I am really sorry for the delay,I was heck busy past few days,Ill try my best to be more regular with this story especially.

Eid Mubarak to everyone who celebrate this festival today and tomorrow.May God showers his blessings on all of us.

This update is dedicated to Tushi0310.Belated Happy Birthday my friend.Wishing you loads of happiness,love and success forever.

PART 13

FAITH CONQUERS EVERY POSSIBLE FEAR

Arnav slowly unclasped his hand which Khushi was holding with a tight grip making sure she was finally asleep.Her other hand resting on Aashi as she patted her even unconsciously.He slowly without making any noise walked towards the edge of the glass door watching the stars in the sky.Khushi was ought to be so fearful since she has been the one who has seen Aashi so close to the danger,her reaction was very much feasible given all that they have been through.

He couldn't even think of a scenario where his family would be hurt,they were all he had.Few years back if someone has told him that a day would come when he would have his own family then he might have thought that person has gone insane but today as he stood there looking at the two people who were his life now,he didn't know how has he ever lived without them.

Always being true to himself,he knew he was only half living before Khushi entered his life,he never had time to think about himself in all these years.Forced by the circumstances to grow up early,facing deceits from the blood relations,being a shoulder to lean on for his elder sister while he was younger and taking on the responsibilities of the entire household as time passed,he has never spared a thought for himself.

He didn't but God has had a plan for him,he now believed with utmost sincerity that was the reason he sent Khushi in his life and then to make both of them whole Aashi being the blessing she was has been poured in their life.His chain of thoughts broke hearing "Arnavji"from Khushi,careful that she didn't awake again,he went near her and took his place besides her that made her calm in an instant.

The constant ringing of the phone woke up Arnav from a heavy sleep.He struggled to get up for a moment rubbing his sleepy eyes with one hand as his gaze moving towards his side only to find it empty.Seeing the curtains drawned up he realised it was Khushi's doing.She wanted him to rest knowing it has been very late when he slept but there was work that he needed to do .Irritated by the constant ringing of his phone he turned it off.It was a reminder of a meeting which he know he won't attend today.

Getting up from the bed he called up Aman to inform that he was not coming to office today.He has decided to stay home as the workers carried out their work for the fixtures and fittings and covered the poolside.It wasn't that he didn't trust Nk,he knew he loved Aashi dearly and would be sincere in doing what he has committed too.He was only a father who was making sure that his daughter was safe in her surroundings.

Getting ready he went downstairs,his eyes wandered for a glimpse of his wife when he saw her coming out of Naniji's room.They met in halfway a fond smile reaching their lips as their eyes softened the way they always did when they looked at each other.The all encompassing love mirroring in their eyes,they held each other gaze for a long moment,Arnav cupped her face with one palm as he asked her softly "Thik ho tum?".(Are you fine?).

Khushi nodded her head in response and without caring about who might seem them hugged him as he held her close to himself.The feeling of sheer peace evaded them as they stood in silence ,relishing the feeling of their togetherness,the fear they have yesterday was a nightmare that has vanished away completely with the unwavering faith they had on each other,their love and the never ending support of their family.

Arnav asked about Aashi though knowing it was the time she slept usually.Seeing her answer in affirmative and his face fell,to khushi he looked like a little child whose favourite toy has been taken away from him.Arnav always made it a point to spend some time with Aashi before he went to the office and today he has missed it to top it he wont be able to see her until night as he would be busy overseeing the work which meant he woild not be able to see her since night.

Khushi kissed him on his cheek suddenly as Arnav's eyes flashed up in surprise seeing her doing it.His wife always kept away from any public display of affections but as he led a still dazed Arnav to the door of Nani's room where they watched their daughter peacefully asleep,Arnav understood her reason of doing it.She always knew how to make him smile.

Naniji passed them a loving glance and thus leaving their daughter in the elderly woman guidance who has always been their pillar of strength for them.They did their breakfast together discussing all that was required to be done.Nk announced the arrival of the workers and the parents carried on with the most important task at hand.

The day passed in a blur,the team that was called for very efficient as they expertly covered the live wires and worked on every fitting and fixture.Arnav saw Nk supervising everything with utmost dedication making Arnav feel proud of his brother.He wouldn't realise it himself but his efforts really showed how responsible he was becoming with each passing day and the reason of it was oblivious to all this.Who said angels didn't existed?.He smiled to himself as he made his way towards Nk.Relieveing him of his work for the day,he took charge since the workers moved towards the poolside to cover it up.

