khushi was getting ready in room .
Meanwhile , Arnav goes to Manorama to talk about his future work .
Arnav "Amma !! I want to start my work and I want 1 lakh rupees for that."
Manorama's eyes widens "1 lakh rupees ? Are you mad ? You arent even stammering while asking for 1 lakh rupees ."
Arnav "Maa !! I need it ...Please !!! Its for mine and Khushi's future .Now i want to give Khushi a happy married life . She is so good maa."
Manorama thought "Ye kya ? My son is falling for that Khushi .No ...I wont let this happen "
Manorama said to Arnav "You are right Arnav ...I think you should be given a chance for your future ...But son I dont have any money for now ..."
Arnav "But amma then ...?"
Manorama "Waise Arnav for sometime you can ask for money from your saas ."
Arnav looked in shock at her .
Manorama "Arey ...I am just saying to ask money for sometime .When I will have money I will give them .otherwise when your work will be good , you can give them back . Right ?"
Arnav agreed somehow at this . But still he had a feeling that how will he ask ?
He went to his room .
Khushi "Chaley Arnav ji ?"
They left . Khushi touched everyone's feet and left .
All the way arnav was in dilemma as to how to ask ?

Khushi's house :
Garima welcomed Arnav and Khushi . Khushi hugged garima and bursted out crying .
Garima took Khushi inside for sometime leaving Arnav sitting with some neighbours .
Garima "Khushi bitiya !!!! Everyone is good there nah ?"
Khushi "Haan Amman ...everyone is very good there . But you are not there ."
SHe hugged Garima and was crying .
Outside Arnav was having a conversationg with neighbours . They were asking silly questions and some funny things to him .
Lavanya was Khushi's friend and their neighbour also .
She asked to Arnav "Jeeja ji !!! How was your suhaagraat ?"
Evevryone laughed . Arnav felt a bit shy and continuously kept looking at Lavanya . He was watching her laughing . His eyes were only on her .
He felt something inside him on seeing her . Lavanya was so beautiful and attractive .
Khushi "Suniye ...Arnav ji !! You should not sit with her (Lavanya) .She has no shame . She will kill you only by asking such questions ."
Arnav smirked at Lavanya and said "I also like such questions "
Lavanya felt so strange by his look at her .
She left from there .
It was lunch time now .
Khushi went outside to meet some of her neighbours .
It was Garima and Arnav now only .
Arnav "Amma !! I want to ask something to you . I hope you wont feel bad . Please dont take me wrong but..."
Garima "Say Damad ji ..."
Arnav "You know that now Khushi is my responsibilty . And i want to give her a best future with me ."
Garima felt relieved on listening this .
Arnav "So i want money to start my work . I want 1 lakh rupees for this . I will return you as soon as possible ."
Garima felt shocked for a second "But Arnav bitwa ...You know that we have taken loan for Khushi's marriage ."
Arnav "You can put this house for giving money "
Garima "Bitwa ...This is our ancestors house .We cant do this ...And Khushi's fatehr have never asked anything from his relatives and so i m following his steps . I cant ask from anyone ."
Arnav got angry "You can say a clear no Amma .Dont make things more complicated Say directly that you dont want to give ."
Garima "Nahi Arnav Bitwa ..."
Arnav left from there .
Lavanya listened everything .
Khushi returned home and asked for Arnav .
Garima started crying and said "He left Khushi ..."
Khushi "Left ...where ?"
"To his home "
"but why ? He left me alone here "
Lavanya came from behind and said "Because he dint get what he wanted "
Khushi "What ?"
Lavanya "he was asking for 1 lakh rupees from Aunty"
Khushi remained in shock on listening this "What Arnav ji asked for money ?"
Lavanya told everything to her .
Khushi "i have to go to my sasuraal now . I will make him understand . I k9 he will understand us . he is my husband and it is my duty to be with him everytime ."
Garima tried to stop her but she dint stopped "Amma !! I have to go ...otherwise tomorrow everyone will say that You dint gave any manners to your daughter ."
Garima was too emotinal on hearing this from her daughter .

Arnav reached his home in full anger .
Reaching to his room , he saw a jewellery box on the floor .
He picked it up and shouted "Amma !!"
Manorama and Anjali winked at each other .
Manorama went to Arnav "Kya hua ?"
Arnav "Whose box is this ?"
Manorama looked at the box and said in fake surprise "Haww !! Ye box ...Buaji gave this box to Khushi .She is so careless Arnav "
Arnav threw the box on floor .
Manorama "Beta !! Where is she ? And did Garima ji agreed ?"
Arnav "No !! She said a clear No ."
Manorama became angry on hearing this .She was thinking that she will keep getting money from Khushi like this but Garima said No to Arnav .
Manorama went to her husband Om in anger .
"Did you saw ? She dint gave any money to Arnav ."
"What ??"
"I told you before that they are bhikaris .Dont marry our son there ."
"But i thought..."
"We have to do something of this Khushi now ..."
Khushi reached her sasuraal alone .
With a light smile over her face she entered home .
She saw Anjali sitting there . She asked in a very humble tone "Arey di ..you dint went to your sasuraal ?"
Manorama came from inside "She is not a shameless person Neither us . We will never send our daughter to her sasuraal alone unless her husband himself come .We are not like others . We have respect ."
Khushi felt ashamed over listening this .
Manorama "Go to your room Arnav is waiting for you ."
Khushi's face turned to a huge smile when she heard that Arnav is waiting for her to come .
She hurriedly went to her room thinking that Arnav must be feeling sorry for what he did .
"I will forgive him for what he did . He is my husband . Also , we still dont know each other ."