Nk agreed as he took in the look of admiration of his efforts on Arnav's face.Arnav patted his shoulders instructing the workers to follow him.Once knowing what all was required to be done he stood there put all the safety while the proffesionals worked.The poolside has always been his escapade,his safe heaven,the calming water accompanied by the plants he looked after so dearly has always provided him solace and peace.

Whenever he needed to think,the things got too much to handle or when he just needed solitude he has always found it here.Never has he thought a day would come that the pool will be covered and there would be fences around it.He was lost in his thoughts he felt her hand holding his as she come and stood by his side.He knew she would come ,they didn't needed to communicate to know what the other needed as it is it was as special for Khushi as much as it was for him.

He didn't turned towards her just held her hand tighter.Khushi put her head on his shoulder seeing their favourite place turning a safety zone for their daughter.This place has been a testimony to their journey,from their first meet,to their Nok-Jhoks,towards the moments of tenderness and love and thus it held a very special place in their heart.

It was truly said that a child makes you do things you would have never imagined in even your wierdiest of your dreams.But they didn't felt a tad bit seeing it covered.They were not sacrificing anything rather for them it was a way for making many more beautiful memories with Aashi.Arnav and Khushi could already foresee as they day dreamed about him teaching her gardening,Aashi playing in the pool and many more for their life ahead to come.

Khushi moved back and forth as she tried to calm down Aashi who was wailing,everyone was trying what they could but she didn't stopped crying.Naniji sang her lullaby,Mamiji tried to feed her incase she was hungry but she didn't took anything,Nk made funny faces and tried his every trick which in any other moment would have got him his niece infectious laugter but today nothing seemed to be working out.

She was getting worried as the minutes passed by because Aashi has never been a cranky child,she was someone whom you cant help but love and smile with her.She was still rocking her when the door burst open and a very tired Arnav made his way towards them with anjali following him behind.He had to go to office to sign some important documents urgently,the toll of the past two days finally showing on him.

His presence made Khushi turn around as he took in the site of his daughter whose eyes were filled with big tears and those who knew Arnav Singh Raizada were aware that the thing he couldn't bare a sight of were the tears in his loved ones eyes.

Everyone watched in utter amazement seeing Aashi stop crying as she looked up from his mothers arms and saw his father standing in front of her looking at her with worried eyes.She struggles in Khushi's hold trying to get out of her mother's arms while she extended her own towards Arnav.

Arnav didn't take a moment before holding her close patting her head which made Aashi snuggle more in her father's safety.It was surreal seeing the father and daughter share a moment of such love and affection.Khushi had happy tears in her eyes seeing her husband and daughter's much smiling face now.She picked up her phone and captured the moment that was too beautiful to ever describe in words.

If a child needed a mother's warmth then it equally needed the safety and security that only a father could provide.A child is not immune to emotions,they recognises love and care equally,Aashi has missed her father's presence since morning,unable to voice her need has led her to crying which has only been stopped by her father's presence.Warmth and an unadulterated joy seeped inside their heart being aware of the bond that was itself created by God.

I write about it with the general knowledge I have,incase I go wrong with any issue feel free to let me know.

If I say its beautiful it will be nothing less than an understatement. There is not a single word that I didn't love. Arnav as the father was something I always wanted to see and you are fulfilling that wish in the best way possible. His self thoughts were heart warming. His ignoring his work for a job that can be done by anyone else is an example of how good a father he is. Anyone could have done that but that wouldn't have been Aashi's father. While being a father to Aashi he didn't falter in performing his duties as the loving and caring husband. Tum thik ho?--a single question reflected his endless concerns towards Khushi. I don't think I need to say anything about Arnav Khushi's bonding. If Khushi shares the relationship of best friends with NK, so does Arnav. While NK-Khushi's friendship is visible to the world, NK-Arnav's relation is something both of them cherish in their hearts without being vocal about it. Now this special bonding has been passed to their daughter as well. The poolside has been a witness to the many sad and happy moments of Arnav-Khushi's life which brought them to where they are today. And they would certainly not want it to be a testimony to any untoward happenings to their beloved daughter. If securing the pool means safety to their child, so be it. The last part is what brought a fond smile on my face. If Arnav can't be happy without seeing his daughter for a whole day, how can Aashi stay away from her father? That's what makes the relationship of a father and a daughter special. That was really beautiful. One of the best chapters so far I would say.

that was beautiful as always
there is a difference isnt it when you become parents
but its this difference that makes it worth while
you would do anything for your child
to keep them safe away from harm
how can you not after all they are your child naa
and they need not only their mother warmth but their dad protection too
that was just awesome
